On the day we arrived at Tanadewa Villas, we were coming from Thailand. Unfortunately, I arrived with food poisoning from our previous destination and had a terrible first day in Bali. I was very fortunate that at Tanadewa the entire staff was incredibly kind and understanding. The hotel not only helped by contacting a doctor who came to the villa to see me, but they also provided light meals while I was recovering and were incredibly helpful to both my husband and me with every request I had during that time. These small gestures ensured that my stay in Bali and at Tanadewa was not overshadowed by my illness.

The villas are perfectly equipped, clean, and very spacious. The beds are comfortable, and they have everything you need to truly relax during your stay.

To end our trip, we enjoyed massages at the spa (The Eternal Bliss massage), which gave us the perfect final moment of relaxation before heading home.

I 100% recommend it and can’t wait to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff are friendly and helpful, the services such as the restaurant and massage therapists were excellent. We had a lovely stay at Tanadewa - the staff were all really lovely, villa with private pool was spacious and had everything we needed and breakfast was really good. The location is a bit of a distance from the beach areas - shuttle was good but as people who like to walk a lot the immediate area around the villas wasn’t ideal for this which mean getting grabs to dinner etc. The spa was really lovely - Asih provided a super relaxing experience.

Easy to see why Tanadewa Villas has good reviews. The staff are all wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating. Very private. A fabulous place to relax. Meals can be taken on your villa or in the restaurant. The free shuttle service is a bonus to get to Nusa Dua and Canna Beach. Thanks for a great stay.

The service was excellent. The service staff was friendly and accomodating. However the interior of room is dated. Some overhaul would be good. There were termites eggs on some of the furnitures.

The staff there was very polite too as they will always greet us when they see us and we were very impressed that they could speak good english. Really liked the villa itself. The villa was clean and the bed was comfy. Good value. However some items like bedside table and bathroom tiles are damaged. Staff are lovely...they do ask a lot of questions however. Food in restaurant was average, we ordered indian food. Maybe wont do that again in a non indian country. Overall a really pleasant stay. Be warned there’s more mosquitoes here than in other places we stayed in Bali!

We stayed for two weeks at Tanadewa and Tanadewa's team made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
Many beaches can be reached after a relatively short drive and there is free beach shuttle offered to Nusa Dua Beach.
Spa offerings are really great and food is at least on par with european/western restaurants.

The villa is well equipped with everything you need on holidays, the staff was friendly and tried to accommodate my every request, including booking tours, taxis, breakfasts, etc. The atmosphere is lovely, not crowded at all, I met other guests only at the restaurant.
In general the breakfast was of a good quality. However, if you plan to stay there more than 3-4 day you might get bored as the options a-la carte are rather limited and there is no buffet breakfast available.
Also, some hotel amenities and equipment are out-of date like the gym and require some renovation.
Finally, since each villa has its own small garden and swimming pool you should be ready to meet with different animals, such as frogs and geckos as probably everywhere in Bali.

Hotel was nice and each room has its private pool. Bed was also very comfortable. However the cleanliness was very disappointing. I found a dead cockroach on the table next to my bed. The toilet bowl seat was yellowish and dirty. There were a lot of water and soap stains on the mirror and the surrounding of the sink. The floor was also very dusty. My feet were all full of dust after making a round in the room

Spent two night here during our honeymoon. We stayed in room 12 with had a lot of natural light. The room display was fantastic on our arrival with fruit platter and cake. The food was at the hotel was lovely. You aren't near a beach but with the shuttle bus they offer it is only a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic.

If you are looking to spend a couple of nights and want your own privacy i would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice villa but unpleasant experience with staff

My partner and I stayed in Tanadewa for two nights in July. It is a nice, private and clean place but in a remote location. Both of us were happy with the hotel facilities. However I don't think we would go back again due to the terrible experience with the hotel staff. During our stay, we asked the front desk to arrange a day tour with a private driver for us. A male staff showed us a price list, which was 600,000 rupiahs for 10 hours' trip inclusive according to him. We agreed with that price and confirmed we would depart at 11am the next day. However just 1 hour before the departure time, the same staff rang us and said the price is 726,000 rupiahs instead of 600,000 rupiahs, as there is service fees and tax, which was totally contradicted to what he told us previously (not on the price list either). We weren't happy with that, it was rip off apparently, but we were in a very tight schedule, and didn't have time to find another driver on-line, so we decided to go with him (and of course that male staff became our driver for that day!). During the trip, as he is only a hotel staff not a professional tour guide, he couldn't give us any tourism information, and also because of his limited English, it was difficult to communicate efficiently. At the end of the trip, we paid that price he asked for, but never actually got given any receipt. It would be really interesting to know if the hotel actually received our payment or went into his pocket.

Did not live up to expectations

I booked this hotel based off the positive recommendations by others on Expedia. Sad to say, I'm disappointed when I went there. Being the second time there in a few months, my girlfriend and I decided to try a new Villa, and decided to book Tanadewa. Here is my experience:-

1) Luggage was mishandled by the \"professional butler\" that they advertised on their villa page. One of the wheels of the luggage broke off while he carried it from the reception to our Villa. It took them nearly 4 days for their \"engineers\" to fix the luggage. They \"fixed\" it by using glue.

2) The reception was often unoccupied. The previous villa we went to would always have someone there, ready to handle any queries we had. We often found ourselves waiting for someone as we often had to book a taxi to get to where we wanted to go.

3) Shuttle services. They have one bus service going to the Bali Collection, which is an expensive, high-end area of Bali. It'll take you a grand total of one night to visit the entirety of that location.

4) Air-conditioning. Bali, being in the tropical region, is really warm and humid. The air-conditioning in the Villa was horribly warm, and was unable to cool the entire room. I was sweating while I slept.

5) Honesty. Their driver suggested we rent their car at a fee of 200,000 rp when we wanted to go to Seminyak. Do not listen. A taxi is way cheaper. He told us it was about the same price when a taxi costs about 110,000 rp.

GORGEOUS Rooms, Most Helpful Staff Ever

Without a doubt, I will be staying here if I have the pleasure of visiting Bali again. While not on the beach, its location on the top of a hill offers stunning views, particularly from the restaurant. The villas with private pools are not only gorgeously done, but offer a welcome respite at all hours of the day in the Bali heat. And there is not enough to stay about the staff. They were so accommodating and nice.

Overall experience is good. Only few comments, the air conditioning at bedroom is not cold enough. Highly suggest that the hotel should repair or replace the air conditioning. Also, the exhaust fan at toilet is not function well.

The place is spectacular, loved every minute of our stay there. They thought of everything, down to an amazing natural insect repellant to a coffee machine and iPod with a docking station.. Pity people can see into the downstairs entertainment area (pool) from other buildings - we had to always be covered up and that's not exactly what a honeymoon is all about. Other than that we could not complain... Such a lovely place!

Great for couples. 15 mins away from the Nusa Dua centre but free shuttle makes getting there easy. Cab back to Villa is around 40k - 50k rupiah. Villa is luxurious and caters to everything you need. We were impressed with the standard offered at Tanadewa Villas and Spa. Our villa was private and relaxing. No outside noise (No 17), no slamming of doors from rooms nearby, like we have had in other hotels. Lovely layout with the bedroom upstairs and the pool, lounge and meals area downstairs. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Beautiful view of the bay and newly built highway in the distance. Sunset meals and morning breakfasts in the dining area overlooking Nusa Dua were a delight. Overall, a wonderful experience that we hope to do again.

This hotel was the highlight of our holiday

This is a new hotel situated off a main road, between kuta and nusa dua beaches. The main road not really suited to pedestrians leaving us restricted to taxi travel.
The staff were great, the view from the restaurant is fantastic. The villas were well laid out and very comfortable. The pool was a bit cold as it doesn't get much sun (due to the high walls giving great privacy) but after a hot day it's very refreshing. The restaurant/room service menu could use a bit more variety and the food is usually cold by the time you get it (both in room and restaurant).
They've thought of everything when supplying complimentary items to the villas, the usual items were much nicer than what you usually get.

Fantastic villas

This place was fantastic. Its equidistance between the two resorts of Nusa Dua and Jimbarin meaning you can mix up between the two and easily access the new toll road to the rest of the island and the airport. The villas are on two levels with a really large bedroom and bathroom - top quality design and nice view. then downstairs you have a cool living area with a large plunge pool (mini smimming pool) all to yourself (plus a fridge of drinks!). The staff were really great - butler service was friendly, non intrusive and helpful; drivers were also friendly and very informative. the reception staff and breakfast guys were also great.

My wife and I stayed in mi August . When we arrived the staff was so good they went out there way to make you feel welcome ,,the room was very clean and comfortable ,,,,,we stayed for five nights ,, the first butler and reception girl we had for the first 4 days were fantastic,, the second last day we went out for the day. ,,when we returned that night the butler did not clean our room,,,our breakfast. Dishes were still sitting on the table. Rubbish From the night before ,was not removed ,, they changed staff and the quality of service was not the same ,,but over all I will recommend this place to others as we did enjoy our stay and it could of been a mistake on the new staff I. As a less than a year establishment with, as the GM puts it in her welcome letter, \"pot is still cooking\", its service is good as any standard 4-5 star hotel would be. Maybe the \"going over to excite you\" factor just not there yet. But don't get me wrong, the service is prompt and very timely. Every meal or services we ordered/ask for was delivered on time but the eagerness to stress on punctuality has resulted in tea that has gone cold, butter that has melted, toasted bread gone soft. Still we were very happy with very clean villa, the roses and \"swans\" and bubble bath.

The hotel is only a month in operation, but the staff are all very experienced in making customers feel like royalty. The hotel is new and looks marvellous. The villas are 2 storeys featuring a bedroom n bath on the upper floor while the lower floor consists of a living room/ dining room with a private pool. Privacy is ensured with high walls around your pool area. The tanadewa lounge had the BEST view of Bali. I spent my nye countdown there and i saw at least 20 different fireworks display throughout the island at the same time. If your looking for a romantic setting and privacy, do try this hotel. No regrets. The deco, services and cleanliness are 5 star all the way.

Hotel, composé de 18 villas ideal pour couples pour voyage de noces, c’est vraiment très bien décoré. Le petit déjeuner est parfait. Ce n’est pas un buffet mais il est vraiment complet ce que j’ai vraiment apprécié. C’était le professionnalisme et la gentillesse de tout le personnel on s’occupe de vous vous êtes traité comme un pacha mon vol était pour minuit. Ils m’ont permis de faire un check Out à 13h ils m’ont conduit avec leur shutle dans une plage privée qui est vraiment magnifique car ils ont un service gratuit de shuttle à trois endroits à proximité qui sont importants à visiter. Et ensuite on nous a permis de prendre notre douche tranquillement dans le spa, si vous recherchez le calme et que vous êtes exigeant en terme de service, je vous recommande cet hôtel.
