The room was very tiny, but was clean and quiet. We couldn’t sleep because of the heat. It was extremely hot for beginning of April. No air conditioning. Bed and pillow (only one very thin) were not comfortable. No bedside table. Only one bench to put our things. There was no soap in the shower and nothing on which to put our own soap and shampoo. Open shower with no privacy. No hooks or shelves in the toilet closet to hang clothes while changing. Breakfast is included but, not the best. Oatmeal was a few days old, scrambled eggs were stiff and the fruit salad tasted rotten. Hotel central and walkable. Staff helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel building was modern and clean and the staff were very helpful when we needed them. The room itself was quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. The AC in the room worked very well and we all got a good nights sleep. One feature that was a little annoying was the lack of a towel hook in the toilet meaning that one had to go to another room to dry one’s hands. The hotel location was perfect. It was walking distance to everything we needed and there are lots of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

This is my fourth visit to Budapest. The hotel is in a great location. The staff, namely Sophie and Gabor were professional, attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Reception arranged both our transfers. Even though we had an hours delay and then spent 75 mins queuing for passport control on a Saturday morning the taxi driver was still there waiting for us! Bathroom shower area could do with a bit more privacy but I would stay here again.

I would definitely stay at the H2 Hotel Budapest again. It was conveniently located for just about everything! Lots of dining options nearby and really walkable. The room was clean and well set up. It was not luxurious but definitely excellent value for the price point. Breakfast was very average, poorly set up, and the staff seemed indifferent to the guests, but that was the one complaint in an otherwise excellent stay.

The room was nice however the hotel only seems to run on 1 HVAC and the front desk told us the hotel can only be on heating or cooling not both. The room was so hot during our stay we had a hard time sleeping…the breakfast was okay however we wished they had more options available. The hotel also doesn’t offer any extra amenities like lotion, toothbrushes etc which was also a disappointment. The staff was nice, the hotel was clean and the area surrounding was great lots of restaurants nearby. During our last day though there was construction going on around the hotel that caused a power outage and we had to walk up 6 floors of stairs to get to our room and then 6 floors down with all our heavy luggage due to the elevators being out because of the power outage and the staff didn’t offer any type of help which was super disappointing. Not sure we would rebook this hotel next time we come.

Excellent hotel! I would come back in a heartbeat. The only thing I’d suggest is that they try to fit a small bedside table into the room. We used a large window sill and made it work, and I know other room categories don’t have this issue. It was great!

The hotels location is good. Walkable distance to most of the attraction. There are a lot of good restaurants around the neighborhood. The room was clean but no refrigerator and kind of small. There was only one chair in the room. We had no place to sit, relax and do our own things. This is the only thing I dont like about the hotel.

Pros: We arrived early, the staff was very helpful in finding us a room. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast has lots variety. We truly like the central location and modern design of the hotel room.
Con’s: No in room safe. No coffee/tea maker, we asked for a hot water kettle but have to buy team bags. The shower door is transparent so feel lack of privacy when taking shower while another person is in the room.
