Excellent hotel with outstanding service. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the surroundings are very well maintained, and everything is clean and tidy. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the services are flawless. The hotel is located directly on a clean, long beach with white sand, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.

We spent four nights on Long Set Beach and absolutely loved it. The beach itself is stunning — white sand, clear blue water, and easily the nicest spot we found on the island.

The hotel served good food, and there were one or two casual bars and restaurants within walking distance, which made evenings really easy. They’re also in the process of building a new bar and reception area at the hotel (the noise was minimal and away from the rooms so didn’t bother us).

The staff were great throughout our stay. They were friendly, helpful, and arranged both a boat trip and our ferry tickets without any hassle.

Overall, a beautiful location with lovely service — we’d happily stay again.

Absolutely stunning hotel in a prime location on longset beach. However what makes this hotel outstanding is its wonderful staff. Everyone from the room attendants to the waiting staff make you feel like a VIP , always with a smile on their face.
We had a pool view room with a huge bed which was cleaned daily.
We ate 2 nights in the hotel and both meals were delicious and very reasonably priced ( highly recommend having the bbq)
If you can get into this hotel, don’t hesitate to book.
We will be returning next year.
Don’t forget to bring some deet! This is a tropical island so you will get bitten.

This was a lovely bungalow style property right on long beach and the pier was right next to the property so easy to get to! And the staff meet you at the port and help with your bags.
Room was lovely and spacious and the robes were fantastic.
Unfortunately the shower didn’t drain very well so after 2 people showering you did have a slight pool situation.
The staff were very friendly but the restaurant staff were not particularly attentive, often having to gain their attention to order food but this seemed to be a running theme on the island at other places.

The beach and the sun beds are fabulous. Breakfast was included, lovely selection of fruits with a ramen and omlette stand. Hot buffet section was minimal. Basic breakfast but nice. Would recommend this place.

Resort is set in a beautiful part of LongSet beach and within walking distance to the pier. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating but the best staff member was a sweet resident resort dog named mack who played and swam in the ocean and was always on the search for more belly rubs from hotel guests.

We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return!

Amazing stay at this beautiful resort. We woke each morning to a fresh, delicious and varied breakfast buffet that had lots of options for our vegetarian daughter as well. Staff were exceptionally friendly and Mr Sim went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional by helping us book a van tour and snorkelling.

Terrible Stay! Injuried on Scooter, No First Aid When Asked! What Happens if Someone Seriously Injurys themselves? Breakfast okay, but no great! Charged 10 dollar's because the keys locked in the room and they had to let me in! Absolutely Disappointed will not be back! The hostel provided better service!

The staff met us at the ferry dock holding a sign, which was cool, unexpected and helpful as it can be confusing figuring out where to go when you dont speak Khmer, here. ...the resort is clean, well mainatined, comfortable and the staff--everyone--was kind and went out of their way to provide excellent service. the mgr. Owen speaks English (is from the UK or States or anyway, really went all out to provide me and my girlfriend with all the information, ferry tickets/schedules...taxi/tour rental, everything we wanteded and needed to have a super stay on the island! We will come back also because the location is great. quiet, plenty of shade on the beach (hard to find on sok san), but easy to ferry or taxi or scooter to anywhere on the island for partying, food or touring.

We had a great stay. The resort is very close to the ferry dock. Someone met us at the boat and carried our luggage. Check in was organized and easy. The rooms are small but adequate. Our refrigerator was dirty and full of water when we arrived. We notified the front desk, but noone came to clean it and it was not cleaned throughout our 3 night stay. The beach is beautiful and the location was the best. The accommodations on the island range from tents and treehouses to private islands. We felt this was a nice middle ground. The luxury resorts are far from amenities, and this resort is on a nice beach within walking distance of restaurants and the main town.

Convenient option for long set beach

Overall I think long set resort is a nice option. It’s not going to be uber comfortable - staying on an island in a developing country mind you but the scenery is gorgeous, the room was clean, the food and drinks are good, staff are helpful and you have access to kayaks and paddle boards. I think compared to other places I saw nearby this was a gem. Martyna was very helpful and was helpful for communicating. The rest of the staff work hard and do what they can to help the guests. Recommend it but manage expectations.

You go to Koh Rong for the white sand beach and clear teal water. The hotel's section of the beach is very clean.

Bioluminescent Plankton - recent development means it is no longer possible to see the Plankton from the shore, but the hotel does offer boat tours at night to see them

Not for the solo traveler. Super boring place. Food menu never changed and didn’t offer great variety, though it was good. Beautiful location and the staff is helpful. But they put me in a room next to construction and the place was filled with loud children. I found it impossible to relax here. Might be more enjoyable if you are a family. But definitely not for the solo traveler.

It was set on the most beautiful beach and there was no music which stopped being able to hear the sound of the sea Plenty of sunbeds which can be moved in or out of the sun to natural shade under trees no unsightly umbrellas. Long Set Resort - beautiful but needs improvement

Long Set Resort is on a beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms are nice and new. What we didn’t like is it seemed to be missing any type of vibe. Also I think they really need to train the staff on some customer service. They didn’t clean our room at all which I would have liked them to at least empty the trash in the room. None of the wait staff was ever on the beach serving drinks. Which isn’t that big of deal but when we stayed at a place the night before on Otres Beach for half the cost and got excellent service. The food was so-so. They also had us fill out a card for a breakfast box but then it wasn’t ready for us in the morning. Luckily, we had enough time for them to open up the breakfast buffet anyways. They weren’t consistent with what time it would open. They just seemed to be catering to a large group there and all the other guests were irrelevant. Also make sure to bring cash as their credit card machine wasn’t working when we were there

Lovely laid back vibe on fantastic beach

We loved our stay at Longset even though it was torrential rain on arrival. The new manager could not have been more helpful when we had to curtail the visit for logistical reasons. There is a genuine friendliness and warmth about the staff. The see is clean and clear. Perfect for swimming. When the sun is out you never want to leave. Pool is great for swimming lengths. Nice hotel on the beach, away from main village

We enjoyed staying here. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel is right on the beach and the water is just beautiful. The wifi in our room was pretty much non existent but wifi did work at the restaurant and it parts of the beach. The hotel has a main pier a few steps away. That is where we arranged drop-off and pick-up. To get to the main village you have to walk along the beach and through the jungle for about 30 minutes. Meals are a bit more than on mainland and the prices at this hotel were only slightly higher than the restaurants in Koh Touch. All the meals we had here were delicious! Customer service was great and the breakfast spread that was included with our booking had a good selection. We would definitely stay here again.

After checking out of some horrible accommodation on Koh Rong, I booked 3 nights here last minute and was impressed. I was welcomed by the manager on arrival at the beach and provided a refreshing welcome drink. The rooms were cool on arrival and staff made us feel relaxed straight away. The resort has everything you need on the island, and at reasonable prices you are able to hire kayaks, motorbikes to get out on the water. The food here is of a good standard and not overpriced like some resorts. But overall the best thing about this place is the views out to the ocean. If you want to just relax, book here.

Good place to relax and unwind

One of the nicest resorts to stay at Koh Rong. The resort overlooks an isolated beach where you experience crystal blue water. It's a peaceful place to get away and just relax without the hustle and bustle of lots of people. No roads around to get to the other side of the island only by taxi boat.

In most instances the food was ok, but on the last two days got severe food poisoning. Be careful of eating salads and having ice in your drinks. It was probably the cause of my food poisoning.

Flies all over your food

The resort was generally clean and tidy and the staff friendly, the major complaint is the flies in the restaurant.
If the management tackled the flies that appear instantly when you sit down in the restaurant I would have stayed longer.
Most nights we had to kill 4 or 5 mosquito before sleep as the doors have gaps.

again problem can be solved with a bug zapper lamp

We stayed in Long Set resort during February. The staff are really trying to get this place off the ground and its definitely improving if earlier reviews are anything to go by. If you want a great location (the beach is beautiful) and total relaxation then this place is for you.We liked the fact that it wasn't over the top in terms of luxury.

Enjoyable stay but could be better

Long Set is trying hard. The best hotel on that section of Koh Rong but the competition is very limited so it sets this hotel apart. Breakfast ok, prices ok, beach great but sand flies an issue. Came back with bites everywhere. Room not serviced till post 3.30pm every day. Restaurant suffers from under-staffing when busy but not rectified the following day. Room fixtures faulty (broken toilet seat, noisy ceiling fan, loose door lock) despite being newly built. Bizarre that they had no shop facilities for basic items even though there would be a huge market for given the total lack of shops nearby. Trying hard but a long way to go to reach the standards of Thailand resorts. Far prefer the latter.

The hotel itself is in an amazing location with its own beach front. It has a nice restaurant but with limited seafood even though it is located in an island in front of the ocean. Swimming pool is nice, right in front of the gym which is not well equipped unless you only want to do your chest. It has a couple of benches and a series of cardio machines which you most probably won't use due to the temperature. The rooms are isolated and are nice but quite small. Air conditioning works amazingly well. Showers have no doors so even though when they are nice, the water runs around the rest of the washroom because of poor drainage. Bed is very comfortable and internet connection is alright, but then you might not needed in such a wonderful place. Overall I think the hotel is a little overpriced for Cambodia, but still I would recommend it due to its location and how well the staff treats you.

Dejligt hotel, i 1 række til en af de flotteste strande i Asien. Stranden er det fineste hvide sand, og personalet på Hotellet holder den fin ren for affald.
Vores værelse var stort med både bruser, badekar og altan. Vi havde dog ingen udsigt fra Altanen.
Morgenmaden er langt under middel for et 4 stjernet hotel, der mangler større udvalg af både brød, ost, pålæg og lokale retter. Kaffe og te er færdiglavet og står på en varmeplade, der er mulighed for at få lave frisk kaffe og te i forskellige varianter mod ekstra betaling. Det bør være gratis på et 4 stjernet hotel, ligesom varmt vand og tebreve bør være en selvfølge.

Parfait hôtel pour se detendre

Nous avons passés trois 3 nuits à Koh Rong et et avons décidé de prendre cet établissement pour sa proximité avec le débarcadère. L’hôtel mérite quelques améliorations concernant la décoration un peu froide dans la chambre, l’évacuation de la douche qui n’était pas optimale, le manque d’une paroi de douche, d’une vraie porte pour la salle de bain, ainsi qu’un espace pour sécher ses affaires et la literie qui n’était pas confortable du tout. Cela dit nous avons adoré les prestations de l’hôtel, telles que les transats sur la plage, les options de restauration, les piscines, la salle de sport ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Un hôtel qui nous a permis de nous détendre tout en profitant de la beauté des plages de l’île. Petit clin d’œil à MAC, le chien mascotte de l’hôtel qui vient se baigner avec vous lorsque vous lui demandez et qui ramasse les déchets.

Soggiorno meraviglioso, camera ampia e pulita giornalmente con affaccio sulla piscina. Colazione ampia e varia, ristorante in loco di ottima qualità (seppur un po’ caro). Spiaggia privata in un tratto incantevole con ombrelloni e lettini per tutti gli ospiti. Sup gratuiti, Ping pong e palestra. Possibilità di noleggio scooter direttamente dentro al resort. Staff super gentile e disponibile anche nell’organizzare i vari transfer. Note dolenti sono solo due e non relative al resort stesso: la presenza di numerose sand flies in spiaggia e zanzare alla sera (necessario ricoprirsi di olio di cocco e autan perlomeno a gennaio) e la poca insonorizzazione tra le camere (una mattina siamo stati svegliati dalla sveglia lasciata in camera a suonare dei nostri simpatici vicini maleducati, da considerare se avete il sonno leggero).

On a passé 4 jours magnifiques au Long Set Resort, tout est canon !
Les chambres super confortables qui donnent directement DANS la piscine, la plage à l'eau turquoise, les transats sous les palmiers, le restaurant quasiment les pieds dans la mer et puis on a adoré la gentillesse et le sourire du personnel !
On y a passé la soirée de Noël, ils avaient organisé une soirée spéciale avec concert, animations et on a tous allumé des lanternes qu'on a envoyées dans le ciel ! Nous n'avons qu'une hâte, c'est d'y retourner!

Underbart läge precis vid stranden, trevliga fräscha rum men lite för hårda sängar och inga sänglampor/tv vilket visserligen inte behövdes men sänglampa hade varit trevligt. Jättetrevlig personal och helt ok frukost.
Bäst var att de gjorde extra platser precis vid havet för middagen, samt att det fanns solsängar på stranden för de boende och såklart läget.

Definitely overall the most beautiful resort on the island. It’s easy accessible, just by the pier. Even though it’s not far from the pier, the resort feels very quiet and private. There is several restaurants, bar and resorts not far away if you want to eat somewhere else. The staff puts a lot of effort into making you feel welcome and keeps the resort and beach clean at all times. If you want to explore the island the resort has scooters for rental :)

Resort situato sul mare, personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Abbiamo provato anche il massaggio ed è stato perfetto. Unica pecca è che ogni tanto mancava l'acqua calda.

Zimmer sah katastrophal aus, alles beschädigt. Zusätzlich Ungeziefer in Zimmer und Bett. Hotelpersonal lachte mich bei Beschwerde aus.
