Our stay was very good. As we arrived they granted us with a room upgrade ( the hotel was not full) We had an issue with our matress that upon request they changed immediately. The hotel is confortable , the italian food we ate at dinner spectacular and the attendants very friendly . I recommend this hotel and if it happens i may stay there again

I was in room 328 and was so small I couldn’t walk around the bed, the curtains wouldn’t draw so I had light in my room all night. I asked if I could please have some milk for my tea and coffee, I had to go downstairs and get it myself from the bar on the rooftop. The room was clean but I don’t think worth the money I paid.

We booked our room roughly 10 minutes before arrival, so the only room left was the most affordable room so to say (advertising was extremely clear on what to expect) even then, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely wonderful to interact with every time and helped us out with questions we had regarding transportation/etc for other things we wanted to do in the area! Would definitely stay again due to the cleanliness, location and most importantly the wonderful hospitality

Very fairly priced hotel in the centre of Sorrento, within a 15 minute walk from the Port, although it’s always easier going down lol. The staff were very friendly and engaging, they have a nice rooftop pool for anyone wanting to soak up the sun and relax, as downtime from all the sight seeing.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise walking into this hotel. It was more than we expected, room was dated but always very clean so we didn’t mind at all. The staff felt like family by the end of our stay! Incredible central location. I will be recommending this place to anyone staying on the Amalfi coast! Thanks guys!!

Right after the front desk shift, there was another couple right next to us who had the same situation with this lady, and at 2:15 they went and ask the next shift in lobby and they gave us our rooms.

One thing that could change was the operating hours for the pool and jacuzzi, closing at six in the evening was not convenient to guests.

Wonderful suite with huge balcony (lovely view, including some sea and Vesuvius) and two ample bathrooms, one with plunge bath, one with large walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast and dining both in the restaurant and in the rooftop bar. Moderately busy area with nearby trains and buses with short walk to town centre with shopping and dining a-plenty, but Sorrento is not blessed with easily-accessible, good public beaches (but don't miss the cheap lift down to the harbours). The Grande Marina should not be missed.

Beautiful and clean property. The room is well kept and nice. The breakfast spread was amazing. The front desk staff need to work on their hospitality. Nobody helped us with moving the luggage in and out of the room . We requested for a blanket for the baby in the night and the staff told us they did not have a single blanket available in the entire hotel and denied to hand out a blanket which was very shocking to us!

Overall, excellent value. Bed was a bit too soft for my taste but I was still able to get a good night's rest. There's a bit of a outside noise but that ended about 10:30 pm on Thursday night. Centrally located to everything. Breakfast was very good. I recommend the hotel.

The staff was the best. We had reserved seats on our return train trip to Rome. Unfortunately, I made the reservation for the wrong date. A woman at the front desk,(Ana), spent a great deal of time on the phone with different people getting it straight for us. I can’t say enough good things about her. Everyone at the hotel was helpful. We stayed 7 nights. The hotel is centrally located, close to transportation, shopping and restaurants. Lucia in housekeeping and Francisco in the dining room were the best parts of this stay. The front end staff were rude and unfriendly.

Check in and check out was quick and easy. Breakfast options were also good. Room didn’t have iron. When we asked the front desk, they couldn’t provide any and said they are not sure where are the irons are since the changes/ renovation! Also bed was make but sheet wasn’t changed. I dropped food crumbs on the bed and the next day crumbs were still there after the bed was made.

Clean property close to the train and bus station. We were checked in right away (which was nice as we were tired from the trip) and placed in a \"large\", renovated room, away from the main street and the train tracks (but please know some of the rooms in this hotel are dated and overlook active train tracks. Our friends were placed in these rooms which was an unpleasant surprise). Unfortunately, from the moment we walked into our room we identified that the toilet was not working properly. We informed the front desk and the cleaning staff multiple times, but nothing was done about it. Needless to say our entire stay (10 days) we had to be strategic about when to use the toilet, as 2 people could not use it back to back; we had to keep the bathroom window open at all times, as there was an on and off sewerage smell; and had to listen to the toilet running non-stop (I guess this was extra motivation to not spend too much time in the room :). Another dissapointment was when we were told that the gift my local friend left for us at the front desk was lost. We did not even receive an apology. We are not sure if we arrived too early in the season (we visited in March which is considered off season) and they not ready for guests, if we simply got unlucky, or the quality of the hotel is not as advertised.

Hotel is rated as 4star but it is not. It is a 2.5-3 star at best. Weird layout where the pool is on floor 1 but towel and drinks on are on 5th floor. Broken mirror in room, sink stoppers not working, great selection of breakfast hot and cold. Coffee is awful! Coffee machine seems to have fresh beans but I could not hear grinding or anything like it. Regular coffee and cappuccino tastes like powdered coffee - instant Nescafe??

We had a lovely time at this hotel. Super close to the train station and the main square. Lots of food options steps away. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They helped book a shuttle to the airport as well as sent us off with a breakfast bag to go since it was so early. Wonderful full breakfast included was a nice bonus! Front desk staff also gave us tips for some really great spots!

I went out into the town and when my son came to hotel , the hitel staff refused to let him checkin until the total stay was paid upfront. He did not have this and had to wait until i returned

The stay was comfortable but had some areas that could improve. For example, the shower head didn’t work so we had to use the handheld shower head. The bathroom smelled like sewage on and off during our stay and the only iron on the property was available in the conference room. We had to take our clothing down stairs to floor 1, iron our clothes downstairs and bring it back up to the room. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I think they should at least have steamers in the rooms for guests that might be visiting there for a wedding or special occasion. Other than that staff was friendly -the 5th floor bar has a great view and the service there was great.

We loved our stay at Hotel Michelangelo! Close walking distance to the main piazza but far enough to where it’s much more quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. The two rooftop terraces and ground floor pool were perfect for relaxing during the day. Breakfast in the hotel had many options of great quality. Would recommend!

A short walk from the train station (less than 5 minutes) it was above expectations for what we were looking for during our stay in Sorrento. The staff was helpful and very friendly, we were on our honeymoon and they had a bottle of wine brought up to our room. It was close many restaurants and shops. We will definitely be returning when we come back to Sorrento again.

Loved the Hotel Michaelangelo! The property was quiet, the rooms were clean, and very close to the train station. The rooms we had both had a balcony looking out onto the courtyard. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. The front desk and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel as it is minutes away from the Sorrento train station, minutes from the airport bus transportation, right in the center of all great shopping and fabulous restaurants. It is 10 minutes walk to the marina for ferries to Amalfi, Positano, Capri etc.

This hotel is perfectly located to Sorrento main square. The staff are lovely and were so helpful. Breakfast had many options and it was delicious. The room was very clean and the shower had powerful hot water supply. I would stay again!

Perfect choice when in Sorrento
Fab hotel, near everything and was made to feel valued as a customer. Room we had was in its own little turret, so had more one either side or above as on the top floor, had 2 floors within as well so plenty of space and you could literally walk out and sit in the jacuzzi or at the bar within a few steps. Bar staff were brilliant and live music is on every other night. Perfect choice would 100% recommend
