I loved everything about our stay. The room size was amazing. The breakfast, so perfectly Swedish and delicious. Location is perfection. It really captures Skanör as a location and shows it off in the best light. The hot tubes were wonderful for my kids. 10/10!! Stay here!

A perfect winter getaway!
This hotel was perfect for us. We enjoy being outdoors and stayed in winter. Although a beautiful hotel we felt comfortable walking in in our outdoor boots and coats and the hotel had a quiet, relaxed feel. The staff were excellent, quiet, friendly and hard working. Nothing was too much trouble. The spa area was spacious and relaxing. There was no one there when we went but it did get busier later in the day.
There are no tea be coffee making facilities in the rooms but you can buy hot drinks from the bar and drink them in the lounge (by the open fire).
Breakfast was delicious - lots of locally sourced and homemade products and I finally got to sample sea buckthorn!
It is a hotel where a lot of care and thought has been taken and this is reflected in the environment and service you receive.

A cosy Hotel located in a very beautiful village with the loveliest street and cute houses. Very near the sea for great walks too. The staffs incl front desk and so personnel were very warm friendly. The massages were heavenly! The breakfast spread was unusually great and incl my favorite- pancakes! Will not hesitate to visit the hotel again!

The lounge area was nice and we enjoyed sitting near the fire place (when there was a fire there otherwise it was quite cold).
The bedroom was ok but extremely cold. The second night there was some sort of party in the main lounge area but we were not informed about it. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant located 350 m away, food was ok but lousy service. It felt like the hotel somewhat gets enough guests that they don’t care about giving a good experience to their visitors...

I have a 15 years long love story with the Hotel Gässlingen in Skanør, and it never disappoints. this unique place has an unrivalled quality, charm and style, and whether Ive held seminars there or been in a more private setting, the staff always goes out of their way to anticipate any wish.I cant recommend this place highly enough!

A Soothing, yet Surreal Experience
We arrived a little after 6:00 p.m. The entrance door was locked, with a notice that guests with reservations arriving after 5:00 p.m. could find room keys in the mail box. We found an envelope with my name on it that contained the entrance and room key. We entered the hotel, and it was surreal. The beautiful and soothing public room was deserted. There was only one other car in the parking area, and we didn't see another soul until we left the room the next morning. It was quiet and somehow comforting to think that we were the only people there. We had an excellent room with a view of Oresund and its impressive bridge, as well as St. Olaf's, a tenth century church next door. The room was comfortable, spacious, with a nice mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings. The bed was comfortable. The room and ensuite bathroom were spotless. If we return to Skanor, we'll definitely stay at Hotel Gasslingen.

This place is really special. The Hotel is lovely the people that work there are darling. They HAVE a spa with Thai massage pool and hot tub. Skannor was so much better than expected especially since many Swedish friends had never been.

We stayed 2 nights, a Friday and a Saturday night. It was an adequate hotel, nothing really stood out for us. A quiet peninsula out of season. The hotel had a restaurant down one of the side streets but we didnt find it till the next night and realised that we should have reserved a table.

Jättemysigt hotell med perfekt läge. Stort plus för gemensamhetsutrymmen och pool. Snygg inredning och supertrevlig personal. Bra produkter (Kertin Florian) och bra frukost. Cyklar finns att hyra. Enda minuset är badrummet som var väldigt slitet med ofräscha kakelfogar och golvbrunn.

I det stora hela ett fantastiskt boende med fint rum, bra säng och otroligt bra frukost. Tillbringade några dagar i Skanör tillsammans med 25-åriga dottern och hotellet var perfekt med fint spa och god mat. Tyvärr hade vi väldig dålig service i restaurangen. Hade beställt bord i samband med bokning av hotellrum , men fick vänta nästan en timma på att ens få beställa dryck . Dagen efter missades vår beställning helt vilket gjorde oss rätt besvikna o osedda. Personalen var trevlig och maten god så vi hoppas att vi bara hade otur.

Very nice and cozy hotel with a spa section
This is a small very nice and cozy hotel close to the sea. It have everything we needed for a weekend getaway! We got one of the newly renovated room and it was fresh and the bed was very comfortable. And the bathroom floor was heated which is very nice as well.

Hotellet ligger dejligt i Skanør - arkitekturen omkring meget spændende og anderledes, lige ved den kæmpestore middelalderkirke - og en kort dejlig gåtur til vandet hen over træbroer i de fuglerige strandenge. Meget hjælpsomt og venligt personale. Vi benyttede hverken spa, pool eller øvrigt \"gøgl\", men nød bare stilheden og spiste morgenmad udendørs ved poolen i solen. Langs Østersøkysten til Ystad næste dag!

Ett fantastiskt ställe att njuta på, när man steg innanför dörren infann sig ett lugn. En annorlunda miljö med mycket vackert att vila ögonen på. Ett särskilt tack till kvinnan i receptionen som verkligen gjorde allt för att vistelsen skulle bli bra. Ett litet spa fanns också där kroppen fick sitt. Toppen frukost👍

Det var et dejligt sted og hyggeligt. Nogen steder lidt slidt men det er en del af charmen.
Det var lidt irriterende at der var musik på i fælleområderne hele tiden. Så ingen mulighed for at få fred anden end på værelset. Og det er lidt synd for der fine fællesområder.
