Very handy just across the road from the beach. Not the type of beach we are used to as it was only 5 people deep and everyone had a parassol. We just popped in for a swim now and again and rinsed off and sat by the pool.

Great location across from the beach. Room was small but very comfortable and had a nice balcony with an ocean view. the restaurant was nice and breakfast above average. staff was professional and very helpful. the only item to note is limited parking. the first night i had to park a block away and walk to the hotel, 2nd day i was able to secure a spot on the property. Overall a great choice and value. I would stay there again. the photo is of the actual room i had with the balcony.

We booked 4 nights at Rio Buzios Hotel in January 2016.
The pros:
* Room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable.
The cons:
* The biggest negative was that we (as a gay couple) felt uncomfortable staying at this hotel. We are both well travelled and have stayed at many, many places globally and in Brazil where we have been made to feel completely at ease. This was not one of those places! There was a general feeling of not being welcome, particularly with the night staff on reception at the hotel. On one evening we invited a friend of ours who was travelling with us and staying at a neighbouring hotel to come for a drink on our balcony. We received a phone call from reception which made us feel like criminals and very bluntly asked us to remove our guest from the premisses. For the rest of our stay at the hotel we received \"dodgy\" looks from hotel staff who made us feel extremely uncomfortable. As a result result we ended up leaving two days early without even requesting a refund. The hotel staff did not ask why we were leaving early. By comparison, the room next to us had a party with 4 visitors in their room until midnight. We complained but the hotel staff did nothing about it, simply telling us that they are \"Russian\" - apparently that (as well as being straight) makes it ok. (The staff did not verify that the party goers next door were guests).
* I would go on to mention the terrible tours that the hotel pushed on us, but I am out of characters!!

Foram dias incríveis. Hotel fantástico, piscina maravilhosa, funcionários diligentes. Não tive nenhum pedido que não foi atendido. Quarto espaçoso e confortável. O lugar, mesmo no Carnaval, é de uma paz incrível. Espero um dia voltar.

Foi excelente, porém achei os funcionários da segurança muito exigentes sem um pouco de paciência com horários etc , afinal estávamos passeando e merecíamos um pouco mais de atenção e instruções aliviando um pouco quanto ao tempo de piscina, sauna, etc. Outra coisa o restaurante para jantar muito fraco.

Alguns pontos foram muito ruins: a água no chuveiro era de morna para fria, faltavam tomadas no quarto (tivemos que pedir um extensão) pois a tomada ficava atrás do movél (criado-mudo). O café da manhã tinha poucas opções. Porém o que deixa desejar são os quiosques em frente ao hotel, tocando música com alto volume, cada um uma música, o que causa muito desconforto. Praticamente ocupam a praia inteira, sem local para clocar uma esteira ou cadeira. E por último o hotel \"cobra\" R$ 5,00 pelo \"aluguel\" da cadeira. Pelo nível do hotel deveria ser de graça, ou estar incluído na diária.

Paraíso em Buzios
Passamos dias incríveis em Buzios, de frente para a praia de João Fernandes e bem próximo de outras praias e pontos da cidade. O quarto era maravilhoso, com uma varanda de frente para a praia que ja vale a estadia. Os funcionários muito gentis e atenciosos nos deixaram bem a vontade em todos os momentos.

Equipe do cafe da manhã ausente, pois estavam preparando quentinhas para um grupo de hospedes. Bar da piscina desativado. Muita gente trabalhando na recepção e poucas para servir os hospedes. Piscina sem informações sobre a profundidade violando a Lei. Hotel não aceita que visitantes do hospede frequentem as partes comuns do hotel mesmo que o mesmo esteja vazio e não informa no momento da reserva ou check in. Hotel inflexivel e nada cordial.

Estiloso, agradável, bom cafe da manha e restaurante de 'suporte' conforme necessidade. Embora vale notar que os quartos estão voltados para piscina, rua ou estacionamento, de forma que no terreo as janelas acabam ficando fechadas.

Os funcionários estão de parabéns. A recepção sempre foi super atenciosa e simpática, liguei algumas vezes antes da hospedagem e sempre fui super bem atendida. Tudo o que precisei durante a estadia eles providenciaram. Tenho dificuldade de dormir em ambientes claros, eles colocaram um black out de plástico que deixou o quarto escuro evitando que a luz solar me acordasse. Fiquei super satisfeita. Super indico!

O hotel tem um excelente atendimento, funcionários ótimos, super prestativos, a único coisa que tenho como ponto negativo, foi o quarto que me colocaram, 2008, muito pequeno, sem tomadas,(só tinha 1 tomada para carregar o telefone no banheiro, e como estava eu e meu noivo, só tinha como carregar 1 telefone) parece que foi um cômodo adaptado para ser quarto. Tinha tudo no quarto, só o espaço bem pequeno e estranho. Mas no geral gostei muito do hotel, só não ficaria de novo nesse quarto.

A localização do hotel e ótima, em frente à praia. A área da piscina é excelente e a água estava quentinha, acredito ser aquecida, o que ajudou mt pois estamos no inverno! O café da manhã poderia ser melhor. Não tem muitas opções quentes e nem de cozinha.
Me ofereceram berço pra minha bebê, mas quando cheguei no hotel vi que na verdade era um cercadinho sem opção de levantar o colchão, então ela teve que dormir no carrinho, é bom deixar isso claro para quem precisa de berço, pois o que o hotel tem não é berço.
Em geral a estadia foi boa e o hotel cumpriu com nossas expectativas!

Atendimento ruim da recepção
Hotel bom, mas compramos o romantic double room no site por ter uma vista melhor e quando chegamos la nos colocaram em um quarto inferior dizendo que esse quarto que compramos não existia. Entretanto, de dentro do quarto que estávamos conseguimos identificar qual deveria ser o nosso quarto. Ao reclamar na recepção, praticamente nos disseram que fariam o favor de nos colocar nesse quarto e que tivemos sorte porque o hospede que estava lá havia desistido de ficar mais dias. Se a nossa reserva foi feita com bastante antecedência, nem deveriam ter colocado outro hospede com expectativa de ficar pelo período que estaríamos la.
Tirando o inconveniente do pessimo atendimento da recepção, o restaurante é bom, a piscina bem limpa e fornecem toalhas para a praia.

Passamos dias incríveis nesta pousada. Linda, moderna, muito bem localizada. Um convite ao relaxamento. Da piscina até o banho de mar na maravilhosa praia de João Fernandes, estávamos a pouquíssimos passos. Café da manhã gostoso, restaurante com preço justo.
Ficamos na suíte 2011, linda, confortável e com uma vista deslumbrante da piscina e do mar. Iremos voltar! 👌😉

Adoramos a estadia no hotel, que é super bem localizado, em frente à praia de João Fernandes. Fomos a pé todos os dias até a rua das pedras e aos restaurantes locais. A comida do hotel é ótima e o café da manhã bem farto de frutas, sucos, ovo, tapiocas e demais itens como pães e bolos pra os que gostam. Algumas observações podem ser feitas pra melhoria do atendimento, mas eu já as sugeri à gerência. Certamente eu me hospedaria de novo!
