Afgelopen herfstvakantie twee dagen met mijn kindjes gelogeerd in de familiekamer van Hotel De Torenhoeve. Wij verbleven in de familiekamer met stapelbed en uitzicht op de binnentuin met buitenzwembad. De kamer was schoon maar maakte een gedateerde indruk. Zo was de badkamer voorzien van prima sanitair, maar was het lichtbad voorzien van een ouderwets douchegordijn. Iets dat je niet direct meer verwacht bij een vier sterrenhotel in Nederland Anno 2024. Eigenlijk gold dit in zekere zin voor het hele hotel dat wel een renovatie/revitalisatie kan gebruiken. Niet de min kent het hotel ook haar positieve punten. Zo ligt het hotel in een prachtige rustige omgeving met op nog geen 10 minuten lopen een breed strand en erg mooi duinggebied. Ook doet het vriendelijke personeel hun uiterste best om het de gasten naar de zin te maken en was het ontbijt prima. Al met al hebben wij ons uitstekend vermaakt

Locatie perfect

Hotel de Toenhoeve is qua ligging prachtig. Vuurtoren in je achtertuin!.
In 12 minuten loop je door stukje bos met privé bungalows en over de duinen naar het strand. Daar is een strandpaviljoen (de strandloper), welke toen tot 20.00 uur open was.

Het hotel zelf is redelijk gedateerd en vrij gehorig.
Ontbijt was goed maar niet bijzonder.

Zwembad was ‘s morgens vroed al geopend en werd ook gebruikt.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, Kamer was netjes en schoon. Het ontbijt was goed, maar ééntonig. Het diner dat we in het restaurant gegeten hebben, was voortreffelijk. Jammer dat het restaurant alleen op vrijdag en zaterdag open was.
Groot pluspunt: de lounge waar je gratis koffie en thee kon krijgen en mee naar je kamer kon nemen. Omgeving was mooi en rustig. Zeker een aanrader, omdat prijs/kwaliteit verhouding erg goed was.

We hebben van een mooi en vriendelijk driedaags verblijf genoten. We hebben ons in de Torenhoeve thuis gevoeld. Het warme familiegevoel van iedereen verantwoordelijk voor de goede werking, heeft een diepe indruk op ons gemaakt.
Kortom de logistieke omkadering was perfect. Ook de natuur heeft zijn deel in dit mooie verhaal. De ligging van het hotel midden in het groen is een verademing voor mensen uit en drukke stad.
Het hotel is dus een aanrader en zeker ook voor een divers publiek.
We hebben al plannen voor een volgende keer.

Rustige ligging vlakbij de vuurtoren

Prima hotel met een leuk restaurant. We hebben lekker gegeten en de prijs is okay. De inrichting van de kamer is gedateerd, maar het is wel schoon. Super is dat je te voet binnen 10 minuten op het strand bent.

Tolle Lage und familienfreundliches Hotel

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern nun zum dritten Mal hier. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Der Service ist freundlich, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und schmeckt gut. Die Lage ist sehr gut! Für die Kinder gibt es ein Spielzimmer! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Personal war sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich.Nach Bedarf konnte man täglich frische Handtücher bekommen.Zimmer sauber und Frühstück ausreichend und vielseitig (Obst,Joghurt,Brötchen,Aufschnitt,....)
Lediglich die Qualität der Matratzen im Doppelbett lies etwas zu wünschen übrig und auch die Größe des Schrankes war für ein Familienzimmer definitiv zu klein.
Lage fantastisch ,nur ca. 5 Minuten zum Meer.

Geweldige omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Kleine kamer met slechte matrassen. Ontbijt was basic, maar verzorgd. Hotel is verouderd, maar straalt charme uit.
