Sweet spot, one hot spring pool is open, felt great to soak, friendly and helpful staff. Great deal for the price and peaceful. Nice to see elephants on the river and slept well (hardish beds but I prefer that to lumpy!).

I was excited to stay at the Pia hot springs resort. Upon arrival the resort seemed different from my research. The wonderful resort had experienced a flood in September.
I was looking forward to all their services and amenities, the disaster wiped out many of the hot tubs and they have no services and a limited breakfast. The staff was super. It’s unfortunate that this resort has fallen on hard times.

Had to call to let them know we were arriving late, as they didn’t respond to email messages. It appeared that the resort had encountered flooding as it was very muddy and there was visible damage where hot tubs from some rooms had fallen into the river. Room was very basic, no tv or fridge and bed was like sleeping on concrete.
Cleaning of the room was good and the breakfast selection was good. A shame they weren’t serving lunch or dinner as a ‘resort’. Pool was dirty and very un inviting

We upgraded to a superior bungalow right on the river front. The room was well designed, huge, pretty and the bed was very comfy.

The staff were lovely, and to e breakfast is good.

The forest garden is well established, with some huge, ancient trees. It is not manicured, but rather a bit more to the natural and wild side.

The hot spa pool is big and crystal clear. The huge swimming pool is beautifully landscaped.

We had the whole place to ourselves and it felt very luxurious and we loved it.

The area the resort is in is very nice and peaceful. The bed was truly awful. The shower only had hot water about 10% of the time. The pool and hot spring were nice, but they appear to be open to the public and not just guests. Breakfast was very limited in its vegan options.

Remote but relaxe hotel

The hotel locate extreme remote. It provide only very limited free shuttle service to and from the Pai city, 1800 from hotel to city and 2100 from city back to hotel.
Very good swimming pool as well as hot-spring pools.
Ours is standard room and its condition (size, cleanness and facility) is not so good.

Poorly run hotel far away from everything

Most of the staff we interacted with spoke little to no English. They charge for every service they can. Room was not clean and was bug infested (we were in a river view chalet). One of the reasons we booked the room we did was for the spa on the balcony, but that was barely functional and wreaked of sulfur. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as it is overpriced and underwhelming.

The hot tub in the rooms DO NOT WORK because the authorities will not allow the water to be pumped. Havin paid a lot more for this luxury, I was disappointed and out of pocket. The website of the spa and the booking site are still advertising as available. They will not be available for the forseeable future. Massages and treatments are not available in your room. Room service not available unless you have a mobile phone. I wanted extra luxury I didn't get, but paid for. I would have paid less turning up on the day. It was not full. Pretty place. Best shower in Thailand.

We left a night early! Unclean!

Pros-
-The grounds of the hotel are lovely.
-The restaurant is nice
-There is a good sized 2 pools/ adjoining pools
-There is a few hot springs although they smell a bit odd.
-The staff are very friendly and helpful

Cons-
-Location: 10/15 mins drive from Pai. We thought there'd be a shuttle bus service but there was only one free one going into Pai at 6 and return at 9. We didn't want to return that early so the cheapest we could get a taxi at 11pm (also the latest we could manage to get one to stay out for us) was 500baht for two people!!
-Standard and \"Superior\" rooms are not advertised at all on the hotels.com website. They only show the photos of the more expensive chalet ones. The two former rooms are below any standard we've got throughout Thailand and we were paying the same rate never mind the location being fantastic in the other hotels.
-Rooms are dirty, stains on curtains and sofa. Beds are as hard as a rock. We got \"upgraded\" to a superior room and to be honest regretted it as the superior had more ants and geckos than the standard.
- No fridge/minibar or TV in standard room as listed on the hotels.com site.

I can't say anything for the chalets as they look nice from the photos, however if location is important to you I wouldn't bother!

We left one night early because of all of the above which isn't normal for us as were on a strict budget but it was worth getting a cheaper night in chiang mai in a nicer hotel!

Great location for this hotel

Nice hotel, with helpful staff, very well located close to the Tha Pai hotsprings spot and the Huai Nam Dang National Park. The swimming pool is nice and they even have hotsprings pools. Room are humbles but clean. A little bit far from the city tho (15 minutes drive).
But who cares about the city (especially in Pai), when you can have amazing sunset and sunrise. Very quiet, I recommend this hotel if you go to Pai.

Very good for the hotel location and atmosphear. The hotel facilitie wasn't nice, doesnt have hair dyier in room but you can get it from hotel reception for free and very small one. Overall services are ok accepted the lady receptionist. The hotel quite old and the price abit expensive.

This hotel was very relaxing. It needs some renovation to bring it back to life but staff are amazing and very helpful. I did enjoy myself. Its far from everything besides the elephant's. You will need a bike to get around or by taxi.

Good location, nice grounds, great for children

We had an enjoyable 4 days at the Pai Hotsprings resort. On the plus side the grounds were lovely, the pool absolutely gorgeous and the location of the restaurant on the river where the elephants come to bath throughout the day was magical. The food at the restaurant was nice and breakfast had a reasonable selection. On the downside the rooms were very tired, a little grubby feeling, dark and damp and cold (this was January!) The bathroom and furnishings were very basic - a little more 'rustic' than you would expect for the price. As usual though for Thailand, the staff were lovely and helpful and would do anything for you, and we enjoyed our stay here a lot.

Great family resort

We stayed at Pai Hotspring Spa resort for three nights, as a family with young children. The room we had a stand alone villa/hut with balcony and private mineral spring tub. Room was big enough to add extra bed for children and still have room to move around. Clean and tidy. Tub on balcony could be used early morning and again after 5 - i think they use the spring water for other stuff during the day and the pressure if not that strong so they can't have everyone running their tubs. There was also at least two pool sized mineral tubs on the grounds which were available during the day. The pool was a good size and over looked the rice fields and river. Plenty of grass to run around on for the kids and the staff were helpful and attentive to our requests. The spa was ordinary and I had a massage which was below average. Breakfast was also average with only a small selection of dishes available even during the peak season. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was ok. The location is lovely if you are there to relax but it was a good 7km out of town so either need own transport or they provide a shuttle service for a fee.
Generally a great stay and I would go back again!

Nice hotel, a bit overpriced

The hotel is about 8km from Pai town, so really need your own transport to stay here. Nice location, clean rooms. We chose the mountain view cottages - very nice, large bathroom, clean - definitely the best choice for room. We didn't bother using the bathtub on the balcony, as the larger spa pools were nearby and less hassle. The two swimming pools at this hotel were very nice too - clean, nice views by the river and mountains, large salaas to lie in too. Wifi is only available in the lobby - not in the rooms. We looked at the riverview cottages - glad we didn't spend extra to stay there - not worth it in my opinion. Breakfast was disappointing - restaurant looks old, food was basic and uninspiring (including the usual warmed white cardboard bread being passed as \"toast\"), and it was all served - i.e. no buffet. The other downside was the TV in room (small screen) has only 10-12 Thai language channels and nothing else. Service was fine - nothing special.

Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal ist super freundlich das Frühstück gut. es ist sehr ruhig ein Roller, um nach Pai rein zu fahren, ist empfehlenswert.

Bij aankomst kregen we een upgrade, altijd prettig.
Later bleek dat alleen deze verblijven (4) in gebruik waren. De rest werd niet gebruikt.
Het zwembad had groen water, werd niet goed onderhouden.
Helaas restaurant gesloten, waardoor geen ontbijt mogelijk was.
Al met al tegenvallend gezien de mooie foto’s op het internet.

Never go there even if it is the last hotel

Worst stay ever. Never go there even if it is the last hotel available. The room smelled like smoke. Sheets and curtains were stained. Door and windows did not closed well, therefore bugs could get in. Someone tried to enter our villa at 4am and finally we woke up to the sound of construction at 8am on a Sunday (without any notice of this). We did not stay the 2nd night we had booked. Staff did not speak English. They did not understood our complaints.

今回は野鳥観察を含めたパーイ滞在でした、施設内にも沢山の野鳥が居てすごく良かったです。
また、施設内の温泉も適度な温度で気持ちよかった、部屋にも引いてくれれば尚更快適です。

Если кратко, то когда то этот отель был на уровне, но время не щадит никого. Территория красивая, ухоженная, чистая, за этим следят на 5 баллов. Бассейн с горячими источниками достаточно чистый, работает круглосуточно. В простом бассейне не купались, слишком холодная вода и очень далеко от источников.
Быстрый чек ин, без залога, приветливый персонал.
Мы бронировали домик с видом на горы, оказался с видом на деревья и так во всех домиках. Очень много комаров на территории и в самом номере, пришлось ехать покупать ракетку и средства защиты от комаров. Плохое освещение в номере и на территории отеля. Старая пошарпаная мебель, жесткий матрас и твердые подушки. Мертвый вайфай.
Кондиционер дует на кровать, всю ночь то включали, то отключали.
В номере есть чайник и все для кофе, холодильник, в душевой мыло, гель для душа, шампунь и шапочка.
Вернулась бы только ради источников

Personeel spreekt gebrekkig Engels. Voor Pai heb je een taxi nodig van een kwartiertje. Park was erg leeg, maar wel mooi in de natuur.
