You would never know this property is as old as it is. Very well maintained. Check-in staff was awesome. Bed was very comfortable. Water pressure, meh. Good location. Did not have any interaction with the restaurant. Bar area was very nice and huge. Hospitality at the bar, meh. Oh, and completely beyond their control but not far from a train crossing with the noise that brings but not terrible. Overall great stay and would go back.

I paid a lot more for a room in a classy hotel, beachfront with a paid view and all amenities such as a good bathroom and a small fridge. The sink was the same height of the toilet, close to no pressure on the shower and the door was damaged and painted over. In the room there was no fridge, the view is to a full tree and the mattress has a huge sinkhole where I couldn't get a good sleep. The restaurant was closed for renovations so no breakfast is included at all. Any other hotel on the region is cheaper, better and more amenities plus there's free breakfast and nice staff.

The hours for the restaurant were minimal. Not even thru the day. The bar closes at 9pm. Rooms were dimly lit, especially the bathroom. night clerk allowed a drunken ruckus and did nothing but stand behind the counter. No security personnel anywhere, at day or night that was openly visible.

We stay here often but this trip we noticed a damp musty smell, shower tiles need mildew cleaned off , a little more time spent cleaning would help.

This place (the White House) is a wonderful place to stay in Biloxi, right off the water.

Room was clean , spacious and quite comfortable.
The housekeeping staff kept a pleasant atmosphere and was always polite and near by.
I also liked the piano melodies on the night of check in. ( very welcoming).

We were n new bldg…spotless! Cora’s for breakfast was delicious, well run & Jensen our waiter was the best. He was so attentive & had a to-go coffee without me even asking. Wow! Who does that sort of thing? Service was superior! Going back @ end of summer! Hope there rain doesn’t keep us out of the pool.

Centipedes in our room, mostly in the bathroom. Called for housekeeping and they sent a nice girl up but didn't speak English for crying out loud! The restaurant got our breakfasts both mornings wrong. So disappointing for the White House, not what it use to be. Will never stay here again!

Beautiful old, renovated hotel. Some staff very attentive to requests and needs…. Others ignored requests all together . Example : the safe in the room was locked on arrival. I texted to see if it could be opened - the return message was, thanks for letting us know. I went in person twice, even spoke to I believe an evening manager… he said maintenance had left at 4 and would on it at 8 am. Three days later, still no help . Sad 😔

The White House was highly recommended from friends but our stay was far from a good experience. To start with, our room on the first floor (107) had a very pungent odor that was attempted to be covered up with glade plug-ins. The odor was a mixture of moldew/mold and a very strong fragrance. It made breathing very difficult and within minutes our throats were irritated and muly wifes felt as though it were closing. We immediately found the plug-in unplugged it and turned on the bathroom vent. We immediately went to the front desk and expressed our concerns with the room. The staff was understanding but unfortunately the hotel was full and there no other rooms available. We asked if there was an air purifier on site in which they responded that there was so we asked if they could put the air purifier in our room while we went to dinner. Upon Our return we enter the room and realize that nothing had been done so we went to the front desk to ask what happened and there was no clear answer as to why it was not done but they told us we could sit in the lobby and wait about 15 to 20 minutes for it to be completed. We also asked that once it was completed that they do not put another plug-in in the room.
We walked over to the bar to have a drink while we waited and the bartender immediately said in a rude voice \"we're closed\", so we sat on one of the couches in the lobby. After 30 minutes and nobody letting us know our room was ready, (see google review for the rest of the story)

As a first-time guest at the White House Hotel, I found the property itself to be very nice. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a pleasant place to stay. The location and overall appearance of the hotel definitely make a good first impression.

However, my experience at check-in could have been better. The desk clerk was polite but not very welcoming or informative. As a first-time guest, I expected a brief overview of the hotel’s amenities, such as the restaurant, bar hours, or other features available to guests. Unfortunately, none of this information was offered during the check-in process.

Overall, the hotel itself is a great place to stay, but providing a more informative and welcoming check-in experience would really help enhance the overall guest experience, especially for first-time visitors.

My room was in the 2nd building and not the original main hotel. I expected better for a premium king room. The water pressure was horrible. I could have taken a better shower using a garden hose. There was not a mini fridge present in the room. For the price, there are better choices available especially if you don't mind a casino hotel. I’ve stayed here more than a couple of times and it’s always nice. The staff is always awesome-especially at the bar. I wish there was a way to alert guests when there’s a wedding. I just happen to be there during weddings on two separate trips and couldn’t find parking. As a guest, I would love to not have to park in the tall grass across the street.

The room was clean but really smaller than we expected especially for the price. There was really no place to put anything on like a bag or accessories. Bathroom was ok but again really no place to put anything. There was no vanity/countertop on there..so that was disappointing considering the hotel lobby was exceptional.
The bar concession was out of certain alcoholic choices which was hard to fathom considering it was a bar on a heavy casino area. So the room size and no places to accommodate travel items was disappointing especially considered the price they charge for the rooms per stay.

The first room I was given was not so great, and the toilet was gross. The front desk staff immediately gave me a different room, and they were very professional. The soap dish in the second room had a chip on the soap tray in the bathroom. That is easy enough to avoid, The hotel was beautiful, and I will be staying here again.

Complaint was made about excessive noise in rm above ours and nothing was done. This was reported several nights when noise was excessive past 10pm and went on to early morning hours. We rec'd no relaxation in evenings when in rm or very little sleep. Most staff was very nice and friendly but staff at desk where complaint reported se eral nights felt they had no authority or responsibility to handle. IF Ireported to mgr he too did nothing.
