Great Hotel for Just the Basics
This hotel is really great for the basic essentials. The staff was amazing and very helpful with communicating despite my limited Portuguese. The room was small but clean. It has a small safe, mini fridge, window desk, and bed. The bathroom is along the same lines of simplicity, it came with one small shampoo and a small soap. The shower seemed like it was cleaned but not scrubbed. There was some rust on the shower head and near the drain. it was the only questionable part of the experience.
Theres a restaurant and you can request breakfast in the morning for a buffet style selection. They also have a snack bar (chips, cookies, sodas) where you can pick up some items for your fridge. Nearby the hotel there is also a drug store with any essentials you may need.
I would highly recommend this place for a last minute or budget booking. The staff alone is worth staying here.

O servico do hotel e bom, o servico de bar snacks surpreende, lobby moderno e cafe da manha de boa qualidade. O valor da diaria foi muito alto. Um painel na recepcao oferecia diaria mais barata. O quarto é confirtavel mas pequeno. Um cheiro um pouco desagradavel q depois acostuma. O banheiro so tem duas toalhas de banho. Toalhas de rosto nao sao oferecidas.

Como sempre o Ibis Novo Hamburgo é um bom hotel . Você sabe o que irá encontrar. A localização é boa e de fácil acesso .
Tivemos um problema com o cofre( que não estávamos usando). Às 05:30 da manhã ele começou a emitir um som que parava e depois de aguns minutos recomeçava. Não conseguimos mais dormir. Quando descemos para o café da manhã notificamos a recepção. A atendente falou que já havia acontecido antes e que iriam providenciar o reparo.
Avisamos também que a porta do banheiro não fechava e a fechadura estava solta.
Saímos do hotel às 8:30 e só retornamos às 16:30. Para nossa surpresa o alarme do cofre continuava soar e a porta não havia sido arrumada.
Logo depois a equipe de manutenção veio ao nosso quarto. Por minha sugestão, como não utilizariamos o cofre, ele foi desligado. A fechadura da porta foi fixada porém a porta continuou a não fechar . Foi oferecido trocarmos de quarto, mas preferimos não fazer a troca pois estávamos com várias malas.
A cama é confortável . Lençóis e toalhas de boa qualidade.

Já ficamos algumas vezes no hotel, porém, dessa vez estávamos com um casal de idosos, chegamos à noite e havia somente um atendente na recepção, uma pessoal fazendo check in e outra esperando para fazer. Ficamos mais de trinta minutos esperando, muito tempo para um simples check in. No geral, bom como das outras vezes.
