Propre, accueillant, belle vue et plusieurs commodités! L’hôte Guillaume était souriant et disponible.
Ça sent bon dans la chambre…
Il n’y a pas de Climatisation dans notre chambre mais il y avait un ventilateur qui fonctionnait à notre arrivée et d’autres à notre disposition si besoin. Café, petit frigo également disponible.

Site bucolique, déjeuner copieux et chambre propre quoique trop petite pour nous (peu de place autour du lit, bottes d’hiver ont du être laissées ds la douche vu le manque de place, etc) et peu insonorisée (nous entendions certaines personnes ronfler ds les chambres autour).

The breakfast was great and the room was charming although there was no airconditioning. The stairs to the second floor outside was wobbly and is a safety hasard. The location by the lake was lovely. It is only an hour from Quebec so if you don't mind the drive it is a good base to explore the region.

Rooms facing the lake are fantastic and the view as per shown on the web site. The place is authentic, cozy, well decorated, very relax and the Owner, Guillaume, is a fantastic host. He prepares breakfast that no other places in miles around would offer. The jacuzy opens in summer time but worth it,

I really want to like this property, the owner is very nice and the place is very clean, well appointed and very well situated on the lake; however, there are serious issues with noise.

To begin with, the room that my partner and I are in has very little sound insulation, so we can hear everything going on next door. In fact, I am writing this review downstairs at 1:30am because I've been kept awake for hours by someone snoring in the next room. Snoring guests are not necessarily the fault of the host, but don't expect to relax in the room during the day either, as there is constant reverberation and hum from the refrigeration plant room downstairs.

Indeed, that constant, loud hum basically destroys any pleasure gained from sitting outside on the fabulous terrace with its view of the beautiful lake. That and the couple playing music on their iPhone because there seems to be no policy about that. It all became so frustrating that my partner and I actually escaped to a local Tim Horton's for a coffee and a some peace!

It really pains me to write this review, as this is such a lovely place to come. If the noises described above do not bother you, by all means book your stay here; if they do, this will not be a relaxing visit for you.

I have a 5-hour drive back to New York State later this morning and I don't know how and when I'm going to get some sleep.

We were totally charmed by our experience here. Right from the start we felt welcome and relaxed. It's a beautiful hotel in a great setting by a quiet lake. The breakfasts were fantastic and Guillame's advice for Quebec City was very helpful. After a busy day in Quebec City we were able to relax and cool off in the tranquil lake. This was an amazing experience!

Great alternative to chain hotel

As I travel for business often and end up mostly in chain hotel, it was nice to find this truly home style alternative.

The owners, that moved to Canada many years ago run this place, which is known locally for their dinner as well.

Each room is really nicely decorated and despite the age of this rustic inn, all room amenities are up to date and modern, from bathroom, flat screen TVs, WiFi, etc.

Amenities include access to it's own private beach, dock, kayaks and padel boats. All with Adirondack chairs making that area a nice quiet relax and reading area.

Many indoor and outdoor sitting areas, including a lake facing one with a hot tub.

A definite \"must go back\" inn.

Lovely stay! We were so pleasantly surprised - better than expected. Loved staying on the lake and lake view from our room. Queen room is small but comfortable and well-appointed. Host was so friendly and helpful. And the breakfasts were excellent - both food and setting. We will definitely return!

Beautiful setting

My wife and I stayed here with another couple recently during a visit to Quebec City. Only 40 minutes to downtown Quebec with a lake view, quiet surroundings, and fantastic hosts. Guillaume and Vincent made our stay very enjoyable and couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. Merci les gars!
Make sure you enjoy the breakfasts, we sure did.

Endroit calme, reposant, propre, accueillant, agréable, chaleureux qu’on se sent un peu comme si on allaient chez Papy sur le bord du lac. Dû à l’incertitude de mon emploi du temps, je n’ai pas eu la chance de goûter à la cuisine de nos hôtes mais je peux dire que sa sentait bon en « tipeché » ! Je vais m’y reprendre au prochain tour, c’est promis. Par contre j’ai pu profiter de leur bon déjeuner qui te remplis généreusement bien pour débuter ta journée activité qui s’annonce.

De ses 25 ans et plus d’expérience, Guillaume sait nous mettre à l’aise comme si se serait de la famille qui arrive pour le Week End.

Rien de négatif à dire

Hübsches kleines Haus mit super Blick auf den See.
Zimmer war sehr klein und eng und ist nur über eine steile Treppen zu erreichen. Für Gäste mit Geh-Einschränkungen nicht zu empfehlen.
Es war sehr sehr warm im ganzen Haus. Es gab keine Klimaanlage nur Ventilatoren. Die haben es aber kaum geschafft.
Restaurant ist nur im Winter geöffnet. Das müsste bei Hotels.com/Expedia geupdated werden.
Es war ein netter Aufenthalt, aber aus meiner Sicht nur für eine Nacht geeignet.

En arrivant nous avons fait le tour de l’emplacement et vue que l’endroit est vraiment vieux et nous ont a peur pour le feu, deuxièmement l’extérieur est très bizarre du raboudinage , une terrasse ici une autre là etc, accès à l’eau ailleurs . Pas de personnel
Chambre très petite, avec tout ça nous avons rebrousser chemin , n’avons même pas coucher , désolée!

Bel emplacement paisible. J'en ai profité pour me promener avec mon embarcation sur le Lac et c'est vraiment un bel endroit. Le manoir a un accès à l'eau et ma chambre était très spacieuse. Prix très raisonnable.
