There were bedbugs in my room, I couldn't tell the difference because I've never seen bedbugs before and now my whole body is full of bites, they never checked and didn't take the necessary pest control and cleaning precautions, it's a very disturbing situation, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

the hotel is located in a very nice and convenient place. The parking area is also very advantageous thing in the center. Hotel needs renew as it is old and outdated, but the location, settlement of the rooms, pool, restaurant is very good. I am sure after the renovation this place will be the one of the best in Chios. Hotel room was deplorable. The bathroom room was disgusting ( bathroom pipes were molded with green) the vanity mirror was so old and gloomy, and the tile on the floor was all broken. The walls in the room had holes. And we had ants and lizards on our floor. It was the worst experience ever had at a hotel.

This property was ideal as it was within walking distance to Chios Town, however provided it’s own facilities such as a pool, breakfast daily, a bar, and friendly staff available as required. The room we had was comfortable and spacious. The walking track to the town was great and allowed us to walk along the coastline.

The hotel has a variety of rooms, and has multiple buidlings, they are all very nice, however something to be aware of is there is a mother cat with kittens on the property and she is aggressive. We were just walking by and i heard growling and hissing and we were at least a good 8 feet away. The pool is very nice as well, very deep on the deep end, perhaps 15 feet.

I think the pictures you see when booking are from the main building. But the property has several small buildings around the the main building. we stayed in the \"Villa Palace\" in the rear, by the parking lot. Even the blankets are very old.

For the area I think it was one of the better hotels but we found the staff to not be very helpful or accommodating. For instance when you have to ask where the room is and pool and no one tells you that you have to grab towels from reception or talks about what time breakfast is.. it just seemed like a bother for the lady at the front desk anytime we asked anything.

Great hotel, excellent service and breakfast. The room had a nice balcony and a view of the sea. Two things that were not so great: the \"double\" room had separate twin beds that were technically pushed together, but the bed frames were wide, so there was a 6-inch gap between the beds. Basically, it feels like sleeping in 2 separate beds.
Also, the ball joint that was supposed to hold the showerhead was broken, so it wasn't possible to take what I'd consider a \"regular' shower -- I had to hold the showerhead in my hand the whole time.
Other than those two things, this facility is absolutely lovely and I would recommend it if they would fix the shower!

Comfortable, immaculately clean room, good bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent breakfast. Very good freshwater swimming pool.
Very helpful staff.
Downside - a hot 15 minute walk to town & tavernas. Twin beds brought together are never the same as a double. But quite good value for money.

Excellent hotel, situated within walking distance to the town and really close to a beach. Great breakfast service, nice pool and all round excellent service. The only issue I had was with the one particular room was NOISE (this is not a problem for other rooms). The room had a fantastic sea view but was facing a busy main road. Even though the room had good sound proofing traffic noise could still be heard, especially from two wheelers with broken exhausts. In addition, the hotel would use the main entrance situated in front of the room for off loading goods at 4am.

I love Greece and hate to write anything bad about it. But this hotel... I’ve now stayed twice, the second time by pure accident. Both times the reception staff have been really quite comically rude. I had so many problems with my room that in the end I had to stop asking for help. To be fair, most of the issues had turned out to be problems with the staff not explaining how things work. It’s for pretty views of the sea and a nice pool. But it’s over priced. Go if you want the Greek Fawlty Towers experience.

The buildings and outside looks nice. It is close to Chios town but if you want to spend time in the town it still takes 15-20 minutes to walk. There is free parking. The breakfast is not so good. The rooms are not nice too. It looks like a 4 star hotel outside and 3 star inside the room. It is still ok for the value.

Wonderful Time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Grecian Castle Hotel. The location was not too far from the port nor the town of Chios itself and it was right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they loved our 2 year old son. The staff always had a smile on their faces and seemed genuinely ready to help. The room was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The only issue we had was with getting consistent hot water in the shower, it came and went. Other than that we would definitely return to Grecian Castle Hotel and recommend it to anyone.

I stayed in this hotel at two seperate time on my vacation. The night I arrived, my room was fine, but the bed was terrible. Small and old... The second stay was a very nice room, away from the crowds of the weekend. Room was very nice and confortable. Pool, restaurant and bar facilities were very good and friendly. Geçen sene de bu oteli tercih etmiştim ve memnun kalmıştım. Haliyle bu sene de Sakız adasına giderken konaklamak için yeni bir yer arayışına girmedik. Otel konforlu tesis güzel odalar temiz personel Güler yüzlü ve dost canlısı. Yemekler de iyi ama açıkçası daha iyi olabilir ve kahvaltı akşam yemeği ücretsiz konseptinde içeceklerin de ücretsiz olması daha güzel olurdu. Ama genel olarak güzel bir otel tavsiye ediyorum.

建物はだいぶ年季が入っている感じですが、三つ星でありながら金庫もついていましたし、スリッパも用意されていました。リクエストしておいたとおりにバスタブ付きの部屋でしたが、栓が故障しておりそのままだとお湯を溜めることができませんでした（携帯式の栓を持っていたので、それで何とかなりましたが）。
町中まで徒歩10分位で行けますし、良いホテルだと思います。

2 kişilik tek yatak için rezervasyon yapıldığı halde bize 2 ayrı tek kişilik yataklı oda vermişler. Bu yetmezmiş gibi, tuvalet sifonu bozuk ve sürekli akıyor ve inanılmaz gürültü yapıyordu. Durumu söylediğimizde başka odamız yok deyip ilgilenmediler. Akşam geç saatte geldiğimiz ve yorgun olduğumuz için başka çaremiz yoktu. Gittik yattık, gece inanılmaz bir gürültü koptu ve birkaç saat boyunca tesisattan geldiğini düşündüğümüz Gürültü devam etti. İlk gece uyuyamadık, Midilli Adasındaki mükemmel otel deneyiminden sonra burası kabus oldu.

Ertesi gün durumu bildirdik yine ilgilenmediler ve aslında odamızın rezervasyonumuza göre daha üst bir oda olduğunu çünkü odada balkon olduğunu söylediler. Bu pişkinliği ve utanmazlığı nasıl izah edebilirim bilmiyorum. Neyse otelden çıktık geri döndüğümüzde odamızı aksi bir talimat olmamasına rağmen temizlemediklerini gördük.
Bir sonraki gün nihayet odamızı temiz ve sifonu değişmiş ancak yine iki tek kişilik yatak bulunan başka bir odaya verdiler.
Otelde bir tane havuz var 12.00de açılıyor. Yani diyorlar ki ağustos sıcağında güneş tepedeyken girin. Otelin restoranı iyi, ilk akşam yemek yedik yemekler çok güzeldi. Ama cuma ve cumartesi gecesi düğün gibi özel bir etkinlik oluyor, restorandan faydalanmanız mümkün değil.
Otelin arkasında genişçe bir otopark var ama bu özel etkinlikler yüzünden yer bulmak imkansız.
Otel fotoğraflarda göründüğü gibi değil. Mobilyalar eski tesisat eski, bir daha asla kalmam.

Eski bir otel, en azından ana bina, çoktan hakettiği halde yenilenmemiş. Bu nedenle özellikle banyolar ne kadar da temizlende yerleşik bir kirliliği var. Odaların konforu beklentimizin çok altındaydı. Yataklar ve bazalar hem eski hem de rahat değil. Hakkı teslim etmek gerekirse temizlik personeli son derece gayretli ve emeğini esirgemiyor.

Kahvaltı idare eder ancak akşam yemekleri için +7.000 TL ödemiş olduğumuz halde bize sunulan fiks menüler (tabldot demek daha doğru), sunum, hizmet, vs yönünden tam bir fecaat. İlk günkü olumsuz deneyimimiz ve her akşam sundukları faks menüye bakıp akşam yemeklerinden hiç yaralanmadık diyebilirim.

Ön Büro personeli güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Kahvaltıda hizmet veren iki kadın personel son derece güler yüzlü ve işini severek yapıyor. Akşamları gelen erkek personelden özellikle yaşlı olanı işinse bunun tam tersini söyleyebilirim.

Olursa bir dahaki Sakız Adası tatilimizde tercihimiz başka bir otelden yana olacaktır.

Perfect ambience, very good location. Rooms are food conditioned but beds are too soft. Also thin curtain might be in the room.
Breakfast is good enough but the area can be better organised.
