Large free parking. Two restaurants across the street (we ate at the steakhouse and it was good). Clean, nice rooms. Very good breakfast. Hotel's lift is a litte odd (located outside main corridor in stairwell near stairs). Would stay again.

The pros: Mostly friendly staff. Clean renovated room although the HVAC system brings in a lot of dust. Access to heat or AC in the room was awesome. Safe parking. Great discounts at local restaurants.
The cons: The mattresses are horrendous and definitely need to be changed in the near future. No ice machine.

Convenient stop over in journey

The stay was a stop over on a longer journey, its location is just off the motorway in the commercial service centre.
It has a secure parking area with a card entry system.
Beware that for an evening meal there are the normal options in a retail area, ie Buffalo Grill, Burger King etc, in the town there are some nice restaurants, it is walkable to town but there are no taxi services in this small town.

Brits in the Brit Hotel.

We have stopped here several times. It is welcoming with friendly and helpful staff. From reception to the rooms, everything is clean and very tidy.

We’d definitely stay again

Modern and clean with good sized rooms. We had a family room which had two bedrooms plus a toilet separate from the shower room which is handy when you have teens! Good Wi-Fi and a handy halfway to the Alps. All looked new with a king size bed . It was really quiet so we all slept well. Kettle and fridge in the room which were appreciated and there is a lovely bakery 2mins drive away for a quick breakfast (although the hotel did do breakfast too)

We used this hotel as a one night stopover. It was spotlessly clean, efficient staff were always helpful and as it is on a retail park there were plenty of dining choices within walking distance. It is situated just off the motorway which was also very convenient plus pet friendly . I would highly recommend.

The room was clean and modern, the bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Sadly, the hotel was on a building site, as was the area into the centre, which wasn't very nice as we were there on holiday. There were a few standard restaurants nearby but the centre was disappointing and we were unable to get a taxi back from the centre which was strange!

However, I would recommend the hotel itself to others, but it is more suitable for business travellers than those on holiday.

Room was a good size and had tea / coffee making facilities, little cakes and bottled water. It was modern and clean and the breakfast was free for the children meaning that we all filled up for the day on €15. For the price we paid for a family room or was excellent value, especially given the weak pound. Only slight down was that the double bed in the room was a sofa bed.

Large bathroom with separate toilet that lacked hand - washing facility in spite of the fact that there was plenty of space for a hand basin..... baffling!
Reception staff disinterested and not customer focused. Got discount on a meal at the Pizza restaurant over the road. Awful service and terrible meal... don’t bother. Won’t be staying here again.

Excellent location for our stay

We stayed here as it was close to friends in Saint Dizier, quick access to the motorway, close to where we fishing. We arrived very late and check in was very easy (automated at the main entrance) and we used the room card to enter the car park.

The room was similar to a UK Premier Inn, clean and functional, the shower was very good and bathroom clean and in good condition. The toilet was separate to the shower and with no hand wash basin, so you had to go back to the showerroom.

The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows. Tea and coffee facilities were available, but there was no milk pods, we didn’t ask for any at reception, but i’m sure they would have helped if we had.

We didn’t have breakfast but did use the small bar area and the chap on reception was genuinely friendly and pleasant, he had also helped us with directions to the local supermarket and how to get the English Channel on the TV.

The room was fresh and clean everyday on our return and the housekeeping staff we meet each morning, we’re very friendly and wished us good morning.

We use Brit hotel (previously Balladins) most times we journey abroad. The rooms are excellent for an overnight stay, everything provided, including tea making facilities, which is a new, welcome addition. The shower & bathroom are also good, with plenty of towels. No sounds coming from other rooms, so must be sound proofed. Breakfast is also plentiful & varied, at a cost of £8 each, which in our experience is very reasonable & good value. Also secure parking

Great stay for a reasonable price

Check in was easy and Reception staff friendly and spoke some English which really helped.
Location was quiet and near to food outlets which gave discount to hotel guests, although we did not use them. Air-Con worked and bed was comfy and everything clean and fresh. Breakfast was of a good standard and overall we were very pleased and would recommend. Bonus was we were told we did not have to book out till 12:00.

Just a few hours from Calais which was practical when travelling from the UK. Very clean, tea/coffee/madeleines provided which was a lovely touch. Large comfortable room. Dogs welcome! Very close to a petrol station and ELeclerc supermarket. Good pizzeria just across the road. Perfect for overnight stay on the way elsewhere. Some aircraft noise as close to a French airbase but this was a free air show in the morning with a French fighter jet display! Would definitely recommend.

Convenient Overnight Stop

Stayed at this hotel overnight on my way back to the UK. The hotel is located in a retail park on the outskirts of St Dizzier close to a major road junction. My room was large, clean and comfortable with functioning wifi. There was a sizable secure and free car park next to the hotel and two or three places to eat within walking distance. From my perspective it was an ideal place to spend the evening as part of a longer trip and would use it again.

The staff at check in was amazingly helpful.
We had to have 3 rooms for a large family, mainly due to the fact that every person is an adult at this hotel :-(
Everywhere else we were ok with 2 rooms.

Nevertheless, the rooms were spotless. This maybe because everything seemed to be easy to clean plastic :-)

The wifi is brilliant, the location is great, close to shops and eateries.

secure locked car park, a must when you have a classic car or are very paranoid.
hotel air conditioned and spotlessly clean
plenty of places to eat on this area.

Friendly staff and really helpful. Room was very clean and air conditioning very welcome. Number 5 bus takes you into Annecy,staff happy to give a map and explain . We did get on the wrong bus coming back,but driver told us to stay on and drove us back to the correct bus stop, again really helpful. You really need to be able to go into Annecy for dinner,there's not much near the hotel except one fish restaurant.
