Loved the ambience of this house filled with so many period features. Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up.
A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better.

A delightful Guest House with wonderful hosts

Our stay was superb. The hosts, Lindy and David were very friendly, interesting conversationalists who provided nice touches like a bottle of champagne, delicious cheese plate with accompanying nuts, dried apricots and crackers and very enticing pinot noir and chardonnay options for pre dinner.

Breakfast was hearty and fresh and wandering through the gardens in early autumn was good for the soul.

We will return again - and book all 4 spacious rooms for a weekend away with friends.

At 5 pm, they invite all guests for complimentary wine, cheese, and crackers which was a lovely touch. The place itself is cool and stylish, and breakfast in their fancy dining room was delicious (this was also included). David and Lindy are kind, friendly hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel at home during your stay. The service they provide is exceptional, far above average. The stylish rooms have a great selection of books, perfect for bookworms. We highly recommend this place and would definitely go back again.

We had such a great stay at The Laurels. We only booked on night to stay after a wedding we attended, but once we arrived we were so bummed we didn't book more!! The hosts are so lovely and you actually get a fantastic breakfast cooked to your specifications! We had some time overlapped with the other guests during breakfast so we got to chat and get to know them.

The room itself was so lovely, again, wishes we had booked more time! It's so thoughtfully designed and It's super quiet and loads greenery around you.

What an experience and honor it was to stay with Lindy and David.
We had the most amazing time visiting the Kangeroo Valley for a wedding and our accommodation was one of the highlights of the trip! Lindy and David were so welcoming and did an amazing job taking care of us for the weekend. Words really can't describe how amazing our experience was staying with them. The accommodation was beautiful the service and breakfast was outstanding and to be completely honest, I was very sad to leave!
We will be back. I have already recommended the Laurels BNB to so many people due to our fantastic experience. Thank you again Lindy and David for a wonderful home away from home, we will be back soon.

Hands down one of the best properties we've stayed at and we travel a lot! Old world charm and a real BnB, the hosts went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, complimentary champagne to have with our bubble bath, beds were big and cosy and the breakfast was amazing. The building is steeped in history, and the super interesting and friendly hosts can tell you all about it. We will most definitely stray here again the next time we need to escape the city for a relaxed country getaway.

If you want to stay at the best b&b ever then book a room here. It's more than a b&b though.. Really one of the best accommodations I've stayed at and I've been to a few of them when I worked as a travel agent for high-end customers.

After we checked in we decided within minutes to stay for an extra night since our plans were wide open. Not sure how many hours we spent in their garden and in our room's bathtub but I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed. Didn't want it to end.
