Room was spacious and really clean. Toiletries were lovely and great if you haven’t brought your own.
Location was excellent, out of the hustle and bustle but a 10 min walk away from busier areas.
The we encountered were fine, but one lady was clearly training so things were a lot slower.
Would have been nice to have the tea and coffee restocked on our second day but we went to reception and they were happy to provide us with extra.

I am not sure if it's due to the heating in the bathroom or the heavy weather, there was too much condensation and water was collecting at the bathroom window. Not a trouble, but may a problem the hotel can fix.

The hotel is very well appointed and the breakfast spread is good.

However, this is a hotel where most of what you request, will be denied. Services are very poor and definitely not guest oriented.

1) Housekeeping services very poor. They did not do the room on 1 day and the other 2 days, did not replenish amenities. When Front Desk was informed of this, we were told to come and pick up our fresh towels!

2) The Front Desk stout gentleman in the morning shift on 02 & 03 Feb was nasty, rude, and seemed racist. The afternoon shift gent was much better though

3) There was no minibar in the room, which was quite shocking

4) There was no hot water kettle

5) Coffee pods were not replenished. Front Desk told us it was only placed on arrival! Why keep an espresso maker in the room when you do not replenish pods daily?

6) Water also was not replenished on day 2 & 3

7) BF service on 4th morning was cleared with alacrity at 10 am while we were eating. We were not informed even though we were sitting in the bfast dining area. This is a standard and courtesy to be conducted in any hotel around the world.

ALL OF THE ABOVE REEKS OF AN ARROGANCE WHICH SPOILED OUR 3 NIGHTS STAY and we would never recommend this hotel to any person.

The room wasn’t in a good condition, the door frame had around 20 screws in it keeping it in place. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and the shower has seen better days. The hotel ‘bar’ has made up opening hours and the staff weren’t really interested in talking to you. It’s definitely a hotel that is made to look good for photos but it’s cheaply done. Location was good to walk to Saint Gille or the centre. It was clean enough but I’d of probably paid that little more for a better hotel (probably a chain with higher standards)

While it was a hike up the hill from the train station, stepping inside was a stylish step back in time, with its 1930s theme throughout and a lobby and bar that look like film sets.

My room, surrounded by velvet curtains and with a curved bedhead, leaned into the theme, however, the 21st century was evident in the tablet through which you managed the services.

There was a work desk, espresso machine – with pods restocked by housekeeping through the tablet – TV, free WiFi and open wardrobe with small luggage shelf (my large case was open on the floor). While a fridge would have been most welcome.

The bathroom was fine with a shower over the bath, not my fave thing but, when presented with a bathtub, a soak is always welcome after pounding the cobbled streets!

I stayed four nights and wanted to extend my stay, however, it was fully booked. It’s tucked away up the hill from the old town but only a short walk to a main street with shops and restaurants.

Clean room and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Decor was pretty. Room at the back overlooked a nice garden area below. Coffee machine was great.

Very noisy at night though, the rooms clearly have not been sound-proofed at all (ear plugs are provided, so they must have had many complaints). On a high floor at the back of the hotel, there was minimal street noise, but still the internal hotel noise was problematic.

Location ok, felt a bit \"middle of nowhere\", but only a short walk to public transport.

Room was too warm from underfloor heating (or pipes?) with only an overhead air con available, couldn't find a way just to turn off the heat!

I travelled with my senior parents. It’s not easy to find a comfortable hotel room for three adults. This hotel offers room with a king bed and a sofa bed. When we checked in, the sofa bed was nicely set up. The room did not look crowded. It’s an easy walk to most tourists sites. We enjoyed our stay in Brussel.

Very decent place to stay in Brussels. The Receptionist (Suhail) was very helpful. The family Room was of Decent size, the Bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The only downside was that in our room the Ac wasn't working so well but as I mentioned Suhail quickly gave us a decent Fan that was sufficient for the 2 nights we stayed here.

A lovely boutique hotel. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Staffing was limited. They were polite but missing the usual hospitality we observe in hotels. The area around the hotel is residential and slightly isolated. It is a 25 minute walk to Grand Place and to Brussels Midi station.

We absolutely loved this hotel.Modern and stylish room with large windows. The room was excellent - great size, big bathroom with bright lighting, very clean and comfortable beds . Big plus was large balcony with a beautiful view. The staff was extremely helpful. Would come back any time we’re in Brussels.

The staff here were so accommodating to us. We ended up having to stay a week here and after booking 2 days, they did everything they could to get us a great room even when they were nearly sold out. They were ready with dining recommendations, ice when we needed it and advice on local things to check out. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to BXL and will only stay here when in town.

This property is close to Avenue Louise and is close to the city centre in Brussels. The rooms are clean & so are the bathroom. My usual hotel was full, so I searched for somewhere to a metro station that was a reasonable price (and had a desk area to use my laptop). It is an easy four-minute walk to Louise.

Hotel was good. Large flat-screen TV. coffee making facilities. Good check-in experience (friendly person at reception). I was on seventh floor - only one lift and it was a bit slow, but that was not a problem.

I have already booked the same hotel for my next trip (albeit because my usual hotel was full, again).

Affordable, Stylish & Surprisingly Private

I booked a standard room but was upgraded when I arrived—which was such a nice surprise! The hotel is in Saint-Gilles, a neighborhood some call bohemian, but to me it felt calm, charming, and full of great cafés. It’s also right next to one of the most expensive areas of Brussels, so the location is honestly perfect.

My brother and I booked two rooms and ended up with both rooms on a small private section of the second floor. You have to take the stairs (no elevator access to that part), but the upside is that it’s just the two of us up there. The rooms are connected by a quiet corridor—no other guests—which made it feel more like sharing an apartment with two bedrooms than staying in a hotel. Super peaceful and private, and we didn’t hear a thing from other guests.

The rooms themselves were clean, nicely decorated, and way better than I expected for the price. Honestly, I don’t have much to complain about. Great value, great vibe—I’d definitely stay here again.

I had a very comfortable 3 night stay at The Scott hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels. The hotel was located in a quiet residential area, but only a short walk to transport, shopping and dining options.
The room was very spacious and the beds are King (not queen) sized. Things I wish the hotel would provide/improve on are: a mini fridge, keycard requirement for elevator use (greater security), and control over the underfloor heating–the room was always so hot because of this.

Unfortunate Issue over a child’s breakfast - one staff member was extremely rude clearing away breakfast items before we had a chance to eat anything. Spraying the sides down and clearing all food away before guests had finished. He said ‘eat it or don’t eat it - I don’t care’ Not what you expect from a reputable hotel or people working in hospitality. This was a real shame and left bad taste. As we left we were charged €94 Euro despite only owing €10 - so not sure there was a systematic process in place. Good location. Would stay else where on return to Brussels though.

Room was not ready when checking in although it was over 1 hour after checkin time. After standing at the checkin desk for more than 15 minutes for the clerk to try to find a room, which he did not know what to do, I asked to be upgraded just so we could get a room. We had booked a room with a balcony, since none were available we got a bigger room. Room was big and bright but no cozy deco which we were expecting when booking this hotel. We had a king bed and an extra double bed which was useless for only 2 of us. We were a bit let down by the experience.

Our only problem was the only elevator broke and was unusable the morning of our departure. The six flights were steep and circular and very disturbing for two older travelers. The desk man did go up for our luggage but I had to go up as well for additional items. We came to understand why they asked us our preference for floors. I would recommend choosing a lower floor….but would definitely stay here again if in Brussels.

The Reception replied that they only provide water bottles and coffee , tea bags...ect for the first day stay ..if you stay a bit longer you have to prepare by yourself. The room without Kettle except coffee machine. I got the experience even though you put confirmed by the machine that you need to clean daily and put the cleaning requirement sign at the door, they still didn't clean the room until we back at 5:15pm....and the reception said they would come to clean but we all there already...

Very nice hotel and amenities. The morning attendant at the front desk for check in is so amazing, helpful and kind. He really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The afternoon attendant was not, he did not want to answer our questions or help. It was a very nice hotel with excellent bedding, bathrooms and I would highly recommend it. The same morning attendant held our bags for us after check out so we could attend a tour. I thought the stairway was very pretty and no hassle at all. We really enjoyed our rooms, the hotel s as me stay. The nespresso machine in the room was very appreciated. Highly recommend!

Nice 3 night stay - would come again!

Cute hotel, great location for Eurostar (an easy 15 mins walk away), central Brussels (20 mins) and a nice area around the hotel too with some lovely restaurants nearby (Stella, Woodpecker, Huggys and Le Rendezvous-vous des Artistes). The room was quite hot (even for January!) so we had to make adjustments here and there. The towels are terrible! But you’re not going on hols for those 😂 and I think we were lucky as our first two nights were pretty quiet but some noisy neighbours moved upstairs on the third and the soundproofing was pretty bad - fine if you’re not a light sleeper, and they do give you ear plugs! Staff were friendly and the decor is nicely done. Overall would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Great Hotel and Location in Brussels!

The Scott Hotel has a great “Roaring 1920s” vibe from the lobby to elevator to the rooms! Rooms are spacious. Brunch was very good. Front desk staff were awesome and very friendly. The location is great! We walked mostly all over but there are several tram and Metro stations nearby. 30 mins walk to Grand Place. Highly recommend Pizza Fresca (across Place Loix from the hotel), Stella (breakfast only 5 mins walk) and Le Bistro - port du Hall (pub, great food!, 8 mins walk).

Hotel bar was a nice perk. We played cards in the lobby and got drinks from the bar which were great.

My only complaint was that when the rooms were serviced by housekeeping they didn’t replenish the coffee pods and water bottles in the room. Also ran out of shower gel. Minor but would meant 5 star rating if rhey’d done those little things.

The Hotel manager, Marian, was fantastic. Very professional and gave us great advice on how to get around town and restaurant suggestions. Had an excellent taxi at the requested time for our departure to airport. Only negatives were the two young persons serving the breakfast. They were not friendly and even laughed at people having problems with the coffee machine, Also the AC fan was noisy.

The property was ok. Front desk was helpful.
Our room was extremely small and we had to walk around each other get to the washroom or our luggage as the room set up was not user friendly.
Carpets in the hallways could use a deep cleaning.
Bathroom was clean and bedding was clean.

Friendly and accommodating

Front desk staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Check in and check out were both fast and convenient. Twenty minutes walk to shopping area. We were told where to park on the streets which we were very grateful for. Highly recommend this hotel.
