Booked a twin accessible room but when we got to the hotel it was made up as a double and we were asked to leave the room whilst they turned it into a twin. This process to some 45 minutes. My believe is that my dad at least should have been offered a complimentary drink.

There is as a smell of sewage in my bathroom when I first arrived and my TV didn’t work. Reported both in the evening when I noticed TV issue, after getting in from visiting friends but when I did, received no apology or appreciation it wasn’t acceptable from person on desk. In fairness an offer to send maintenance to fix TV was made, but as it was approaching 10:30 I declined as it was late (I was really wanting them to be aware of issues). Once I said this I got an “oh” message in response and then then a shrug shoulders attitude, no attempt was made to log the issue.
I received an apology for situation when I re reported it as I was checking out, but I won’t be staying here again. It’s a shame as this was my 2nd visit to the hotel and my first visit experience was positive.

The room was fairly clean, and very large, but very drab. It was like a Holiday Inn Room that wanted to be a high-end fancy hotel. The location is OK, there isn't much to do in Milton Keynes. It's right next to a huge mall, but it's hard to walk from the mall to the hotel, unless you have a great sense of direction. GPS is not helpful with wayfinding, and all the Uber drivers had trouble finding it. Breakfast however was the best I had in all of England and Ireland. And the views from the restaurant are spectacular.

This place was great when it first opened, really top tier. We stayed about 8 months ago and there were buckets in reception as clearly there was a leak. This weekend, still there.
The quality of the rooms is not where it was, bottom of the doors are chipped, grime around the seals in the bathroom.
The bar on the top floor is the same story, standards have just slipped.
It’s such a shame as it was a great place to stay and was just a higher standard than other hotels in the area, but it’s not worth the extra money anymore. A real let down.

I am a loyal guest at La Tour Hotel, but my stay on 28/12/25 was extremely disappointing. I found a bed bug in Room 907 and was bitten; reception staff saw the evidence and apologised. The next day, the duty manager (Haydee) was rude and dismissive, contradicted her colleagues, ignored evidence, and even told us not to book again.
We were moved to another room due to bad smells and poor shower pressure. Promised late checkout was later challenged, Expedia was wrongly told we had made previous complaints, and no refund or compensation was offered. Pest control claimed nothing was found despite staff acknowledgement.
After spending nearly £3,000 across multiple stays, raising a serious hygiene concern resulted in being banned from the hotel. Unprofessional, poorly maintained, and far below four-star standards. Not recommended.

Room was clean & spacious. Shower head needs descaling or replacing as only 2/3 of the holes were patent. Shower tray very slippery, no non-slip mat provided. Tea tray was basic. View from room over Campbell Park was lovely. We ate in the restaurant Fourteen which was lovely, food delicious and service was great.

Food was fantastic booked 3 rooms one room the toilet system running all night. Extraction in bathrooms run all night was noisy .My room had crisps on the floor near the bed shower gel shampoo not topped up very disappointing.
