For a no-frills motel - it was a great stay! Pros: PRICE!, the room and bathroom/shower was very clean! The bed was very comfortable! Great lighting and plenty of outlets, including USB ports! Cons (very minor and petty): water pressure could have a tinge better, bathroom is small but funtional, and parking in the winter isnt as convenient when sharing with big trucks and snowmobile trailers - but it worked!
Also, either everyone was super quiet, or its just pretty sound proof! We could hear the gentleman using the stairs to his upper unit - but it wasnt bad at all. We will definitely be staying here again when staying in Two Harbors!

Good size room, very clean and quiet. The motel is just before you enter Two Harbors but only minutes from the center of town. It has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. There is a refrigerator (with freezer) and microwave. Very family friendly. This is my 2nd time staying here and will definitely use it again.

The manager was an absolute gem and very kind. A basic motel, very clean and updated with a/c units. Great access to local area at the last minute without being price gauged. Shower curtain was a little moldy at the bottom but the rest of the room was great and the bed was comfortable. Overall, very happy and I would stay there again during one of my North Shore adventures.

Lisa, I think that was office, property manager name was very friendly when we checked in. Gave us a coupon for a nearby restaurant and other recommendations. I've been to the area many times but not recently. I wanted to give my German cousin and 18 year old daughter a typical small town motel experience. Duluth is very expensive in the summer. We stopped there on our way to Split Rock and Gooseberry Falls. Nice hot water in the shower. TV was a bit tricky to figure out but wasn't there to watch TV.

It's an older hotel, but good value for the dollar. I read earlier reviews about the people living upstairs were loud, but I did not find this to be the case. They were quiet as church mice. Lisa that checked me in was super sweet and very welcoming.

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Nice size room, comfy bed, good location. Only concern was that there is a unit above the rear motel rooms and due to it being an older building it is easy to hear movement upstairs. Otherwise wonderful motel, good and responsive management.

I chose to rent a room at The Voyageuer this year because I was very impressed with it last year. My only issue this year is that there is someone living above the last few rooms, and I was kept awake until 4 a.m. with the creaky floor boards above my bed. So I highly recommend this motel for all reasons, except DON'T stay in room 7!

We had a clog in our bathroom sink, & we couldn’t figure out how to access the tv from the remote( it was satellite), and the manager Lisa, went into the room, fixed the sink, turned on the tv for us, and straightened up! So that was nice customer service.

We had a lovely stay! Booked a room at Voyageur last minute. The hostess welcomed us warmly and our room was great! Comfortable and spotless. We were close to Castle Danger and other restaurants in Two Harbors. And not far up the road from Gooseberry falls! Will definitely stay again!

The owner was super friendly and nice. She let us check in a half hour early. The room was clean. We slept like crap though because the bed was so uncomfortable and it got stuffy and warm in the room because there is no AC in the room. There was a big stand up fan but it still got stuffy and warm. We woke up every 45 minutes-hour throughout the night just because the bed was so small and uncomfortable. Aside from that I have no complaints about cleanliness or the friendliness of the owner.

This was an OK place to stay. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Carpet was very clean. It had a fridge and microwave which was nice. It’s a tiny motel with tiny rooms, but the room was exceptionally clean and service was great. Heads up, there’s no AC in the room, so if you stay during the summer, the heat and humidity could make it challenging to sleep. Overall, it was a nicer room than many budget chain hotels.

Terribly disappointed to say the lsadt

Never saw an employee. There was a key in an envelope with our name on it. There was no ac. It had a themastat but no ac . Front window curtain blew so hard, people could have seen in it except we put weight down to keep it from blowing. Place was old, drab, cheaply decorated. Very hard to believe reviews on Hotel.com which all show favorable. We were thankful it was clean or we would have left. I do believe i slept much last night. It was hot.
