Namib Desert Lodge Camping2Go is situated below striking fossilised dunes in the Sossusvlei area in the Namib Desert, and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in structured tents. After spending a day in the desert with the remarkable sights of Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon, guests can unwind and relax round a cosy campfire at night while listening to the call of the hyena.
Accommodation is offered in 8 structured tents just a stone's throw from the Namib Desert Lodge. Each tent is equipped with 4 single beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, sink, necessary cooking utensils, and cutlery on the outside terrace.
Each tent has an outside braai and a fire pit that guests can place in the nearby river bed to fully enjoy the sounds of nature. Guests can make use of the facilities at Namib Desert Lodge, which is 700 m away, whether it be dining in the restaurant or taking a dip in the swimming pool.
Guests can partake in lodge activities to explore the area, including e-biking, hiking, or dune drives at sunrise or sunset.

We really loved the accomodation we had. It was very private and we felt one with nature. With the tent you get a full bathroom and and outdoor kitchen which we really liked. The experience was great but was then ruined by the service of staff.
Communication was very unclear on what we had and didn't have included with our booking. We didnt expect any meals to be included in our stay but they said we had dinner included when we arrived. When we considered having their dinner they then told us we had to pay for it. Then they said breakfast was complementary. During breakfast we asked multiple times if breakfast was included with our stay and they said its all good dont worry about it. We were still sceptical and just drank some coffee and ate a slice of toast and yogurt. When we checked out they charged us for a full breakfast. It was quite pricey considering how little we ate but i can understand its a fixed price. I was genuinely very dissapointed with all the misinformation and it ruined what was honestly a great place for us.

We received a very friendly welcome! We loved the fact that the gemsbok walked passed the tent without fear, the 8 tents were spaced just far enough apart at the foot of the ancient dunes, the well-planned tent, huge bathroom and veranda with kitchen. Beautiful lounge and pool area at the lodge, where wifi is available. We were blessed with overnight rain. What a lovely experience!

Wir hatten eine Unterkunft in einem Luxuszelt etwas abgelegen von der Lodge. Dort war absolute Stille, ein traumhafter Sternenhimel und Sonnenaufgang. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Annehmlichkeite der Lodge konnten wir trotzdem nutzen.
