Located in the small settlement of Néris-les-Bains, right opposite a casino, this family-friendly hotel is just a stone's throw away from the thermal baths. The picturesque town of Montluçon is just 10 minutes by car from the hotel, and Vulcania, the ‘European Park of Volcanism' is an hour away by car.
The pleasant and calming setting is perfectly suited for guests wanting to relax. Néris-les-Bains owes its prosperity to the Belle Époque, and the architecture of the hotel reflects the pleasant atmosphere of spa towns.

Great room with lovely view to front. There was a noisy disco in the road, luckily didn’t have to get up early as went on till 11 and was loud! Hotel might want to warn if these events are scheduled. Not many restaurants in the area and all but the fifth and last one managed to fit us in. Was a Friday night so might be worth booking a table ahead if staying here.

This hotel does NOT have air-conditioning in May
We arrived on a day in May with 32C temperatures and were given a room with the sun streaming in. Tried the air-con but after 2 hours had to contact reception as the room was like a sauna, even with the balcony door open. First we were told air-con was broken and would be fixed next day. No fans were available, but we were moved to a room at the back of the hotel - no shower only a bath in it. Were then told air-con wouldn't be fixed for 2 days as next day was Sunday. This room was also very warm and we had to sleep with the windows open which for safety reasons we were not happy about. Next morning we asked to speak to the manager as we had booked for 5 nights but couldn't sleep in the heat of the hotel and wanted to check out. Manager told us air-con was not on in May even with the exceptional temperatures. Then he charged us for 2 nights even though we had only stayed for one. We had booked free cancellation but he said we had got a good deal so had to be charged for 2 nights. As travellers who regularly use Expedia we were very disappointed in this hotel and could not recommend it.

The hotel was conveniently located for the business I to do, but would not take it again. Very narrow shower, the hotelrestaurant had fish as special of the day, and the entire hotel smelled like it. Breakfast is too expensive for what is being offered. Good bed.

This hotel met our expectations as a 3 out of 5 star hotel. The room was clean and the internet worked. There were no frills or luxuries as expected. Our room overlooked the back of the roof, so no views for us either. Not many restaurants nearby open and all a little pricey given it was in the middle of no where. Skip the pricey breakfast an opt for fresh things from the local bakery - we had delicious quiche. For the price we were very happy with the stay.

We left it toooo late to book a stop-off hotel on our family holiday with 2 young boys. The website allowed us to book this hotel without alerting us to the 'no book in after 5'. Clean and quiet, Good meal in the restaurant. Friendly staff (somehow we had booked twice, but that was easily sorted out). We even coped with the hand-held shower that had nowhere to go except in the hand. And parking in the street was only a small problem. Everything fine until we tried to sleep in the hardest bed we have ever encountered.

After the husle and bustle of Paris, I loved this picturesque little town. The hotel faces the town casino which has tons of old world charm. Hotel is simple but very clean and charming. Overall I had a wonderful time in Neris and at the Mona Lisa Hotel and will make plans to re-visit again.

Came across this hotel on the long journey south from Calais to the Herault.. I usuall stay around the Bourges ares but Neris Les bains is certainly worth the extra hours journey. The hotel was everything one needs for an overnight stop.. The check in was very efficient and freindly. The room although on the small side was very clean and certainly adequate. Private parking is no longer available but we were assured street parking was safe and we were ablw to park outside the front entrance. Neris is a loverly little town with thermal baths and beautiful buildings. Although the hotel has arestuarant we fancied a walk and came across a brilliant restuarant at Hotel la Centre et Proxima. I'ts run by an husband and wife team, and serves local cuisine. Breakfast was adequate but at 10 euros expensive for mediocre fare.

Sur le chemin du retour de nos vacances, nous avons fait étape à proximité de Montluçon en séjournant une nuit à l’hôtel Mona Lisa – Noemys Néris-les-Bains.
Les chiens y sont acceptés (9 € par nuit), ce qui est appréciable. En revanche, ils ne sont pas admis dans la salle de restauration où est servi le petit-déjeuner. L’équipe, très arrangeante, nous a permis de nous servir au buffet et d’emporter notre petit-déjeuner en chambre afin que notre chien ne reste pas seul : une attention que nous avons particulièrement appréciée.
L’hôtel est idéalement situé, juste en face du casino, avec des places de stationnement disponibles dans la rue.
La chambre, suffisamment spacieuse pour être à l’aise, bénéficiait d’une bonne isolation phonique : bien que donnant sur la rue, nous n’avons pas été gênés par le bruit, alors même que nous y sommes sensibles.
Seul petit bémol, un problème d’humidité dans la salle de bain provoquait un décollement de peinture au plafond, sans conséquence sur le confort du séjour mais visuellement à améliorer.
Dans l’ensemble, une halte agréable et pratique, avec un bon accueil et une chambre confortable.

Bon accueil dans un hôtel propre mais un peu défraîchi. Séjour d’une nuit avec dîner correct sur place. Idéalement situé face aux théâtre et au casino. Le quartier est calme et très agréable.

Bel hôtel dans petite station thermale. Chambres face au parc et au casino et confortables. Très calme, très bon accueil. Parking sur rue peu passante gratuit, c'est le long de l’hôtel. Parfait. Hotel en plein centre face au casino. Chambre très confortable mais difficulté d'arrivée de l'eau chaude à la SDB, en raison de problème dans l'installation de tuyauterie, qui a été résolue tout de même. Petit déjeuner buffet sympathique et copieux.

L'état des chambres laisse à désirer, beaucoup de tâches sur la moquette. La Salle de bains c'est un sketch, rien à voir avec l'image sur votre site, cette dernière correspond à la SDB PMR, j'ai pris une photo, je n'ai jamais vu ça.
Les cloisons sont en papier à cigarette, la cloison vibrait lorsque la personne d'à côté bougeait dans son lit. On entend tout, la télé du voisin, le bruit de l'ascenseur.
Seul point positif, c'est pas cher.

La chambre était correcte et propre mais il manque un placard et quelques cintres pour ranger les vêtements. Le plus gênant concerne l état des volets et des fenêtres et le balcon commun à plusieurs chambres avec comme conséquence le fait de ne pas pouvoir laisser la fenêtre ouverte. Dommage cela gâche l'appréciation.

A l'arrivée, fenêtre dans la chambre grande ouverte, 10 ° dans la chambre la température extérieure, il faut mettre la carte d'entrée dans le boitier, donc pas de chauffage, à mon retour,le soir, j'ai voulu mettre le chauffage, il ne fonctionnait pas, impossible d'avoir du chauffage de la nuit, réception fermée, donc pas de responsable, lorsque je l'ai signalé le lendemain matin, ils n'ont eu aucune réponse à m'apporter, dernier point, la salle de bain, un bac à douche de 80 cm avec un rideau de douche qui vous colle, pour un 3 étoiles, grande déception, vraiment vieillot et trop cher pour la qualité des prestations, j'ai payé pour dormir dans un congélateur, je ne recommande pas
