The property is located at an excellent place, but the employees do not provide a good service except the waitresses from the restaurant. The first night we stayed the smell of the bathroom sewer was horrible. The hotel management never respected my VIP access I asked them three times and no one did nothing. A family member went to visit us to the hotel and immediately the manager approached us and said that visitors were not allowed in the hotel. I always stayed at another hotel but unfortunately they didn’t have rooms available. I do not recommend this hotel because of the employees being rude and not offering a good service. As I mentioned before location is great but not management.

Excellent location. Staff was friendly, but one night after we stayed out late we came back to the hotel and front door was locked and had to bang loudly several times to be let in. The night person at the front desk was completely asleep on the ground with their shoes off! Overall very convenient to stay here because it’s got on site parking which is very rare in this city

The hotel is centrally located and close to attractions and restaurants. It is an older hotel right across n the Jardín de Union. We asked for and got a quiet interior room. The beds were on the firm side. Room was clean but the bathroom is still n major need of a remodel. Staff was friendly and could speak English.

Staff is amazing! Rooms are spotless and a great central location to walk around the city. Food on site is amazing they offer discounts to its guest and a free drink at a local bar. If your checking out early make sure to inform staff so that your vehicle can be left at front of parking lot as the don’t have over night/early staff to move vehicles.

Overall great! I have stayed 3 times at said location and family/friends have loved it.

Overall, a very nice older hotel right in the middle of Old Guanajuato. The positive was convenience and the negative was a lot ot street noise. Service was generally good, e.g., a helpful server who guided us through a tequila tasting. On the other hand, we had a server for breakfast who was hostile and not helpful.

Historic hotel in the heart of Zona Centro next to the Jardín Union, this is a lovely property with a friendly, helpful staff. All of Guanajuatos treasures are within a few blocks’ walk—the funicular to the Pipila monument, the Diego Rivera House Museum, the Alhóndiga, and the Museum of Don Quixote Iconography. We will be staying at this property for our next visit.

this hotel is in the very center of the lively city. The location is perfect to be able to walk to all of the beautiful cathedrals, theaters and museums. It is also right on the main piazza where the mariachi bands entertain at the many restaurants. Definitely best to have a room not facing the square, as the bands and parties continue late into the night on the weekend.

Very central location, clean and staff is very polite and helpful. Laundry service on site. Have also AC and elevator for two persons at a time (no luggage).
They do charge for bottle water after the first two provided. A little noisy on the weekend since it’s right on the plaza and music goes on until late hours. I did not see access to roof top or pool.

What a beautiful hotel. I loved staying here. The location is excellent for all things Guanajuato (keeping in mind that means it's excellently located near the nightly entertainment on the square, so bring your earplugs if that's a problem for you) Sylvia at the front desk is kind and very helpful. My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Guanajuato and on the recommendation of many positive Expedia reviews decided to give this Hotel a try. We were definitely not expecting to be in the heart of most of the downtown activities. The room was quaint with its era specific architecture. The staff were super attentive. I loved the fact the rooms were quite spacious. I also enjoyed the onsite indoor/ outdoor dining experience. The food was excellent as was the onsite bar. Sadly the place doesn’t offer a pool or rooftop veranda as well as in room mini fridge, but the hotel experience made up for it in the end. I definitely would recommend anyone visiting Guanajuato to stay at this charming hotel.

Excellent location. Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Clean. Rooms are small. No sound proofing between rooms so we couldn’t sleep our first night. People next door had tv blasting until 330 am. I called to complain and front desk took care of it. Given price, water should be replaced daily and breakfast should be included.

Had a wonderful New Year’s stay! Yes the plaza music was loud but that’s what we were looking for when we reserved a balcony view. However, when the wooden window doors were closed we were able to sleep fine.

I booked this hotel for the reason being that it had parking because I rented a car and when we got there, they told me that their was no parking so we passed through there with a tourist guide that I had to get to take me there because couldn't find the hotel and there was one spot for a parking so thanks tonthe tourist guide since he was from there and knew people he took us to these apartments where I could park the car there. After 5 blocks away downhill and carying our luggage and bags and paying $600 pesos we get to the hotel and see that the same parking space they had told us was full before now had a car there where we could have parked ours. So I get to the front desk and start explaining that to the lady attending us and shes totally disregarded what I was telling her and she's like this is your room number with your control and key and needs to be returned the same way I turned it to you. So didn't even take into consideration what had just happened to us with the parking. So very inconvenient for us to be honest having to pay for parking when there was a spot their and to top that off having to go for the car 5 blocks away and uphill carrying our luggage and bags ...
