Solo traveler I stayed oct 11 2025 one night in the suite room. When i pulled up there was a mop and mop bucket outside along with a trash can. That was still there the next day. The guy checking me in stopped to go do something then came back and finished checking me in.The wifi did not work! The hot tub was a jacuzzi tub not a hot tub as stated! The water for it was luke warm and it took forever to fill.I actually took the ice buvket and filled it with hot water to warm up the jacuzzi tub. Because for some odd reason the sink had extremely hot water. Alongvwith the shower. The towels had stains on them. Over all the room was just dirty. The floor you could tell needed mopped. The refrigerator needed defrosted. The chair and pullout bed both had stains. The ceiling light needed cleaned you could see dead beds. The room was very dark, even with every light on. The hotel is not the same name as advertised. The fruit for breakfast you could tell had been there awhile. The mini fridge was dirty thats where the milk and juice was. Also was very dark in the dining area. This was a very outdated hotel. Next time I'll drive a little bit further to stay at a better hotel.

The lobby reaked of curry. The room was extremely out dated. The sink had a crack down the middle. The ice machine was broken. Fortunately I was wake and eating the bland breakfast when they were dragging the broken machine down the hall at 7:20.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the air conditioning worked well in the room, but it was otherwise not a great experience. In the room, the previous tenant’s leftovers were still in the fridge when I arrived. Also, they did not have the air conditioning turned on in the hallway or the breakfast area, so it was very hot. The fruit in the breakfast area was past its prime - super soft bananas and dried-out tangerines. Plus, the ice machine and water fountains were out of order.

The only option we had

The hotel doesn't have an elevator, the pool wasn't in working condition, they had no alarm clock, the phone didn't connect you to the front desk, and there was no information at all about the hotel or the town in the hotel room. The room door also didn't latch unless it was dead bolted and latched from the inside. It was clean, but we felt not completely at ease.

The pictures of the property do not look like the same property. It was somewhat clean but, the phones in the room did not work. Friends of mine called and the manager told them the phones were disconnected. I personally would never stay there again.

Most uncomfortable bed have ever \"tried\" to sleep on, Flimsy pillows. The TV barley worked.
We got a room with a hot tub. The tubs jets were half working.
Secondary exit door had such a gap that anyone not staying at hotel could and did open.
Tiny room that was a huge disappointment for $165. WE NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

After waiting for over 15 minutes yelling and shouting for someone to check in the front desk gate was closed and dialing the phone only rung to the front desk where no one was at. Contacted Expedia and finally being able to reach the front agent he came strolling from around the wall in pjs and no shoes giving attitude like we just woke him up. We asked him if he was just behind the wall why didn’t he come when he heard us shouting he said it didn’t matter. I know for a fact that is not the first time he has done that will not be the last. Room is a mess blood on walls boogers on bathroom wall. I would not stay here. Only reason we did was last room that could hold all of us 6 and we checked In at 2am.

Dirt cheap lives up to the hype.

When we found it on the site for such a good price, I thought it was too good to be true. And I was right. The lack of cars in the parking lot should have been a red flag. The room was spacious enough, but the beds were hard. It was like trying to sleep on a slab of concrete. The coffee maker was about trashed. There were only 10 watchable channels on the TV, with no local channels at all. The free breakfast was a joke. The cereal was stale. The toaster didn't toast. And the fruit looked like they bought it two weeks ago.

And then, there's the ants. At the breakfast counter. In our room. In the hallway. EVERYWHERE!

I can assure you, I will NOT be staying there again.

Toilet paper and soap was very cheap. Multiple spiders in room. Water was high pressure and warm. Staff was nice but staff family stares at you when you're in your car. Breakfast was free but not much more than waffles or cereal. TV, fridge, and AC all worked well. Bed was stained and uncomfortable, pillows sucked. Room floor was hard with no carpet.

We came down to Mt. Vernon for a family wedding. Upon arrival, we were a little concerned with the place looking outdated. However, upon entering the hotel, many updates are being made. The weight room and swimming pool were under renovation.

The room was CLEAN and the staff was friendly. The price was also very reasonable. We were even able to have a late checkout! If we have to return to the area, this no-frills place is where we will stay again!

There is simply no other way to say it - this Is a sub standard, trashy, low quality hotel. It is absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed in in my life. It is terribly run down, smelly, and the service was non-existent. The usual expected amenities were promised and not delivered. Internet was so slow as to be on usable. Breakfast consisted of bagels and a do it your self waffle machine. We stayed two nights and our room was not cleaned at all. We did not receive clean towels for the second day. There was never any staff available at the front desk. The place was so bad we actually packed up on the second night and drove 500 miles to be in our home. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! As a sidenote to Travelocity: this establishment should be removed from your website. No one should ever stay here, ever.

The property was decent. I feel frustrated because I paid for a nonsmoking room and clearly someone had smoked in that room previously.! I cannot handle allergens, such as, smoke and woke up about every 45 mins throughout the night because my nose was severely “stopped up.”

Not worth the money.

The hotel is in serious need of upgrades just to make it decent. The toilet clogged up twice with not much in it. The wallpaper in the hall had been peeling and was held together with clear packing tape and staples in some areas. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The waffles we’re the only thing decent, bagels were hard as a rock and fruit flies were on the bread. I would find another hotel.

The carpet on the stairs was filthy and stained, wallpaper peeling off, no hot water. Only two flat pillows on each bed. Dingy towels and stains on sheets, one mattress was rock hard and the other was way past being replaced. Also, a train came by three times during the night. It was like a scene straight out of My Cousin Vinny.

Outside of hotel was dark and run down. Surrounding area was a little sketchy. The interior of hotel is disgusting. Smelled and icebox had mold on side of it. Pillows were uncomfortable and mattress. This is a no frills motel. It is old and outdated. It seems to be a family owned/operated place. It was okay for a quick stop over. Overall the place was clean and I got a good nite's sleep which was all I was looking for. The location for me was okay, as it was convenient on my way to Cairo, IL. If you are just looking for a convenient place to stay overbite then for the price it is a acceptable. If you are looking for more frills and customer service, you may be better off finding a place in Evansville about 20 miles east

I was the only guest the night I was there. Bed looked like it had been slept in when I arrived. Only 8 channels on TV and picture wass fuzzy. Towels are over sized wash cloths. Only 2 lights in room worked. Signs at front desk show place is not friendly. Next time I am staying in Evansville. On the good side there was small a microwave and a small refrigerator. But not enough toi overcome.

I don't like leaving negative reviews.. In this case, I must. Room: 1. As soon as I opened the door..Mold and Mildew smell hit me in the face..thick, thick smell. A/C was on, it was 93 degrees outside and I STILL opened the window and left it opened the entire time I was there. 2. I didn't shave, yet there was hair stubble all around the sink..Great job housekeeping! 3. The toilet was something out of a doll house,. I have never seen such a tiny, small, little toilet in all my life.. maybe if I was 3.5 ft tall. Management did try and spruce up the bathroom with a new paint job though...much of it still on the floor. 4. There was probably only 6 rooms being used at the time, I get stuck next to people who rent to live in this dump...so..2:30am doors start slammin, in and out... I literally did not close my eyes once all night...horrible.

It was great to have something to heat the water for my morning tea. Everything was very clean. The staff had turned on the A/C earlier so that the room was cool on a very hot day. It would be nice to have a grab bar next to the bathtub to assist in stepping in and out of the tub.
