Such a quiet and peaceful stay. Spent a couple of nights and had a fabulous experience. The interior decoration was spot on to give a cozy feeling. The garden was beautifully maintained with many trees and flowers all around. Plenty of hummingbirds in the garden. We also got a nice view of the stars from our room. Rochelle and Bunny were so welcoming. They did an amazing job in restoring this historical property.

Staying in a historic 100 year-old hotel is very interesting. I was surprised how well my room was appointed. There was a refrigerator in microwave and coffee supplies in my room which I didn’t expect. The bed was super comfy and the location was quiet. There is a wonderful space upstairs for socializing and coffee and tea, which overlooks the backyard. The backyard has a lot of lounge spaces in a hammock. The town is very quiet and there’s not even a convenience store in Glendale. The breakfast was amazing. So many choices and the quantities were extremely generous. There was even peach cobbler from peach trees on the property.Also, there was a reading light for the bed which I appreciate because I’m a nighttime reader. There are hummingbird feeders with lots of hummingbirds, buzzing around on the front porchI’m already making plans to go back.

The Smith Hotel is quaint and lovely and shows her age with elegance! Rochelle met us when we arrived, was warm, friendly and told us some of the history of the hotel. We had an excellent diner at a place she recommended. We stayed out in the beautiful garden until night was coming on. Handmade furniture in our room and the sunroom with fridge, coffee maker, microwave and sun were some of the highlights of our stay. Rochelle and Bunny served a healthy delicious breakfast and stayed to regal us with stories of the hotel. We highly recommend a stay at the Historic Smith Hotel B&B in Glendale, UT!

Excellent place to stay on our trip between Zion and Bryce Canyon. The family style breakfast gave us a chance to meet new people and our hosts. The waffles made with Mike’s secret recipe were excellent, although my husband thought a couple slices of bacon would have been good to go with them. Our only complaint was the faucets in the sink in room 5 needed updating, but otherwise excellent.

We had an enjoyable stay at this B & B in a historic building. The owners provided a terrific hot breakfast and were very friendly & helpful. Rooms are on the 2nd floor via stairs, not an elevator. Our room was very clean with an extremely comfortable bed. It had most of what you'd expect including a microwave and mini-fridge [that did not have a freezer compartment]. Likely due to old plumbing in this old building, the hot water took quite a while to arrive at our faucet & shower. Overall a good place to stay in a very quiet town.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was wonderful and Rochelle could answer any questions I had about the area. Room was very clean and homely! East entrance of Zion was only about 35 minutes away and didn’t have a line getting in either day. Bryce Canyon is a bit further but a beautiful easy drive. If you want a truly memorable experience this is the place to stay!

Old bed and breakfast charm. The last time I had a B&B experience like this was almost 30 years ago!

The place is implacably maintained, the room is comfy. The bed is better than my bed at home.

And the breakfast rivals any 5-star restaurant. She is a gourmet cook. The host is a super nice lady who is chuck full of information about every national park in a 100 mile radius. She helped me identify places for my photography project.

I used to stay in Kanab in the hotels. From now on this place will be my base anytime I visit the area.

The hotel is located close to Zion and Bryce canyon NP. My husband searched online and found the rating for this hotel is very high, hence we booked the hotel. Indeed it's great to stay here. The hotel is run by two sisters(actually they are very good friends). They are very friendly, and keep the room condition good.I specially like the paintings in the room(it turned out the two ladies are arctists, no wonder why there are so many paintings). It is very quiet in the evening hence I had good sleep. The next morning I did not expect much for the breakfast, but when I went to the kitchen I was surprised to see the two ladies(who run the hotel) made great peach pie and bread and other varies, especially the peach was home-grown peaches. They are tasted very nice, are also very healthy food. The ladies tell us some tips on how to park in the NP during the thanksgiving holidays. We had very nice chat. Though it's a very short stay, my husband and me had a pleasant time to stay here. We will visit here again when we visit the Frand Circule NPs in the future.

i loved the ambiance. The owners were so kind and made it feel like we were visiting family. Breakfast was lovely, one of our favorites on the trip i’ll never forget that 12 ingredient waffle wow. The place was very clean, the towels and the bed sheets were so soft! I loved the nature aspect, there were lots of humming birds, flowers, i saw a cat, and there were many fruit trees which the owners encouraged us to go pick ourselves some fruits:) The country store nearby was also a nice place if you’re staying here

Great Place for Long and Short Stays

Perfect place to stay for short or long trips. An hour from Zion and Bryce National Parks, but a beautiful drive along the way; don't notice the time. Room was cozy with mini fridge. plates, and cups. Fully stocked kitchen in common area for guests. BB had all basic essentials, plus some. Property is well kept and nice to just walk around. Hosts were super friendly and informative. Genuinely want you to have a great experience and see the best of things. Would def stay again.

A wonderful alternative to the chain hotels!

It’s a wonderful old hotel with lots of character. The room was very comfortable and clean and I loved the artwork throughout.
Breakfast was excellent - MUCH better than the hotel offerings.
The owner was gracious and we greatly enjoyed talking with her each morning.
It’s a bit off the beaten path but well worth the drive. I hope to visit again!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Rochelle's bed and breakfast. She works very hard to take care of the historic hotel. She keeps it full of period antiques and such so don't expect a modern vibe. It's Zion country so it's an old fashion feel. The front of the BB is cozy and welcoming. The back is quiet but flower beds weren't ready just yet. We could see the neighbor's horses out in the pasture. Beautiful blooming trees in the yard. We stayed in room number four which had a king size bed that was very comfortable. We had a refrigerator and microwave that was very helpful. Family style breakfast was delicious and fun as we sat around the table with two other couples and our hostess just chit chatting. Tub is original, could use reglazing but solid as heck :) Rochelle was so kind to make us a grab and go full of many goodies as we needed to get home earlier than planned. We felt the BB looked better in person and super quiet! Happy Easter Rochelle!

Es ist keine Größe Kette.
Es ist ein kleines sehr altes, sehr gut erhaltenes Hotel. Alles war sauber, Bett Dusche Böden. Es ist absichtlich historisch eingerichtet. Hier gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, kein Trubel.
Es ist sehr ruhig und man kann wunderbar schlafen. Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehenswert, empfehlenswert. Wir waren nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise zwischen den Parks.
Ein super Restaurant ein paar Kilometer weiter kann ich sehr empfehlen, es heißt was mit Thunderbird.

It was like coming home to your mother's house. The ambience was welcoming and comfy. There was a place to sit and look out over the yard complete with food, microwave, refrigerator, games and books to amuse oneself. The morning breakfast was spectacular. We fell in love with the property with its history and charm. It was the perfect location for Bryce and Zion visits and a wonder place to end the day. We wished we lived closer to stay more frequently but we will keep the place in mind for future travel.
