The pictures of the rooms are so deceiving. The rooms are crazy tiny. The shower was a half glass wall that didn’t hold water in. The drain was very slow. Beds had little bugs( not bed bugs) dead on the sheets. When checking out, they tried to charge us for the 20€ breakfast. We ate at local cafes for less, and wonderful food. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was cereal pastry, cook your own boiled egg. Cold cheese and sliced meat. Not worth 20€. Floors did not get cleaned, the curtains hanging around the bed had hair from previous guests in it. The bed practically touched the desk. Couldnt get to the closet when my husband was at desk or on his side.

Villa Alessandra is a wonderful choice for your stay in Paris. Their staff members are extremely welcoming and kind and they are very helpful. The cleaning crew is also very nice and do a very good job of keeping the place clean. The area around the hotel is very safe- it is close to transportation and also offers a variety of shopping and food options. My only issue was that the AC in my room was broken, but the staff did provide me a fan that got the job done. Overall I had an amazing experience and highly recommend this hotel!

The regular staff was on vacation and my air conditioner was broken. 2 different front desk employees assured me I would get at least a fan but I did not get one. On the third call the front desk admitted no fan was available and apologized. I had an uncomfortable night’s sleep. Early the next morning the front desk employee volunteered to get me a last minute taxi to the airport when 3 different Bolt drivers cancelled at the last minute. He saved the day! Many thanks and a little sweat.

I thought somebody was still cleaning, but whoever they were had neglected to safeguard my privacy and my belongings when they didn't bother to do the bare minimum and close the door. As a solo female traveler I didn't enjoy that experience.
Finally, although I paid for an AC room the AC never worked. The people at reception \"Explained\" how it worked but never bothered to come upstairs to try to address the problem where it was. In fact one of them told me to \"open a window\".
I would rate this at 2.5 if I could. Only go here if you can't afford elsewhere.

This place was truly horrible. We were checked into our room in the basement which smelled like someone hadn’t flushed the toilet for days. We asked if we could change rooms and then got a room which may have been worse on the fourth floor with an AC that did NOTHING in 90 degree heat. We were told that hotels all around Paris had AC issues, but when we went to the lobby, the AC was blasting and comfortable. I’m waiting on the manager to see if I can get a partial refund because the stay was truly unforgettable in the worst way. I was not pleased with two twin beds at all. I requested a queen bed. The bathroom glass was not sealed and could be easily moved. Mold and rust along the silicon needed to be redone. This place uses a FAN and it said air conditioning. We SWEAT all through the night. The staff was very nice and the markets close to the hotel had beautiful organic fruits and vegetables that were delicious. It’s close to the Metro and Uber comes too. It’s a small boutique hotel but way too much for the tiny, outdated rooms.

It is a very conveniently located hotel, yet it is amazingly quiet at night. Walking distance to transportation and shopping. DADA restaurant about two blocks away is excellent at any mealtime. Fresh market nearly every day 1/2 block away.

The unique, quaint little hotel tucked away in a cul de sac off a bustling little farmer's market street was very nice. It is the type of place you want to find when in Paris. This was our first trip and we really liked the atmosphere. The room itself could use a bit of updating not in decor but maybe some of the bathroom appliances or fixtures, as the towel warmer would not work even after asking for assistance with how to use it and the shower water pressure was light and a different shower head may have helped if it had some adjustable options. Other than that we did not really spend much time in the room because we were exploring Paris!

This hotel should not be a 4 star hotel. I've stayed in better 2 star hotels than this. The room was falling apart (broken hair dryer, the tiles in the bathroom kept falling off, holes in the ceiling etc.). The towels and bed sheets were sometimes dirty and the mini fridge was sticky and smelly. They never restocked the fridge or the tea/coffee bags. The walls were super thin and not sound proof at all - I could hear every word my neighbours and people in the corridor said. The only good thing with the hotel is the location.

The hotel is very rundown and old inside, and a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. The rooms are in poor condition, the floor was very worn and the ceiling in the bathroom had tiles missing.

The hotel is very rundown and old inside, and a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. The rooms are in poor condition, the floor was very worn and the ceiling in the bathroom had tiles missing.
