Rude and cocky - go to Ibiscus instead.

Avoid this place! Hotel itself was ok, good location and ocean view rooms were actually nice but service ruined the whole experience. I made a reservation through hotels.com which showed check in time at 2PM and check out at noon. When I came to the front desk they told me I’m mistaken and those are not hotel rules. They can try to get me in at 3PM at the earliest and I have to leave at 11am. I showed them confirmation email and my reservation showing otherwise and the gentlemen helping me was extremely rude then another person who should never work in hospitality Ioanna Megri joined and made things even worst. The attitude, rudeness and cockiness were all over with language that leaves a lot to desire. She told me they never make mistakes here, I can get out and sleep on the street if I don’t like it. Started yelling and created very hostile environment. Then we just gave up and agreed to they’re messed up rules even tho confirmation said otherwise. When they learned that I’m staying in one queen size bed with my partner (we are gay) things has gotten even worst with even more attitude. Someone said that it’s a cultural thing so I tried to be understanding but when I extended my stay at the neighboring hotel Ibiscuc the service was truly excellent so if you want to make a choice avoid these people and go to Ibiscus Nextdoor for much better experience.

The Location was Perfect!! Across the street from a Great beach (get the sea view rooms, so worth it) & a close walk to ancient ruins. The rooms are all updated & beautiful. We also loved the big buffet breakfast which was a multi station affair including ding classic Greek, traditional British, lots of pastries es etc & nice coffee station. The pool was nice too. We loved it!

When booking it says parking is included as an amenity. When I checked they said parking is on your own. There isn't any parking anywhere near the hotel. Also when I first pulled up to the hotel I parked in front to check in and find out what to do with my car and they said I have to move. I said I was checking in and they said I still had to move. I booked this hotel based on the fact that I had a place to park my car. Expedia should remove that amenity in the description of the hotel. Also water went from hot to cold many times during a shower.

Property is in a GREAT location. Very nice design i have to believe it was recently updated, in good taste. The draw back is that the cleaning in the room was not up to par with the class of the hotel. It was not a busy time of the year and hair was all over the bathroom and I'm bald

Delightful place to stay!!!

We loved our stay. Room was wonderful with the ocean view. Easy access to the ocean to watch the sunrise. The breakfast buffet was elaborate. Easy walk to shopping and 15 minutes to old town. Easy and beautiful.

I have stayed at this property twice in the past. Location is ideal and loved staying a the property. Unfortunately after the renovation, certain things were not up to par with the renovations. 1) Air conditioning was bad. Unit showed you could lower the temperature up to 5 degrees celsius. Not true. It went only up to 23 degrees celsius which was quite hot. 2) Cleaning services wasn't very good. After cleaning there were water stains on the shower doors and the mirror in the bathroom. 3) Elevator and hallways were not air conditioned while temperatures were almost 45 degrees celsius.

The hotel was clean and welcoming, the rooms had been refurbished and we got one of those rooms. Thw location was the main reason for booking this hotel and the price. Breakfast was delicious and loads to choose from, and different options daily, for example crepes or pancakes. Potatos, fries or has browns. The main breakfast room is rather crowded so get there early and don’t sit in the sun by the window as it’s like a green house with the curtains open.

Great location right by the sea and particularly in the quite area of the sea (without significant waves), next to the old town, clean, friendly, professional, comfortable. Great restaurants (Louise, etc) near by with very friendly staff. I only had breakfast with this package and it was standard with fresh produce, etc. Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic beach position.

The hotel is right on the beach with lots of restaurant choices close by. The port is a five minute taxi away. The hotel though comfortable is a bit dated and the bathroom is very small and pokey. Rooms are clean. Breakfast buffet fairly ordinary. Only downside a very rude security guy on the main door when we returned from dinner. We have another few days there so will compare again.

The position of the hotel was excellent. The reception and bar areas were fine. The breakfast was good but the restaurant was much too small for the number of guests. The room we had (garden view) was directly above the kitchen and the ventilation system and other kitchen machinery was very loud when our balcony door was open. The garden was essentially one enormous rubber tree that shaded out the light. The bed was comfortable but the room contained too much furniture for its size, making it difficult to move around.

Nice Hotel close to beach, without entertainment

Would not recommend this hotel for any English holiday makers. Our thoughts where the appear to cater for the German, Dutch & Swedish breakfast all continental with nothing for the English, snotty eggs, awful something that looked like bacon, tinned German sausages, small cornflakes that tasted like bits of cardboard. The toast was OK if you put it through the toaster twice. and asking for hot water they seem you were from another planet.
Room OK with TV channels for USA & English were only news and financial channels which repeat every 20 mins. BUT the German German, Dutch & Swedish channels did have films and there local channels
Swimming pool is not worth getting into very small with 1.2 mtrs for 2 mtrs then a steep slope for 1 mtr to a drop into 2. 4 mtrs of water with titles you could only slip on. on arrival late at night and put into room without sea view, had to tell them we paid for sea view, hotel was full that night & moved the next day

Overall we like the hotel as a base to explore the Medieval Old Town; lots of restaurants and shops nearby; pebbly beach in front of the hotel; air con was noisy and not cool enough the first night - got fixed at once which was better. Mini-bar didn't work first day, again got fixed right away; both air con and mini-bar took one day to start functioning properly, which could have been avoided if they are checked before guests arrive. Swimming pool is small but quite pleasant. Not enough deckchairs as full all the time. Lovely lounge area and plenty of spaces to relax in. Gym and spa facilities are at Rodos Palace and have to pay for transfer (taxi or bus) if not booking for beauty treatment. Gym is ok with outdated equipment. Spa, steam and saunas are tiny (only fit in a few people). Beauty treatments are very nice but expensive. Wi-fi is linked with room TV and it works well. Bar is handy for poolside drinks and cocktails at night. We were on half board with buffet breakfast and dinner. Themed dinner every night which was interesting. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

A perfect location. Lovely views of the sea and nearby harbour/coast from any room with a sea view. The standard rooms are of a good size, the staff are extremely friendly and the hotel of a good standard. Breakfast was very good throughout the week. It was a 10min walk to the Old Town and there was a promenade outside the hotel which was excellent for an evening stroll (or more!). All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There is a road outside the hotel - not too busy (and only one-way) but worth trying to get a room on a higher floor. The aircon in the hotel was not working at the end of March so the rooms were a bit hot. Overall, very happy with the hotel and very good value for the price paid.

Luxury hotel, good value, sea views, near old town

I booked a room with a garden view on Expedia but they gave me a free upgrade to a room with a sea view. This was in November when the hotel wasn't completely full, but winter is the best time to go, when it's 20 degrees and the days are 1 and a half hours longer than in Britain in the winter. I was able to use the Internet for free every day on the ground floor. The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to make an international phone call from my room and leave my luggage behind the reception area during my last day there between checking out and going to the airport. Cable TV in many languages and WiFi in every room. It's an easy walk to the old town, the port, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the bus station.

Good hotel. We upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the sea and was delighted with it. Sea early Nov was still warm - surprised had tp pay 5 euros per day to use a sun lounger..

Hotel pool is basically a pool for kiddies.

Breakfast is poor quality for a hotel of this standard .

Coffee machine in the bedroom makes good coffee which is charged at 1.60 e per small cup..

Wonderful hotel with the perfect location! Right next to the beach, 10-15 minute walk to the Old Rhodes Town and even closer to the new town and Mandraki Harbor. Wouldn't choose anywhere else for the price

Fantastic stay. You are right on the beach and right next to everything the city has to offer. We loved that there was only a short walk into the centre of the city and also a short walk to the old town which meant you were away from all the noise. The hotel was beautiful with a lovely quiet swimming pool (quiet due to its proximity to the beach). The room size was fine. We had 3 twin beds in ours and although one was a travel bed, it was fine. The staff are helpful; my first travel bed broke when I sat on it (whoops!) but they immediately changed it for a bigger and better one that felt like a normal bed. The bathroom was a good size with good facilities and you can flush the loo paper! (Well there wasn't a sign to tell us any different). The food is the only thing that let it down for me and only slightly. Breakfast was always amazing with pancakes or waffles and other savoury options. We have lunch once there and that was very tasty but I often stuggled to find something I liked at supper. The food is all labelled but sometimes that doesn't help (for example one was called a \"santorini sunset\" and I still don't know what that is). They have themed food nights (Greek, Italian, Chinese). Just found it to be lacking. Some of the waiting staff are fantastic and prompt, others not so much. Overall, due to all the good features and the location, I would definitely stay here again.

Me and my girlfriend was in that hotel - 10-14 April 2017, room 323 view to the sea. First of all when we arrive to the hotel, at the helpdesk they was very nice. Thank you. they have upgrade our room from the garden view to the sea view. Thank you. the view was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G near the casino. It was 3'rd floor - too noise but not too much.
We had there 2 problems:
1) We have ordered with breakfast, but it was without. We speak with the services at the hotel, they say to us that they will cheek it and will update us. What is happened is that we ask every day twice about that without any update from the hotel.
2) On the 2'nd day our safe not worked. We call to the service of the hotel, they tell us that it be fixed. 2 days we have remind to them about our problem, but they didnt fix it!

The cleaning services was super!

Great breakfast, lovely reception. Very clean and nice and bright. However, I wouldn't say it's a four star stay. We requested a king size bed and received two singles pushed together (I understand requests can't always be taken into consideration). They had two separate duvets and the beds just kept sliding apart. My boyfriend and I ended up sleeping separately for the night! His pillow was also rock hard, but the beds were comfy. Just felt like the hotel lacked that certain something. From staying in some five star hotels, this was definitely more than one star below. Although not bad, it wasn't necessarily what I expected. Fantastic location, right on the beach and close to town.

Noisy air con in the rooms which did disturb first night sleep but we got use to it. Breakfast was good plenty of choice but congested. If hiring a car do not go with the hotel recommended (exotic cars) many other hire companies short distance from hotel half the price, €140 compared to €75 from holiday cars! Pool very small. If we were to return to rhodes I would return to this hotel.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Room was quite nice, with good size of
balkony and quite high balustrade, so safe for 3 years old. We had a standard double room with a lovely view for the sea. Happy with a bathroom as there was nice, clean bath and

Well was a bad experience in that hotel.
you can t imagine the stuff at reception how they treat people (off Corse instead of Aris and Katerina ).
i don t understand how owner keep them working at the hotel .
First is Nikos ,Second Yanis or Yaris
I really I recommend that no one stay at that hotel otherwise if they change bad stuff.
also toilet are very small for teh single room.
do you immagine as well that this 5 star hotel still using keys to open doors instead of electronic cards.

There were renovations ongoing we were not made aware of. This did not significantly disrupt our stay and we were there during the low tourism season. If traveling to Rhodes during low tourism season be aware that a lot of things are closed.

Hotel is very conveinent and has its own beach. Perfect location.

over priced for what you get..

to my mind, the room was overpriced for what you got.. the younger day attendant at the front service desk was surly, and unaccommadative..[checked online for a water view, and there was availability online, (for an extra cost, which we were prepared to pay), but he said there was nothing available]. given their attitude, we decided not to spend the extra money, particulary since the rooms weren't that great, and the bathrooms were ... old and rather used.. the place needs a .. refreshing.

Some things are misleading

Hotel is fine, rooms are clean, staff is nice,but some things in hotel description are misleading. Like, it's said that there is access to the private beach. Wrong! The beach is public, they don't have their own umbrellas and sun beds, so you have to pay for it (it's 5 euros per sun bed). Second-airport transportation. You might think that they have a shuttle or something. Wrong! What that means is that they call you a cab. That's it. Another thing- iron/ironing board on request. Wrong! They won't let you use the iron in your room for \"security reasons\". They will offer you their service, that you will have to pay for, of course. I didn't want to pay for it, didn't bring my own iron (which I regret now), so all my clothes was wrinkled.

Great location being near the port

Hotel is small, no wifi and in the lobby wifi is spotty. If you need to hop on a cruise it's perfect for a night or two but no longer

Nice hotel

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights. Location is good. Just across the road from the beach, easy walk into therhides Old Town. Breakfast was very good although when sitting near a window it was very warm. Pre dinner drinks were very reasonably priced.

Close to the beach, air conditioning is only activated with your room key. So after a long day in the sun you open the door to a pretty nasty, sticky hot room. Breakfast was nothing special, reminded me of a cheap Caribbean resort. Staff were friendly but nothing like a 4 or 5 star hotel.

Wouldn't recommend or stay here again

would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone else.
Didn't not provide us with the correct room as booked through hotels.com and when mentioned they couldn't do anything to make good but just brushed it off.
Additional to the above it should also be noted that their is -
Poor room service.
Unfriendly staff hotel
Long wait to check in close to 30mins
Uncomfortable beds and pillows
Very old and dated hotel compared to what stayed at on other Greek Islands.

Only good part was the bar and the friendly staff

only place in Greece that charges for Wi-Fi

Very surprising! Free Wi-Fi just in the lobby. To have it in the room it was paid and not cheap. It's probably the only place in Greece that charges for Wi-Fi. Otherwise, the hotel it's good, well located. The reception staff was not the friendliest. The breakfast was really good!
