My wife and I stayed here while travelling in Turkey recently. We had to use Istanbul as our HUB while going to each area by plane. It is conveniently about 15 mins from the IST airport. It is clean. The staff are very nice. Comes with a bit of a breakfast each morning which is ok but fresh. There really is not much around this area though. Yes there is a bit of shopping in the area but nothing much that is very good. It is a safe area though. TV's suck because there is really no English channels nor a way to watch your Netflix on it like many hotels these days have. That would be a great improvement. We stayed here two or three times while going back and forth to the airport. Pretty hard to beat for the price. One thing that I have never experience din all my travel before was when we asked if we could check in an hour early and the front desk person said yes but they were going to charge us a fee to do so. That felt a bit off, not going to lie. Really can't go too far wrong though. Well priced and clean. ****IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE TAKE AMOMENT AND INDICATE SO***

Only one employee working the cafe and the front desk. I understood him working alone but he provided service to others while leaving me unattended after informing of the menu, I came down told him what I wanted and he still acknowledged other guests.

I only stayed for one night for a lay over but it was 15 hour so i got a room here. Its about a 20-30 mi ute drive from the airport and its a beautiful drive. I wish there was more close by so i could see more of istanbul but everything was a long drive away.

The blankets were very thin, there was a hole in the sheet. There were some unknown hard substances in the corners of the shower. My room service took a long time and was not hot. The staff was wonderful however. And you could have breakfast brought to your room for no additional price.

My stay was disappointing due to the inconvenient location, which made finding parking extremely difficult. Additionally, the inability to adjust the room temperature was a significant issue. Upon contacting the front desk, I was informed that the hotel had set the thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius with no possibility of adjustment. This made for a very uncomfortable stay.

There are multiple problems:
1- we where located in the forth floor and they had elevator going to the third floor. We have a toddler and that limited us.
2- the room next to us (403) seems to be dedicated for staff. They were talking loudly until morning.
3- There was no tissue in the room.
4- safe box was not working.
5- the room was not clean as expected based on the rate. The rate should be $20-$25 per night to be faire.
6- The ramp and the walkway was not accessible for stroller or wheelchair.
7- absolutely not similar to the pictures used for listing.

The only and inly good aspect is friendly staff.

Excellent hotel for overnight stay

Excellent hotel for overnight stay to the IST airport. You can get a bolt taxi from the airport but they will tell you to go upstairs to arrivals to pick it up. Much cheaper than the airport taxi’s. We used bolt again for returning to the airport. The area has lots of fast food outlets around. You can get food delivered to the hotel. Reception will help you.
Excellent clean room with friendly staff. Would stay again.

It was really weird the breakfast was at an exact time. The staff called me to wake up and have my breakfast. The breakfast was also very small and not great. Was very inconvenient.

The hotel was relatively clean and nice. The hotel was on a busy road with noises all night. Had a hard time to sleep. They could have provided ear plugs, knowing that it would be noisy.

The linens where dirty/stained. The towels, slippers. Even the little bottles of conditioner looked old. I have photos to show it. The property staff were extremely nice however. Fine for a quick stop in a layover but might see what else is available first.

Most of the Istanbul airport hotels are in Arnavutkoy. It's a gritty town, full of dirty construction and noisy traffic. I had a 23-hour layover that I didn't want to spend in the airport but was too tired to see the city, which I knew from having lived in Turkey before. My plane arrived early and I was going to leave early the next morning, so all I wanted to do was to eat breakfast, take a shower, and have a nap in a comfortable room. There was no early check-in. So, I paid extra for check-in. The manager could see I was cranky and tired, so he gave me an \"upgrade\" to a small room he called the executive suite. (The manager did the best he could; hotel policy was the problem.) As for food, even though I arrived before 10, when breakfast should still be served, it was unavailable, so I had to go out to find something myself. Then I showered and slept. A shuttle was offered, but it was considerably more than a taxi. I rated the hotel \"average\" because it was clean and the shower was nice.

All hotels calling themselves \"airport\" hotels should offer anytime check-in. Expedia has the market clout to make this standard practice. For properties calling themselves \"airport hotels\", if early check-in is not free, it should be boldly stated upfront. I would not choose to stay there again, and I would recommend against anyone staying in Arnavutkoy unless it's an emergency.

Worth it even if short stay.

Great hotel. Had a very long lay over. The airport hotel was so expensive and wanted a good sleep before long flight (13-14 hours) back to my state. I reserved ride too. My plane was delayed. I was only at hotel only like 10 hours with delays but it was worth it as feel much more rested before the next phase of journey home from Africa. Will stay again when I pass through again.

The location is tricky to get to. I had rented a car and was driving around Turkey. The streets around the hotel were extremely crowded and I actually got stuck on a street because of the double parked traffic.

But the staff was terrific once we got to the hotel. A great small city to walk in. We just did a quick stay before heading to the airport. Which was an easy quick 15 minute drive.

As other reviews have pointed out, this hotel is located at a busy intersection. The road noise is quite loud but if you've got a noise machine it's bearable. Great shower, clean room, great pillows and very friendly/ accomodating staff. Blankets on the bed were a little small but they were clean.

The hotel is a good value for money, approx. 13 miles from IST airport. Taxi is 400 TL to the airport from the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and provided a packed breakfast as we were leaving early before the start of their breakfast at 7.30 am. The area around the hotel is OK but it does not impact your stay inside the hotel although I felt it was a little noisy with horns from vehicles etc which could be heard inside the room

It was my first stay at Homey Airport Hotel Arnavutköy, I picked this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport and because they offer transfer to the airport. The comunication with the reception was easy, I got instructions about the pick-up location for transfer and got picked up from there within 15 minutes. Hotel is small and cosy, rooms clean, especially bed and bathroom, bed was very comfy, hotel staff is very caring and nice. I stayed there only for 1 night for my stopover in Istanbul, just to rest and relax between the longhaul flights. Hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but they have a menu from a nearby restaurant, the food can be ordered from there and will be delivered to the room, thoroughly packed and hot. I was very happy with my stay there and can definitely recommend it.

This was my second stay at this Hotel, on.my way back home and they didn't disappoint this time. Everything was easy and relaxed, the comunication, the transfer, the Check-in. I ordered my dinner right at the check-in and it was brought to my room at the time I asked for. Dinner was yummy, the hotel bed perfect, I could get a good rest between my flights and get to the airport next morning rested and relaxed. The hotel staff is very caring, they really try to do everything to make your stay there comfortable. I can definitely recommend this place for a stopover night in Istanbul and will definitely book it again for my next trip.

The hotel rooms and staff were excellent. The rooms were extremely clean well equipped. The only issue we had was that the building AC was set to 30 degrees Celsius, and it was either on or off with no way of adjusting the temperature. It was quite a warm day and even with the AC off and window open the rooms were just too hot. At night we were unable to leave the window open to let in cool air because of the loud traffic noise. We ended up moving to another room on the quieter side of the hotel. I’d like to emphasis that the staff were excellent and were very helpful about this issue.
