The location is perfect, very convenient while still feeling private and peaceful. Everything was spotless and so well maintained, and the breakfast was top notch every single morning. The staff are some of the kindest and sweetest people we’ve ever met. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We 100% recommend Ketei Hotel to anyone visiting Santorini, and we’ll definitely be returning on our next trip!

The good: Location and views. Breakfast was very good, made to order and fresh. Excellent French press coffee. So many stairs to the hotel but this is typical for the area. Prepare for a workout - we went in August and were drenched in sweat every day. Rooms were roomy, lovely and clean. Shower is perfect and had excellent water pressure. The only issue is that around Fira hotels, there are lots of mules and they poop everywhere! I stepped in some twice. Nothing against the hotel but you should be on the lookout. Also I can’t stress enough about the stairs and steep climbs walking around Fira. I consider myself rather fit and it was a bit of an adjustment for me (maybe because it was end of August). Finally, the hotel pool was minuscule although the views from the pool area were unmatched. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay here again!

Lovely small hotel. Very nice people. Breakfast was made to order and excellent with lots of options. Very good location in Thira. Was kind of hard to find and lots of stairs to get there so don’t take a heavy suitcase. We took a taxi from airport but should have used the hotel transportation because wouldn’t have had to carry our own luggage and they would have taken us there instead of us getting lost on our own. Sunset views from there were amazing- no need to go anywhere else

This place was amazing during our honeymoon! The staff arranged our transportation from/back to the port (which I highly recommend using), and they helped us with our bags to/from our room. The room itself was beautiful and clean, and the view of the caldera is breathtaking. The photos can’t even do it justice! We spent many hours by the private pool looking out over the ocean. The hotel is also a super close walk to the main areas for restaurants and shopping, although be prepared for lots of stairs. As a bonus, the breakfast was amazing each day! I would highly recommend this place, and we would love to come back some day.

Fabulous stay at the Keti, cannot praise them enough. All the staff went over and above to help us. The rooms were really nice and the most amazing view you could imagine of the Caldera without the enormous price tag. It’s not really suitable for people with mobility issues due to the amount of stairs. The hotel is tucked away making it very private and away from the noise of Fira but literally 5 mins walking distance making it the ideal location. It’s worth while using the transfers the hotel offers as they meet you at the top of the steps and help you with your luggage. We tipped the guy as it was a great help and a lot of stairs for him to carry luggage. Definitely recommend this little gem.

AMAZING STAY!
We had the most unbelievable stay here. It truly exceeded our expectations. The hosts was so welcoming and had out room ready before check in. The views from the pool, our room and the breakfast area is unreal. The place was clean, spacious and beautiful. The washroom was large and the shower had hot water. Even the washroom had a window with a crazy view of the ocean. The fridge was cold and AC worked well. The hotel was nice a quiet, there were other guests but everyone was respectful and we often had the shared pool to ourselves which was so lovely. Breakfast was great, we had a large selection and you put your order in the day before so it's ready for you when you arrive to eat. The beauty of Keti is that it is towards one side of Fira which allows for such spectacular views of Fira itself from the hotel, you get to see all the white buildings from your room and the pool. The location is also amazing right in the heart of Fira just a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. If we're back in Santorini we will no doubt be back at Keti.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel! The views are unmatched and we were very well situated on the caldera. It was also walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and the supermarket on the main road. Our room was very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the many options offered. The receptionist was also welcoming and was helpful with any questions that we had and even packed us lunches in advance for the day that we were leaving as we had a very early checkout (6 AM). Only con is if you have an early checkout, be prepared to walk up many stairs (10 minutes) up to the main road with your luggages.

The room was very nice, a cave room as it is called. It was perfectly comfortable and fully equipped. The patio outside of the room provided amazing views of the caldron. We were on the edge. We could see the side of Fira and Oia in the distance. It was a walk down and up to get to the hotel but it was worth every step and their porter carried our bags in and out. We felt like we were in a postcard.

Our 2 night stay at Keti was ideal. The view was amazing -- we had a panorama of the town and the water. The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was simple but comfortable and felt very cozy on an extra windy day.
This is Santorini, and part of having an amazing view of the caldera means walking down a lot of stairs. We only had small backpacks, but someone who was less mobile might have trouble. The Keti staff are upfront about the walk down to them -- please heed that and dont blame them for problems that are not their fault. Stay somewhere more central.

The best hotel experience for non-five star luxury hotels. Friendly, professional, courteous, nicest, etc. staff starting wìth Yiannis the front desk manager and his kitchen staff, who provided delicious full breakfast. Great value for the buck/euro. Awesome scenary and rooms. Except for daily hiking up the stairs, Keti should be considered five star hotel for those traveling on budget. We had a wonderful time!!!

Everyone was very friendly, only issue we ran into was the parking situation with our rental car, fighting for spots in a public lot during peak times. Otherwise, perfect stay and will come back next time we're in Santorini.

We enjoyed 4 nights stay in this small, quiet hotel, with friendly staff (helpful but respectful of our privacy), great walkable location, and stunning views.

This staff is super friendly and really made us feel at home. The breakfast overlooking the caldera was unbelievable. Views you can’t beat and the room was nice and clean. There are a lot of steps as you would expect for a hotel positioned on the side of a cliff. Lots of shops/bars/restaurants in walking distance. Definitely recommend doing a food and wine tour was a lot of fun.

Pay the $25 (2 people) shuttle from the airport to the hotel. It's super worth it. They carry your luggage down the long stairs to the hotel. We appreciated it so much that we booked it for the airport return, which meant they carried our bags up those long steps to the shuttle.

Our two favorites were the eggs-tomato-feta and yogurt-honey-sliced fruit. Best yogurt in Greece! I need to know what brand they used.

We loved hotel keti! The view was absolutely insane. It felt peaceful as we never heard or saw our neighbors except for during breakfast. The ONLY downside was that the wifi never worked despite having the concierge check it and say it was working just fine. Otherwise we have zero complaints. Please note the twin beds feel a bit short- I am only 5’4” and my feet felt like they were falling off sometimes!

While Fira can get loud, this place is so far from everything that you don't hear much.
My only suggestion is for them to improve their wifi which is a double edge sword as it allows you to enjoy your stay without accessing technology while when you need wifi for trip planning, it doesn't work. With that said, the staff were so helpful across the board.

we absolutely loved our stay! the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in arranging transfers to/from the airport. due to covid they served breakfast a la carte on the patio and i can’t imagine it any other way, such a peaceful and beautiful way to start the morning. the rooms were clean and comfortable and our bathroom was lovely with a very nice rainfall shower head. the view from our sitting area outside the room was amazing, we never wanted to leave.

pros- beautiful, clean hotel located right in the heart of Fira overlooking the Caldera! The beauty of the place makes all negative experiences disappear. Front desk manager/owner Yanis is so hospitable and pleasant and informative. the staff was amazing and friendly too! breakfast was fresh and good options.

The views of Fira and the caldera were exceptional and we had amazing sunset and night views when we were there. Of course being built into the side of a cliff means there are a lot of steps to negotiate but that is the uniqueness of the design of this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful.

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Hotel Keti during our honeymoon. The staff was amazing and helped set up multiple excursions through companies they have had good experience and had the porter help us with our bags at 3:00 am for our flight home.
The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to all of the action in Fira, but far enough away that there was no noise in the room. There are stairs Santorini everywhere and the more private the room, the lower down the steps from the lobby you are. This hotel sits out away from other hotels on the cliff it's built so there is significantly more privacy if you stay in one of the king suites.
The king suite we had (the one without the rock) probably had the most private hot tub in Fira due to the way the hotel is situated. The hot tub was warm in the evening but not hot. It was very comfortable to spend two hours in watching the sunset which was amazing from the private hot tub. So much so that we couldn't justify going out to dinner when the sunset from our room wasn't worth missing. I think the private tubs circulated colder water in the daytime, so it was much cooler, but not quite as cool as the hotel pool in the heat of the day.
I was a little concerned with the pictures of the hotel pool, but they did not do it justice. The view from the edge of that pool is phenomenal and there was never more than 2 other people at any time. Overall our stay at Hotel Keti could not have been better.

We loved everything about Hotel Keti but especially the view. The view was one of the best in Santorini.

Location, location, location. Hotel Keti is in a fabulous location in Fira; it was steps away from everything we wanted to do and see. Unfortunately, the hotel was otherwise unworthy of the price we paid. We had ants in our food (no, we did not bring any food into our room), the once-white towels were gray and worn, the “hot” items at breakfast were ice cold, and we had no hot water on our final day. Overall, given all of the negatives we experienced, I would not recommend this hotel, despite its location.

Amazing stay! Everyone was warm and helpful and we had an enjoyable time in a gorgeous spot! Also was a stunning spot to catch the sunset! Room was soundproof and the private balcony was great! If I had to be really picky then we'd have loved a queen bed but we knew it was a double when we booked. Very close to the bus station (after you climb the stairs!) although we took the private transport on arrival to get help with bags and help finding the hotel!

An Amazing Room
We booked a suite with outdoor spa. I believe there are 2 of these. We had the one that not only faces the sea, but also has views of the town. This was an amazing room and view and may be one of the best rooms in the town. The staff was very helpful with bookings and options for things to see. The breakfast is good with just enough options. If you don't like steps, you are visiting the wrong town, and you will be going up and down no matter where you stay. The only slightly annoying thing was the privacy wall from the other suite was a bit short and it felt like when ever a guest would come down the stairs, they were forced to look at us sitting in the spa, and that raising this wall even a foot would add quite a lot of privacy.
