Very clean room and bathroom. The hot water is great and water pressure also pretty good. The little heater takes quite a while to warm up the room on a cold day. The bigger old school heater/air con unit works but was just blowing out cold air, which is probably why they have installed the newer small units. The sound of the trucks in the night is quite loud but I didn't mind. I have white noise on at night for my toddler and I could still hear the trucks over it. My only negatives are that I asked for a 1 bed room so that my toddler would have more room to play, and I was given a 2 bed room; and also there was a bit of mould in the freezer, so I'm guessing that doesn't get cleaned very often.

Definitely 10/10 for the hotel. Clean, neat and lovely staff. Lots of power sockets to charge phones and laptops. Microwave was a bonus. Only downside was the constant trucks whizzing past at 100km an hour. Sounded like earthquake tremors. Not the Hotel's fault that truckies won't slow down in town at 1am. Would stay here again despite the truck noise.

The room and shower were clean and the TV a good size. Ample dining options within 5km of the motel. The only thing I did not like was the proximity to the main road and the noise from trucks going past. But it would appear the other motels nearby would not have been any different. Overall, for the price, I would be happy to stay again.

Was an awesome experience from the get go!! I accidentally booked the wrong dates and the gentleman at the reception quickly resolved the problem without question or hesitation. I entered my room to be welcomed by an immaculate room, the room was cleaned to perfection. Modern, extremely clean and spacious bathroom with a shower that had water pressure that could knock your socks off. Will definitely be staying here next time I'm working in the area again.

The inn was pleasantly more comfortable and homey than I had expected. It had amenities that were helpful like cups, glasses, saucers and silverware. The mini fridge also had a freezer and there was a toaster and microwave along with a hot water kettle which made it easy to prepare a simple breakfast.

The shower was amazing! The water pressure was strong and the water very hot
which was a bonus after a day’s worth of hiking.

Quiet and close location to the Grampians/Halls Gap without having to be amongst the crowds. A 4 minute drive into town gets you to the supermarket and food shops which also makes it a great location.

Luckily we had some fruit with us as the local cafe was overflowing on the Sunday morning which led us to drive 25km to Ararat for breakfast. Just done small cereal packs and an extra milk would’ve been appreciated

I have stayed here a number of times and it’s always very clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and the small bowl of sweets in the fridge are a great touch. The motel is on the highway But you don’t even notice any traffic noise. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely owners who went over and above to make me feel comfortable. Very comfortable and large room which was cleaned and remade every day. Great location with a lovely local cafe across the road with amazing egg/bacon sandwich! Lovely stay while I was in Stawell, knowing that I had a nice big comfy room to come back to each night!

Nice hotel on the highway. We were working night shift so sleeping during the day. The hotel manager knew this was the case so he approached us and specifically stated he would keep the noise down during the day. During the week we were there he mowed the lawn twice, used his blower everyday and worked on his boat parked outside our room.
I would not recommend this hotel for anyone working night shift in the area as the noise is ridiculous if you’re trying to sleep during the day.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of our room.However we found the mattress very hard and that, together with the traffic noise during the night, caused problems for us with sleeping. Because of this I couldn't recommend this very pleasant motel to family or friends.

Where you have a good sleep

Usually not expecting too much from rural town motel but this one is amazing.
Room and toilet are tidy and clean like a hotel standard.
Receptionist is friendly and helpful.
It is our second time putting a night in this motel and it is still satisfying.
Give a lower score on the Local area only because we didn't do anything over there. But it has nothing to do with the motel's performance.

Don't let Coorabin's plain and traditional appearance deceive you, as the room was a pleasant surprise! Its condition was very new, or just super well-maintained. Nice little touches of free lollies and paper-wrapped glasses were much appreciated. Great value and will definitely stop by again!

One of the best low cost motels I have experienced.
Very clean updated bathroom, comfortable bed and best of all 2 chairs with a coffee table to sit and relax. Yes it’s on the highway so there is truck noise but it’s not too noticeable inside the room and didn’t affect sleep.
I would definitely recommend this motel.

We were surprised and pleased with the space and accommodations. Our room included a queen bed, three twin beds, a dining table and a couch as well as kitchenette complete with chocolates in the fridge. Tim offered to drive us to the restaurant down the road, however after a long drive we thought we’d stretch our legs. We started to walk it started to rain, but Tim appeared and gave us a lift the rest of the way. And came back to pick us up. Great service above and beyond the call of duty we really appreciated it.
