The stay was great. The service was excellent. First 2 nights we had a room next to construction building (next door building) which was noisy in the morning. We asked the stuff to change the room and they got us straightforward a better room in the opposite side of the hotel. Moreover, the hotel neighborhood is one of the best in Barcelona. A lot of restaurants near by and shops, and accessible transport to everywhere around.

Very efficient service. Never ever had to wait for anyone to serve me at reception and I know the hotel was full. Nothing was a problem. Had a room with virtually no natural light as my window looked onto a tiny 2.5m square 'courtyard' and being on the first floor hardly any light got to the bottom. Not really a problem as rarely spent any time in the room apart from sleeping.

Cozy hotel at the heart of the city. Very close to bars and cafés and restaurants. Extremely friendly staff, and the rooms were comfy enough. The only issue that I see is that, although they offer free water as much as you need to drink, the warers are in plastic bottles. So I assume 10s of thousands of plastic bottles will be used by the guests every year. If they can add a sort of water cooler somewhere in the lobby, and then the guests can get the water in a glass bottle every time they need, that may resolve that issue as well.

The hotel 'felt' European, e.g.space in a somewhat small room was laid out efficiently and was clean; glass half-partition to turn the tub into a shower, breakfast options mostly continental but also included scrambled eggs and breakfast meats. Hotel staff were courteous, quickly arranging taxi service that I desired, answering my questions, etc.. Walking was convenient, with good access to public transportation. I found plenty of walking distance options for food.
On my final night, guests in a nearby room had a bit of a row at 2:30 AM. I suppose this is to be expected on occasion, but is not something I normally experience at a hotel.
If I had been on a business trip, I would have wanted a gym at the facility. Whether or not I am on a business trip, I use a laptop, and would have liked more comfortable seating at the desk in the room.

Everything was great except I couldn’t snuggle when laying down as our bed was made of 2 full size beds which means you couldn’t lay in the middle of the bed because the springs of the two end beds made it painful :( aside from that, it was good. Hotel is located at a good location (central Barcelona). There’s couple night clubs right downstairs, so if you want to party, this is the hotel to book. But if you want quiet and up dated hotels, don’t book here. The room was small, old and noisy.
