Cheap and worn out hostel in Vigo

The only positive thing about this place is within walking distance (5 min) to old town Vigo but the place is very worn out, rooms smell bad and you can see bugs everywhere. IF cleanness is your priority I do not recommend this hostel!

A neat hotel in a convenient spot

We've stayed here before and found it to be a friendly small hotel in a convenient location in Vigo. It's been refurbished and the room was very smart - although a couple of coat hooks would make it even better! We enjoyed having the sea view and balcony although Vigo's unpredictable weather meant we couldn't really enjoy it (but it was November). The room was clean and the chambermaids did a nice job each day. We found it quiet all week until the Friday evening when more people were in and discovered that the walls are quite thin and we could hear the lift, but that was the only downside in our stay. We can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't try it, but there are so many good cafes nearby, but the staff were good about providing drinks. A good place to stay to enjoy this great city.

Good base for your Vigo weekend stay

Just off the main pedestrian shopping street in Vigo city centre, with a covered market and a supermarket down the street, near the main square with bus stops if going to the beach, train stations or airport. The hotel has good lobby bar, decent rooms, but without air conditioning, friendly staff, comfortable beds, walking distance to maze like streets full of bars and restaurants, would gladly return when back to Vigo

Modest price hotel in a central location

We found this to be a centrally located and modestly priced hotel, ideal for our stay in Vigo. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We can't comment on the breakfasts as we chose to eat at one of the many nearby cafes. The room was basic but clean and comfortable - comfy beds and a good shower. The only downside was being in a room at the front which suffered from some external noise - two nights had bin collections, traffic and pedestrian noise (yet other nights were virtually silent!) and the building next door is being renovated with work starting at 8am and lasting all day and is very noisy. We would be happy to stay again as the location is really handy and it is great value, but would opt for a room at the back.

Good value, central two star hotel.

The room was small and had been recently refurbished. Generally clean though the wooden floor would have benefited from a good scrub. The location was very central and close to the main shopping areas. The choice at night was to close the window and cope with the internal heat as there was no air-con, or open the window and put up with the traffic and other noise outside.
Breakfast was continental and reasonable and the staff generally were pleasant and cheerful.
Good value hotel with several nearby cafes and bars. Its two star rating describes it accurately.

Good value hotel, only had breakfast included on first day and it was very basic continental no hot food. This was the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in, soundproofing is non existent. Take your ear plugs.

Very good value hotel in Vigo

This is a small hotel in the old town. I arrived very late, but checking in was no problem as the reception is manned twenty four hours a day. The staff were all friendly and efficient, and all spoke English.
My single room was adequate, and I had the double bed I had requested. It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. The bathroom was very good and clean, and the shower was brilliant.
The bonus was that I had a good sea view! I found it was also away from the noise of the city as it was in a side street.
Breakfast was charged as extra, but the price was very reasonable. There was plenty of choice - cereals, cheese and hams, a variety of breads and toast with fruit juices, coffee and tea. I never found the dining room too busy, and it was also possible to sit in the reception lounge if necessary.
I enjoyed my stay here, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I would definitely return.

A estrutura do hotel é boa e a equipe é muito gentil e simpática. O quarto que fiquei possuía uma cama de casal, roupeiro, mesa de apoio e pequenos armários de cabeceira de cama. Tudo bem limpo e arrumado. Roupa de cama e toalhas bem higienizadas, cama confortável e travesseiros também. Sistema de aquecimento eficiente. Banheiro espaçoso e limpo. Água quente funcionando e secador também. Melhoraria apenas a proteção acústica do quarto, pois qualquer barulho no corredor é como se fosse dentro do quarto. Fica realmente muito alto e atrapalha o descanso. Hotel bem localizado, perto do centro histórico, Porto e feiras, caminhando cerca de 10/15 minutos.

La habitación olía a aguas residuales que venían del baño. La cama era muy mala, el edredón no era cómodo en absoluto.
No te pilles el desayuno. Lo mejor es pagar los 7 euros en una panadería cercana.

Funcionários muito educados, sempre buscando ajudar e indicar serviços, quando solicitados. Cadê da manhã, ok! Pouca variedade, mas, se você quer algo rápido, tá ok. O hotel está muitíssimo bem localizado, tem absolutamente tudo no entorno, mas, infelizmente, é absurdamente barulhento. As instalações precisam ser modernizadas. Paguei duas diárias e usei apenas uma, saímos antes, pois, era inviável dormir com tanto barulho.

Un hotel barato pero céntrico y muy limpio. Algo viejo, pero renovado. Precio ajustado al producto pero merece la pena sabiendo que es un hotel de batalla, 3*, y si no pasas mucho tiempo en el. Por ese precio está muy bien. Unas habitaciones son mejores que otras, pide una buena. Se oye bastante al de al lado. Sin aparcamiento, pero hay cerca un parking con un descuento del 20% aproximadamente si te cuñan el ticket en el hotel.

Hotel muy correcto y centrico. Con una relacion calidad precio muy correcta. Lo elegimos porque aceptaban MASCOTAS, y es un gran punto a favor. Por desgracia soy muy alto y grande, y las camas individuales se me quedaron algo justas, asi como la ducha. Aun asi, mi acompañante no tuvo esos inconvenientes y la estancia, el trato, la limpieza de camas, ropa y baños es muy adecuada. Recomendable principalmente por la calidad-precio y la zona, asi como, por aceptar a los amingos caninos
