It was a joy to be there for it had everything including real cups and saucers with spoons! No paper cups, which I appreciated. Plus live bamboo in the room and more than adequate bathroom products including new tooth brushes. Real art and prints on the wall that gave it a very Asian- European flair.

My son and I have been coming to the Four Seasons for the past 10 years and the place has never been better. The building and room looked fresh and painted. Inside the room seemed to have newer beds and it was very clean inside. The floor is wood laminate and was freshly mopped every day when they made up the room. It’s not fancy like the chains along the thruway, but it’s a good, clean, comfortable room in an old school Catskill roadside motel, that is run by good people. To my son and I, staying here is part of the nostalgic charm of a vacation in the Catskills.

Our stay was perfect and we booked again for another trip next month. I was thrilled to see a larger fridge! Wonderful for packing coolers on hot August days!
The room was super clean and it was wonderful coming back to a perfectly made bed. Check-in was smooth and friendly, with a call to check on us as we were running late. We did not have a chance to use the pool but it certainly looked inviting!

Vintage roadside motel vibes. The very kind owner checked me in around 8:30pm. The room is quirky/quaint with 1980s feel/decor. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and it was completely quiet at night. (In fact, I think I may have heard Coyotes in the distance). Internet worked well cable television.

If you are looking for fancy, this is not for you. If you are looking to crash for a night or two at a good rate, this is a great option. The mattresses were a bit hard, and covered with plastic beneath the sheet, but again, this was perfect for a night's stay.

Clean and Comfortable on a Budget

My room was large and comfortable, with room for a desk, an alcove for hanging clothes, a small fridge/freezer, microwave, and cupboard. Everything was really clean, including the bathroom and shower that boasted truly incredible water pressure. The property is definitely on the older side, but newer properties never have rooms this large, so I think it's a decent tradeoff. The owners were super friendly and helpful as well. I only wish the mattresses had been a bit better; otherwise, the room was comfortable.

Clean motel!

If you have to stay in a motel, this is the one to stay in. A kind family runs it, and it’s as clean as can be. The only reason I scored my overall rating at a 4 instead of a 5 is that starting at 12 am there were gun shots that sounded super close by.

It is a motel near a busy road. Noise from adjacent rooms and from people sitting right outside smoking. No services. Not even a drink machine or ice. Office always locked with no one in attendance. Clean, no-smoking room with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Rear building seems to be for long term rentals.

Every year my son and I make a trip up to the Catskills for fun. For the last 8 or 9 years we have stayed at the Four Seasons Motel. It’s very reasonable, very clean, and we have never had an issue here. It has a fridge and microwave as well. Every time I go up to the region I will stay there. We went out for the day and when we came back the beds were made, the floor was mopped, and my sons clothes were folded for him. Nice owners too.

This is an old school motel 70’s circa. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, the shower is fine and it is inexpensive. It works well for us as we are out all day and basically come back just to sleep and shower.

Stayed in cold February. We loved that the owner himself greeted us and treated us like his own family was visiting. I was using my tire air compressor to top off my tires before hitting the road and the owner came out to ask me if I needed help. Swell guy.

The rooms are clean and bathrooms are stocked with shower gel, shampoo, towels of all sizes, even individually wrapped new tooth brushes. Mini fridge in room and microwave. Flat screen T.V. with HDMI hookup. Heat is good in the room. Yes, the decor is old, but, the cleanliness makes up for it. The room is large enough for two double size inflatable beds to be used in addition to the two beds in the room.

Overall, happy with the stay. We're considering returning when it gets warm after MAY when the pool is open.

My friend (27) and I (24) decided last second to stay overnight for a second day on the mountain. It was perfect for our needs. Cozy, Clean, fridge/freezer, tv, clean bathroom and shower, 2 beds, huge rack to hangup our ski stuff to dry. needed a place to crash overnight at the last minute, and the Four Seasons ended up being more than i could have asked for. Especially when the weather and gps kept delaying my arrival. I kept calling to update my arrival, and the person who answered was pleasant calming , and after the 2nd call, promised that they would be there whenever i arrived, (ultimately just before midnight in the pouring rain) where he quickly processed my into the room, which was perfect! Warm, clean, simple but comfortable and charming . 5 stars. maybe 7 stars! will be back many times!

When I made this reservation, I was informed several months later that there was an error and the hotel was overbooked. I called the hotel directly and spoke with the owner. He explained the situation and found me another hotel in the area, covering the price difference.
He also called back the next day and informed me that there had been a cancellation and I had a room at this hotel again.
This was the CLEANEST hotel/motel I have ever stayed in (and there have been a lot of them!). I checked in early and when I returned to move into my room, the owner came and met me at the room and introduced himself. We had quite a nice conversation. I felt totally safe and secure there. There's even a playground for kids behind the first building. I would HIGHLY recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area, and will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for the second year in a row on a Catskill vacation. This is an old motel that is well taken care of. Rooms are extremely comfortable and home like. They even have quite a big size fridge in each of the rooms. Bear in mind this is not a a trendy place or some kind of fancy boutique hotel. It an Old country motel that is very similar to two other properties in town. We will be back for a third stay next year or maybe even sooner.

It's a typical Motel, the beds are a lot more firm then I'm used to at home but that seems to be typical. I would recommend asking for additional pillows as I found the ones that were in our room to be flat. We actually managed with just the extra blankets that were in the room since we came late. Otherwise, I was fairly impressed. It was about 100 degrees this past weekend, AC kept the room at about 74. Pool was nice, room was clean everything worked. The water pressure was fantastic along with the wifi. It is though a typical older motel so don't expect upgrades, still expect motel. Would stay here again.

I have stayed here 5 times now and have never had any issue. It’s not as fancy as the large chains but the pride of individual ownership is apparent. It’s CLEAN and comfortable, with a nice size refrigerator, microwave and 4 cup coffee maker. If you just want an inexpensive place to relax in and sleep at night, there is no reason to go anywhere else. It has good WiFi, a nice television, and plenty of hot water… and it’s cleaner than any of the big chain hotels in the area. I will continue to use it anytime I’m traveling in the area.

The furniture and paintings in the room were mismatched but somehow harmonious at the same time. There was care in the decorations. The pool was open and there is a little playground in the back. Stayed here for a few nights while visiting the area to fish and other activities. The owner greeted us and knew who we were the moment we pulled in. Our room was small but very clean and decorated nicely. It felt like we were in somebody's guest bedroom. The only minor complaint that I have is that the shower was a little difficult to regulate.

I was to stay 2 nights here but cut it to one. The first night I was sleeping and had a discomfort in my upper lungs. Could not sleep that night. One bathroom towel had woman's hair on it and the bedsheets didnt feel fully washed clean. The good thing was motel had free parking, a fridge and cable tv. Also the pool was out of service with a plastic cover over it. The place looks old but has alot of potential if they improve it big time. Staff was friendly and helpful, but I would bever come back here again for said reasons. Also many extension cords in room and hand written notes 9n wall does not look good.

1 night stay for a family trip to Hunter Mountain Zipline. The owner greeted us with a smile. This is a no frills place, which for $70 per night is to be expected. Our room was clean and contained a fridge and microwave. The pool was closed. My only complaint was that the hot water handle in the shower was scalding hot. I informed the owner of this upon our departure. The Four Seasons worked out well for us.

The hotel room was ok. Fridge wasnt plugged in so took a while to cool which was inconvenient since i had to buy ice because the motel didnt have any. The hot and cold water in the shower is tricky.
Most disappointing was that the pool was vlosed. If i had known i would have booked elsewhere.

Nice clean low key motel

This place is wonderful for a low key stay for a few days during the ski season. The price is right, the room is clean and it has a microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and comfortable bed. The shower is a bit tricky to balance the hot and cold water to get a comfortable temperature shower, but overall was a great place for a few days!
