Disappointing. I am sat in the cafe waiting to go to the airport. I have been ill for the duration of my trip and only made breakfast today out of four days. I just asked a waiter for a small bottle of water so I could take my medication. He told me they don't keep it in the café. I said I got one earlier from reception. He told me to go and get it from there, it is just 50 yards away, it would not have been too much effort but when you are unwell it is.

I recently stayed at your New Delhi property and I wanted to share my experience, as I honestly feel the price I paid was not justified for a 5-star hotel. To start with, the room itself was decent and comfortable, but it did not meet the standards expected from a premium property. The overall cleanliness could have been much better, and there was an unpleasant smell that made the room feel less fresh than it should. Additionally, while I understand the building is older, I believe it can still be operated and maintained to a higher standard, especially considering the brand reputation and pricing. The most frustrating part of my stay was during checkout. I tried calling the front desk continuously for about 30 minutes, but no one answered. Eventually, I stepped out to ask for assistance and met one of the room cleaners. I requested help with my luggage and was told, “Okay sir,” but no one came. After waiting another 20 minutes, I went out again and asked the same person. Once again, I was told to wait, but after an additional 15 minutes, I still received no support. At that point, I had no choice but to go all the way down to the lobby myself to request help. It seemed like there was a communication gap, and during this time the phone service also appeared to not be working properly, which made the situation worse. I had a great stay at this hotel in Delhi. The location is excellent, with easy access to key landmarks in South Delhi as well as the airport. A mall is conveniently nearby, which makes things even easier for food, shopping, and quick errands.

The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. Both the breakfast and in-room dining were very good, with good quality and variety.

As someone visiting from abroad, I found the hotel safe, comfortable, and well managed, which really matters when you’re in a new city. I would highly recommend it, especially for business travelers, but it’s a solid choice for leisure stays as well.

For a hotel this size 6 sun beds are inadequate and only three pool towels at the start of the day and none of you come later.
Reception is very chaotic with no system in place for dealing with large groups. Three desks and we had to go to each of them before the correct location, desk signage would help.
The most helpful staff were the ones servicing our room they were excellent.

Never book this awful hotel.

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and I’ve had a terrible experience. I had to change the rooms twice because of issues. The new room they offered us, the shower broke and flew off the wall and hit me in the head. The front staff was so unhelpful all they offered me was an apology. If your guest has an injury on hotel premises due to bad maintenance then surely there should be compensation. The food was terrible and overpriced and they have stupid rules that you can’t bring food packages inside. I had a small Bluetooth speaker that they wanted me to hand over. What is this a jail?

It was Hot - AC didn’t work and upon calling the service, we were told it wasn’t turned and they fixed but it didn’t get even afterwards. My bother stayed here few months ago and he recommended me that was the only reason I decided to stay but I will never stay or recommend anyone ever.

I wasn’t impressed. I was on the 4th floor and it had a bathroom smell as soon I walked to my room. Carpets were old and looked ok. My AC didn’t cool despite my complaints. They sent an electrician but still it didn’t get done. They were hesitant to change my room and I dropped the idea of going through inconvenience. It was ok.

we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very efficient and courteous. Ajay at the entrance who showed us his 6 fingers very proudly was helpful in settling our fare with the cab driver as we didn't have change in local currency. Nikuns at the reception and all the staff were very helpful.

I recently stayed at The Grand Hotel with my wife and two kids, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.

We had a late-night flight, which is why we requested a late check-out. However, when we returned to our room around noon, we found it locked. After asking for a key change, we were still unable to access our room.

To make matters worse, we encountered a significant issue with the toilet, as there was no water available. We called the reception more than ten times, but the response was extremely poor. On three occasions, we were transferred to a duty manager, but he didn’t address our concerns and seemed more interested in chatting with others than helping us.

After countless requests, we were finally moved to a different room at 3:15 PM, which was the last available room in the hotel wing. This was incredibly inconvenient, especially with two young children (ages 7 and 2) and all our belongings to manage.

The way we were treated during this ordeal felt like torture, and it has left a lasting impression on us. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve their service in the future.

It is a lovely and well-located hotel, with the staff doing their best to keep it running smoothly. It needs a significant overhaul of its facilities, though -- the in-room heating did not work in my room, for example, and in a cold Delhi winter, I could get barely lukewarm water to bathe in.

This is one of the worst experience I have ever had specially booking through the Hotels.com I have paid for This booking was already paid but when I reached while I’m doing the check-in, they told me my name it’s not appearing there and I cannot find my working reference although I called hotel team it took from me almost 4 hours to get in the hotels and also they hold the amount till they will get the confirmation from Hotels.com one of the worst experience ever from both side hotels.com and the hotel itself

Very dated rooms, I was on 5th floor and there was dampness smell all the way from elevator to the room. The view outside from the room was of the hotel property with standing dirty water on one of their terraces. The rooms did not have ability to turn off 3 of the several individual lights/lamps and in general was very dark even with all the lights turned on. And,one of the worst WiFi if one has to work.

Ive stayed a couple of times here. Lnly becsuse its closed to my apartment in Vasant Kunj. This property is weird and eerie. Entire stay there was a weird construction sound whichbeventually stopped. This used to bevthe Hyatt and i think it burned down and three partners took it over and nsmed it Hyatt. The only good thing is the rooms are spacious. But again looks ghostly and eerie.

I got stuck in the elevator between floors for 5 minutes, even after I pressed the alarm several times nobody responded or came to help. The elevator reset and lowered itself to the bottom floor and after manually pushing the doors open to let myself out, the staff at the front desk just said “we’re very sorry about that” and moved on to the next guest in line.

Original impression when walking in is really good. It only gets worse from there.
Majority of the staff doesn't care about the customer.
Our room smelled foul and so they changed our room which was marginally better but was even less clean. They said they would shift our luggage but eventually we had to get it ourselves.
Dinner tasted terrible and the stop serving you as soon as the time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner time is up. They would not tell customers the kitchen is closed and then just ignore you.

If your looking for a 3 star hotel with a 1 star customer service experience, then this would be the place for you.

My water would not stay hot for longer than a few seconds. The hallways smelled bad. The staff was loud and slow while cleaning rooms and inconsiderate of guests in the rooms. In addition, be aware if you book through Expedia that they might not see this and have to charge you again.

Horrible service and Rude behavior of staff

I made a booking for 7th July at,\" The Grand\". Reservation was made for 2 guest , I checked in round 8 30 p.m at the time of check-in i made it very clear that my finance will check in late at the time of my check in i submit his id and my id proofs and informed them he will checking in somewhere round 4a.m in morning.

He came at the time of check-in he was stopped by ur staff Yoginder Singh and he got into an argument as per him my finance was a visitor and he cannot check in. After requesting several time to check with the reception he didn't let him step in the property and asked him either to make a reservation or he can leave the property .
My finance have to call me it took almost 20 min for him check in after getting a confirmation from the reception.

Such a horrible service i will never book this property again.

Horrible service specialy Yoginder singh he dont know how to treat guests

Disorganized, majority of staff was helpful, bathroom needs to be updated. Some staff members need better training. Internet issue couldn’t to fixed during my three days stay. Only 2 devices are allowed to connect the internet in 2022 - far less than normal. Breakfast was ok- milk smelled like sitting for days when I used in serial. Manager was humble and apologetic for the other staff member ( a tall guy) who didn’t care how long I was standing while entertaining unmannered customers didn’t care who was in front of him in-line. Short of staff. Couldn’t even find a taxi one evening for 45 minutes. Convenient to walk the malls. Good gym facility outdated equipments though e.g. treadmills. Entrance of the hotel was clean and grand.
Overall- disappointing, wouldn’t like to stay again here

The hotel markets 2 BHK apartment on the website while it has none !! I paid for 3 nights and was given a 1 BHK apartment as they DO NOT HAVE 2 BHK. So please do not make the mistake of making the booking. Also the A/C of the Apartment was not working for full 2 days and in the Delhi heat it was impossible to sit inside the room.

Hotels these days are not bothered about their Name or facility conditions. Post Covid they are happy being in the same category as Oyo Rooms.

I have stayed in this property multiple times and love the location. The staff is very good and makes the stay extremely pleasant. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

There was construction going on which spoiled the beautiful garden views from the room. But that should be temporary.

The carpets in the hallways and rooms need deep cleaning or replacement.

The hotel location is a little isolated. There was a wedding going on in the hotel, that occupied all space and attention of the hotel staff. The staff was eager to get a good review but not so helpful when they were asked to help out. Will look for another hotel next time.

Extremely awful experience!! They will charge extra without even telling you. Make sure you check the bill. I was charged 10K extra and when i asked they said sorry it’s a mistake. Room service is terrible. Takes one more than an hour to deliver food to your room. Room cleaning is also not being done properly. They don’t bother to change the sheets even after it’s soiled
