Expect basic beach bungalows, but nicely done with nice bar and restaurant with pool table. Friendly people. Boat trip was great. Be aware that beach is not a good swimming beach as it's very shallow and not a massive beachfront.

We only spent 5 nights but could have spent a lifetime. Palm Beach is ideal for families with kids or couples looking for a quieter option on Koh Rong away from the party hotspots, while also still offering cheap drinks and music for those seeking a laid back beach vibe. Scooter rentals are available right from the property so although it is further removed from other areas of the island, it is easy to get anywhere you’d like to explore. The food was amazing, and great mix of European and Khmer options. Martin the bartender was fabulous. The owner is hands on and always around to accommodate any requests and ask for feedback. She hires tons of locals and treats everyone as family. The bungalows are fairly rustic but perfect for nature lovers seeking an authentic tropical island experience. We ever had a Tokay Gecko visit us a couple of nights! We will definitely be back one day.

My seventh time visiting to Koh Rong but this was not good experience in this resort because it was too hot. It was my mistake for assuming every resorts have air condition in 2025 and I made reservations for seven days. We wanted to leave after the first night. We checked out early and did ask for refunds because of my mistake. ONLY OUT COME IS GREAT EMPLOYEES

This was a perfect island get away. The staff was exceptional. The owners were involved. More like a family affair with a wonderful community feel. Over the Holidays they organized games in the restaurant to include everyone (I was solo and never felt left out). I even had a medical issue and the owner and a local pulled me aside and gave me some excellent and very timely information that saved me from some real problems. I extended my stay even longer, which was lucky as they were booked out all the other days.

The owners and staff were great. Made me feel at home. Had a trivia night on Christmas to engage everyone into some community fun. It was very entertaining. Yoga is available in the morning most days. They helped set up all my activities and transportation. Also, The Chu Chiri “Tempura Barracuda” was my favorite dish in all of Cambodia. Ordered it twice in 3 days.

I had a beautiful stay at the Palm Beach Bungalow Resort. I stayed in a beach front bungalow which was very clean and had a beautiful view. The staff were lovely, and all the meals were delicious. I went on the boat trip which cost 20 USD and included fruit and drinks. We went snorkelling, fishing and swam with glowing plankton. I definitely recommend doing this if you have time. The location was very picturesque, and the resort didn’t get too loud which was nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and cannot thank the staff enough for making it so memorable.

A little bit of heaven.

Great atmosphere with this place. And a real mix of people, that works so well because of the relaxed atmosphere. Try lying in the hammocks that are in the sea. Lie in the sea as the sun sets over the forest behind the bungalows then grab a cocktail.

A little slice of paradise

We stayed here for 5 nights as a break from city backpacking and it was absolute paradise. We arrived on the boat and were greeted with a welcome drink and sat with one of the owners who explained how things work. You are given a barcode with your roomkey which you use to run a tab for the duration of your stay. This works really well as it means you dont need cash on you and you just settle up at checkout. There are no safes in the bungalows but there are safes within the restaurant and you keep the key with you which we felt very safe doing.

The bungalows themselves are basic but have everything you could possibly need for a beach stay like this. We absolutely loved the bungalows and they certainly exceeded our expectations.

We chose to make the most of the opportunity to relax so didnt do much exploring of the island but there were options to rent motorbikes if you wanted to. We set ourselves up on the sunbeds and stayed until sunset!

The property offer two trips, a morning hike and an afternoon boat trip. We did the boat trip and would definitely recommend as the plankton was something we will remember forever.

The staff at this resort played a huge part on our experience and the service was so personal and spot on for the vibe.

This isn’t a luxury resort, but that is reflected in the incredible value of this place.

When we arrived after a horrible ferry journey we were told we could not get food as the kitchen was closed due to a wedding taking place. Our bungalow was 50 meters behind the stage and the loud music went on until 1.30 am, so we could not sleep until it stopped. This spoilt our whole experience. If we had been told about the wedding in advance , we could have arrived a day later.

It's a family run beach front resort that is well kept and the owners are very pleasant people. The views are first rate. The cabins are cute and cozy. It's not the typical worn-out tourist spot. The food is tasty and there is plenty to drink if that's the goal. There's also snorkeling, kayaking, hiking the lovely island forest, relaxing on a fabulous beach, or sitting on a bungalow porch lazing in a hammock. What's best about this place is that they have struck the perfect balance between price and paradise. You don't have to declare bankruptcy or break the piggy bank to go and have a wonderful time. That alone makes me want to make it a regular vacation spot. Thanks!

Beautiful beach. Stayed for 3 nights in in deluxe bungalow with great view over sea.
Visited Palm Beach resort 3 yrs ago. Much quieter then but even with several large groups this time the service was very friendly.
Took Palm beach ferry back to Sihanoukville and was met by man in cafe in dock who was only one offering a taxi. Ended up a crazy journey in a tuktuk to meet up with taxi with several other occupants, some sitting hanging out the back of the hatchback and only just reached airport in time. Be warned.

Nice and basic bungalows with fan, sometimes a bit hot to sleep. Beach ok for sun bathing, but swimming challenging because of the rocks. Nice restaurant and good food. Canoeing and pool table ++ Just be careful with small flying ants!

The staff were amazing, you can tell they take pride in their place and go out of their way to help you out. The food was okay, beach kept clean. No AC, big deal though, fans kept us cool enough. Just don’t plug your phone in at night, will drain your battery. Charge after 8 am also can charge in restaurant. Plenty of games to play, board cakes, darts, pool, kayaks, volleyball, badminton..... local dogs and cat are friendly and cute.... price is awesome... felt like part of the family and we would go again in a heartbeat!

Best place on Koh Rong

This place is a gem. It's tucked away from the noise of the other places on the island, and feels like you stumbled into paradise. We stayed a night on Koh toch and were so happy to be here instead. Overall a much better scene, we felt the other side of the island was loud and dirty. At Palm Beach they have a restaurant that serves great food and drinks, kayaks and snorkel gear and tons of fun stuff to do. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and work into making this place fun and comfortable. Great staff, overall a wonderful place to visit.

Amazing experience.

We stayed at Palm Beach for 4 nights and we couldn't have had a better time.
The bungalows on the beach are very basic - western toilet with bucket to flush, shower. There are mosquito nets provided and taps so you can wash the sand of your toes before you get into the bungalow. I can really recommend the jungle Treehouse Honeymoon Suite - breathtaking views and sunrise.

**if you don't fancy 100% back to basics, book a deluxe room or jungle room.

The basic life takes a night to get used to but it is so worth it, forget your shoes and shirt and enjoy the atmosphere.

The staff at Palm Beach make the experience so special, Mireille and Greg are absolute heroes and so beautiful inside and out. Mireille looked after my girlfriend when she had an allergic reaction to a bite. Greg is so friendly and happy, he runs trips such as hiking and snorkelling/fishing. Very worth doing! We snorkelled at Coral Island and fished from the boat and it was wonderful.

The food at Palm Beach is good and the Khmer staff are so polite.
You won't be bored if you don't want to be - there's snorkelling gear, kayaks, badminton, volleyball and endless swimming and walking opportunities.

There are animals galore on the island and at Palm Beach there is Numbi, Greg's beautiful dog, kittens, piggies and chicks!

What is UNFORGETTABLE about Palm Beach is the bioluminescent plankton.
It's like swimming in blue glitter - phenominial.
You should go, talk to everyone, smile lots.

Quiet, on the beach

More like a 3 star accommodation. Grounds are beautiful, and plenty of areas to quietly relax and enjoy the scenery. These bungalows are on the beach! Beach is more like a swimming pool and super clean. They have volleyball nets. They have BBQ every night for 7$, which is a bit pricey, but delicious. Food in general is a bit expensive here. Othere than the BBQ food is pretty bland. Good choice of lounging music at the restaurant . Do NOT take their \"snorkeling \" 15$ boat trip. Not worth the money and the snorkel location was not appealing and only given about 25 minutes to snorkel. The problem is that it starts at 3pm. Which is very late given the distance to the snorkel location.

Way over priced. Website says rustic, so don't expect more; fans, limited lighting, scoop water flush, no daily room cleaning, trash removal or towel change, electricity of during day. Food was ok, with limited selection and they ran out of things. Only one kayak available and snorkel/fishing trips with lousy equipment don't always work out. The beach is nice but shallow and rocky so hard to swim. We had numerous times when there was no water in our bungalow and it wasn't a priority for them to fix. Music was loud until close to midnight and morning noises started by 6.

Svært bra beliggenhet. Kjørte rundt øyen med scooter og syns det var den beste beliggenheten av det vi fant.

Bodde på beach bungalow. Hadde mus i sengen første natten, så fikk byttet uten problemer til et nytt rom som var rent og fint.

Fine lokaler. Fin sandstrand, men litt dårlige bademuligheter da det var svært langgrunt og noe stenete på den ene stranden.
Veldig god service. Helt ok mat.

Forlenget oppholdet fra to dager til en uke pga god beliggenhet, hyggelige folk og bra lokale.

Underbar oas!!

Underbar plats om man söker lugn och ro men ändå tillgång till häng med musik, bar, god mat, fantastiskt sköna fluff-fotöljer, hängmattor och solsängar. Vackert som tusan, en härlig oas med allt man behöver!! Olika spel, bollar att låna, mkt bad och båtutflykt, så barnen hade lugnt och skönt men alltid något att kunna hitta på! Mysiga, fina bungalows som verkligen ger djungelkänsla. Personalen bara trevlig och hjälpsam hela tiden! Rekommenderas!!

Geweldige paradijsje. Vanaf de leuke enthousiaste welkom tot het hartelijke afscheid hebben wij een fanatastische tijd bij Palm Beach gehad. De service was meer dan overweldigend. Het, uitgebreide, eten was erg lekker (ik dacht Chu Chi met barracuda was fanastisch). De relaxte sfeer (happy hour cocktails!) de prachtige omgeving en de geweldige inzet van Mireille, Roy en hun staff maakten ons verblijf tot een van de hoogtepunten van onze reis naar Cambodja.

Beautiful and relaxing

We stayed 3 amazing days at Palm and could have stayed many more. Our bungalow was one of the simpler ones but we heard they have more rooms to choose from, so if you are looking for a little upscale room we are sure you can get it. 2 hour boat to arrive to this little paradise with its own private beaches, excellent food and drinks, cozy restaurant with nice wifi and people full of smiles. We took the afternoon boat tour for snorkelling, fishing and watching the sunset. Also we did the small trekking to lonely beach and nearby fishing village, it was super nice.
Thank you very much Mirella and all the staff we hope that you keep this little spot of heaven for many years to come. Love from Mexico!!!

大家还是在西哈努克好好度假吧，没必要来这些小岛上玩……要做2个小时的船，每天只有一趟固定时间，往返船票每人25美金，发动机嗡嗡嗡要在耳边叫2个小时……来之前就知道两个岛屿住宿条件比较差，相对来说高龙岛的条件好些，因此就预定了这里。我们入住的这个房间还不错，是一个草屋里打通的两个房间，因此有两个双人床，两个洗手间。不过床上感觉好多沙子，晚上洗澡发现没热水简直泪奔，幸好只是将就一晚第二天一早就走了。晚上11:30断电，风扇也会停，一直到次日晚上才会有点，手机要充电的要注意了……早上起来看日出（酒店的方向无法看日落），但云雾太多也没看到什么东西，早餐也是不包的，一个人都要花6美金左右。这个酒店所在的地方比较多礁石，因此不要说浮潜，连游泳都是被酒店建议最好不要下去的，容易受伤。因此这一天完全只是来体验生活了……早餐吃完就走了，再次嗡嗡嗡2个小时……

Toen we aankwamen na een lange dag reizen dacht ik dat ik in het paradijs was beland. En dat is het ook. Een wonderschone en rustige omgeving! Met een heerlijk drankje werden we welkom geheten. Ons huisje op het strand was gedateerd en kon wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Heel erg basic, maar dat wisten we voor we er kwamen en werd gecompenseerd door de prachtige plek. Er werd niet schoongemaakt in de dagen dat we er waren. In de omgeving is niets te beleven. Je kunt een stukje wandelen en de stranden heb je bijna voor jezelf. Onze kinderen van 10 en 6 hadden niet meer nodig en vonden het geweldig. Er is strand met zee (rechts van het restaurant), waar het wat dieper is en daar moet je opletten voor zee-egels. Links van het restaurant is een prachtig strand met eindeloos blauwe ondiepe zee zonder zee-egels. We hebben een keer een boottocht gemaakt om te snorkelen en te vissen. Dat was leuk. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Leuke mensen ontmoet. Er kan zeker eea verbeterd worden op het resort, maar we hebben er echt een toptijd gehad!

Efter ett häktiskt stadsliv med fulla stränder var detta ett ställe att njuta av. Inte mycket att göra men det uppvägdes av den fantastiska natur och trevliga personalen. Bungalow enligt traditionella stuket där det är säkrast att ligga under myggnät på natten.Det är helt okej att gå runt barfota överallt :-) att tänka på är att Palm Beach Bungalow Resort har en egen direktfärja, vilket gör att man sparar en hel del tid och pengar.

It is a very calm resort without very much to do. There are no other hotels or restaurants nearby. If you want to go to another part of the island you have to walk through the jungle several hours. The hotel offers one boat tour each day but you can't take the boat to the other side of the island. The restaurant was nice and relaxed. Overall a nice place to go but be aware that it is very calm.
