Have stayed before, and stayed again this time, and would stay again. This tells you something. It's not anything flash, but it is 'clean' and comfortable. Ample off street parking. Reception was open this time, last time I used the self check in screen just to the left of the office (which also has a help number if needed). The location is good too, 3 min walk to the Moe railway Station & Moe Pub. Good pizza place 3 min walk, plus you can cross over the railway line into the main town area. All very easy. If you are looking for a reasonable cost motel in Moe, STAY HERE !

The check-in procedure was excellent, with the key being held in a secure 'hole in the wall' that was released when a credit card was swiped for the $100 refundable deposit.
The lady I spoke to about my booking was very polite, accommodating in her phone manner and was very helpful.
I initially stayed 2 nights, but after I checked out I decided to stay one more night. I rang reception and was told the room I had the previous 2 nights would be held for me.
I was disappointed that the only 'servicing' of the room was that fresh towels were provided; the bins were still full, a used coffee cup was still on a bench and no cleaning had been done.
My main negative observation was how dated the room was. The carpet was worn and the bathroom was badly in need of updating.
On the positive side, the room was quiet and peaceful, the shower was excellent, with heaps of water pressure and it was easy to stream YouTube to the TV.
The tariff was very reasonable and the quality of the room was inline with my expectations for the cost.

I've stayed at this motel a few times before and I usually find it difficult to check in but this time it was very easy. The key to easy check in is to supply your credit card details to the operator beforehand.
One good thing was that the Test Cricket was on the Fox while I was there and I was able to watch for an hour before I went out without having to deal with the adfest on the commercial channel. I was out between six and nine thirty and when I returned it was still on. How good is that?
Everything else was fine; the shower was hot and strong; the tea bag tea was refreshing and the bed comfortable. What else could you want?

Our bed made a noise every time we turned over, there was a noise outside our room on and off all night. We were very disappointed to find the milk in the fridge had been opened and used and not replaced. The floor had bugs on it and the place was not clean, sheets on the bed had holes pillow case cover was torn.

I was alarmed when I drew up to the property as it was so shabby and deserted looking. No staff, just a machine to check in. I felt too frightened to stay there initially, it eventually was able to contact the after hours number who assured me I’d be OK. The room was adequate and the sheets seemed clean, however shabby overall. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anyone else.

Comfortable, well-equipped motel

Moe Motor Inn is very comfortable and has all the facilities you could want, including a microwave and bowls, plates and cutlery for 2 people. A fridge/freezer is provided. The only downside to mention is that the shower, which is a large walk-in shower suitable for the less able, does not have any grab rails and the floor becomes a bit slippery during use. The early check in at 12 noon was appreciated.

Through no fault of the owner, it was a little noisy. Could here dramas with people on the phone outside our room . A little scary. Room was roomy and very nice. Stair case was rather dirty and pot plants coukd use a little attention. Bed was comfortable and shower was terrific.

I booked on line and paid. I did not know when I arrived I had to pay another $100 for security deposit. No one in office it’s done all over the phone. Got a key from a machine. Bed spreads were both so dirty I pulled them off the beds. And the matching pillows. Sheets were clean. Heater didn’t work, it was cold so lucky it had electric blankets. Bathroom was clean, floors were clean. Very disappointed with heater and bedding. I did take photos.

The Pool was filthy and you could not swim, the lighting was minimal and what lights there were lwere very dim in the rooms. Good pressure in the shower. No map or any literature to find your way around Moe in the rooms considering that most of the time the office is shut and there is only self check in it seems for a lot of the Time. Gone down hill a bit used to be quite good. Disappointed!

It was a good base for a stay in Moe. Property was old and a bit run down but room was comfortable.
Property doesn't have any laundry facilities but launderette across the road was very handy.
Close walk to local hotel for a good meal.
Computer check-in system was unexpected. It was impersonal but did the job.

We picked this property as we are a family with kids and the entertainment said a smart tv with premium channels, digital channels and Netflix. The tv was unusable with no aerial and was not connected to the internet with no way of connecting it to the internet and the property had no staff on site at all. They had a number you can call for assistance but they said they do not help with the tv in their welcome message.
There is also no room service as stated in their ad. There was no working air con as stated in the ad (lucky we didn’t need it), and the only heating was an oil heater which was not enough to fill such a big space. Pretty disappointing all around.
