Clean place. It was farther out the way than we had planned but we thought it was worth it for a beach view which we did not have unfortunately. The view was down the road.

The cabin was cute and smelled really fresh when I arrived, you can tell they put a lot of care into making sure they are clean. I only stayed one night so I didn’t make full use of all the kitchen amenities, but it was nice having the option and would have been everything needed for a longer stay. I wasn’t expecting the cabins to be so close to the main road and the view out the back was another house, but it still felt private enough, and was cute and quiet inside.
My only concern with the cabin its self was the shower stall, which was extremely thin and poorly assembled, the floor felt a little bouncy and the one wall was warped and exposing the plywood behind it and smelled a little mildewy. I’m thinking there are some moisture issues going on in the wall and floor of the shower because of this. Otherwise everything was wonderful and I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was sooooo comfy I got the absolute best sleep, that alone is worth 5 stars. For the price I’d definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beach. I had an ocean view from the small patio! The beach was only a short walk away. My stay was very quiet and low key, the perfect opportunity to get away and just enjoy the ocean. Check in was smooth and enjoyable, very personable and friendly. I WILL be coming back!

I took my grandchildren here for a weekend. The cottage was very little in square footage, but it had everything we needed. It was decorated with cool hand made furniture. It had a nice size fridge and microwave.

Beautiful place to stay! The units in the big shared building are lovely, with cute decor, quick access to the beach trail, and really comfy beds. The kitchen had a full size fridge and stove/oven, and even a dishwasher. It was equipped with pots, pans, utensils and flatware, as well as coffee and salt/pepper. The back part of this property where the shared building is feels so peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day!

It's misleading from the drive by but the 2 story along the beach is nice. Better that this building is kid and pet free. Family friendly cabins also available. The ocean view was very minimal with the growth of vegetation. Deck was warm. Rooms are updated nicely. I'd stay again.

The only things that caused me not to give an overall Excellent score were that the longer you are there, the more you find that there were cosmetic changes made, but underneath was the old materials (specifically the deck which felt very soft to walk on but there was a newer thin flooring on top covering over the bad deck floor, and the bathtub had an outside lip that wasn't attached well and we saw centipede type creatures coming out of it, and the kitchen countertop was lifting up on the corners).
Otherwise it was a great place to stay!

Second visit to the Pet Friendly Cabins for a stay and brought along family and friends. All Cabins clean, cozy and comfortable with fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher and all desired amenities. The entire property is private and peaceful and quaint. Looking forward to coming back already.

This was a very cute, clean and quiet cabin. The extremely large calla lilies right outside the door were beautiful. Huge plate glass window, even without an actual ocean view, made for a serene relaxing view of trees and greenery. Very nice rustic, seaside decor and really comfortable beds. Although the shower stall was on the small side, the water pressure was great! Would definitely stay here again!

We wanted a beach weekend getaway and this was a great spot to enjoy the beach with very few people around. It’s not too close to May things but it’s perfect for staying in and exploring the coast. Rooms are very spacious with kitchens in them! Highly recommend.

I stayed for one night. Staff were very kind, allowed me to check in early as my room was ready. I had done some crabbing that am and they have a shed in back for cleaning and cooking the catch. Needs a little upgrade but the basics were there and a nice touch. Beach was close, about a five minute walk. Room was well appointed. Really my only complaint—or recommendation—would be to place lamps on the side tables in the bedrooms.

Great stay for the price! Old beach smell, but property has been updated with newer flooring, paint, furniture and bathroom is nice. We rented cabin 12, it is the last on one in the row. The cabins are out by the road and then a nice paved road (pretty short walk) and the main hotel is a short walk to the beach. The pillows weren’t bad and the bed was very comfortable. The windows were very old with a piece missing from the double pane that didn’t affect keeping the room warm. You get the feeling they are steadily working at improving the property. Larger size of the dorm size fridge and a microwave in the room. Pet friendly options. We went to the mermaid museum and this is an easy place to stay close by.

Love the location and the proximity to the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cabins are cute and typically spacious enough. The two times we stayed there though, the moisture issue is real. Even just boiling water for 10 mins on the stove fogged the place up, with the vent on. The moisture issues over time cause mold. The family cabin this year had less than the smaller one last year. The one last year had a strong mold odor. I know it’s a big investment to update the cabins to control moisture and mold problems, but I think it’s past due and necessary. I’ll still stay again though.

A couple of shelves wouldve been nice though. The futon couch is getting really worn out but the beds were COMFY! It felt private and secluded and just all around peaceful.

The room was good. My only recommendations would be, the coffee pot could be lower, it was too difficult to use so I didn't. The hooks by the refrigerator would be beneficial to move so they can be used. And there was no bath soap, I used the shampoo. These are minor, other than that, I would stay again.

This was an ok and very basic motel stay. The “cabin” room is very small—- just enough room for a bed and tiny table with 2 chairs. There is no closet and virtually no floor space (you won’t be putting out a yoga mat!) However, the price was right, and you can walk to the beach. Like all of grayland, everything feels a bit damp and foggy…. Motel room included.

So these are little cabanas is what I got. I didn't stay down at the main hotel down by the water, but at main hotel I don't think you can even see the water anyway it's so far away. I would stay in the cabanas over the big hotel. the room was super clean newly remodeled it looks like to me. I would definitely stay here again. big beds, hot water, and good water pressure lots of parking.

Solid spot for clamming nearby and checking out the annual cranberry harvest festival. Units are older. Some have kitchens and some don't. There is a fire fit and chairs to lounge on. From the oceanview units, you can walk to the beach and avoid driving over for clamming (don't forget to mark how to get back though!)

The property manager was very friendly and welcoming. She was wonderful to deal with. The room was clean but ,I believe because of the age of the property, there is an unpleasant oder. We had a 2 queen bed cabin. It was very small but did have everything that was needed for our two night stay. There is not an ocean view from the cabins but it's an easy walk to the beach.

It was smaller than I expected. I thought a cabin would have a kitchen. But the microwave worked very well for the over night stay. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I was hoping for a view of the beach.

Super cute little cottage style room. The 'cottage' is split into 2 separate units, and we had 1 side. There is no air conditioning, but it was cool enough in September that we left the window open to cool the room down (we're from Canada). The ocean is close and just down the little road, that we walked and caught the foggy sunrise. Very comfy beds, pillows and sheets!

This property was misrepresented on your website, the conditions of the cabins, office for checkin and general upkeep of the facility immediately turned us away. We did not even bother to get out of our car. I am notifying Capital One Visa to dispute this charge,

Ocean was visible and beautiful ftom the room. The kitchen seemed to have everything though we didn't cook there. The jetted tub's drain never fully closed but held enough water to run for 20 minutes without dropping below the jets.

There was no ocean view but a very short drive to the public beach. The room was clean and quiet. Check in and check out were super easy. The beds were super comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but,
it seemed like a very adequate kitchen. I guess My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough seating in the living room and the bathroom is tiny. But it is a small cabin. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again

So the last time I stayed here was in 2022 and it had a swing set and sand pit for kids. This stay it was gone, Which made it really boring for kiddos.
There was mold in all the windows with dead bugs. The porch was covered in huge spiders. There is a coffee pot but with no water- you have to provide your own water to use it. The fridge kept falling apart every time I opened it.
Overall- it wasn’t as good as it was in the past. I did like being able to check in early. That was huge to me. The staff was kind and friendly. The beds were clean, although didn’t feel Ike a queen felt more like full size. The tv was huge in the room which was really nice.

A gem of a motel within walking distance of the beach. A little shopping nearby, including an excellent hardware store, but Westport is just a few miles down the road for more options.

Comfy room, giant spa tub with beach access! Quiet and peaceful. Recommend booking an oceanfront room. Very kind and welcoming. Helped us out when our car broke down and needed a jump without hesitation. Appreciate the hospitality! Would definitely book again!

This quiet set of cabins were just off the road, yet just a few minutes walk to the beach. The room was cozy, but had all the amenities we needed and seemed to have been recently updated. All was clean and welcoming.
