One of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

The air conditioning barely worked, making the room uncomfortably hot during our stay in mid-June. When we reported the issue, staff did not attempt to help and instead told us that “it is not even hot,” despite the obvious discomfort. No fan or alternative solution was offered.

Customer service was unacceptable. Staff were consistently rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to our concerns. We requested an iron multiple times throughout our stay and were repeatedly ignored.

The room also had maintenance issues. The bathroom sink did not drain properly and water accumulated in the basin after use (photos attached). This should have been addressed before the room was assigned to guests.

To make matters worse, the bedsheets were uncomfortable and caused itching throughout our stay.

For the price charged, the lack of basic maintenance, poor customer service, and complete disregard for guest concerns are unacceptable. We gave the hotel multiple opportunities to address these issues, but nothing was done. I would not stay here again and would strongly advise other travelers to consider alternative accommodations.

We stayed at Hotel Brunelleschi in Milan for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very centrally located, just a 4–6 minute walk from the Duomo, which made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and enjoying the heart of Milan.

The staff were professional, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and we felt the price was very reasonable, especially considering the excellent location. The cleaning staff also deserve special mention: they were efficient, polite, and kept everything spotless.

We also enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and beautifully prepared. Overall, Hotel Brunelleschi offered a great combination of comfort, location, service, and value. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Milan.

We felt like this was the executive or royal treatment but I was a little pricy for us. We requested and iron and found out there was a service for that. We would have preferred to do the Ironing ourselves but it was interesting to see how efficiently they got it done . though to us it was an unnecessary expense.

Room was clean. Toilet broken but they let us use the room next to ours. Beds are very firm- hard.
Room was spacious for 2. Clean. Free mini bar a plus. Good toiletries provided.

Pros: Hotel Brunelleschi is very close to Milan Duomo and other places we wanted to visit. The breakfast selection is varied and choices were tasty. Dining staff were very attentive and friendly.

Cons: The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I can remember trying to sleep on and the pillow was just as bad. We did ask for and receive a softer pillow that helped. The WiFi was very unreliable. WiFi frequently stopped working.

The hotel is conveniently located near Milan Cathedral and close to Messori Metro Station, with San Babila Metro Station (Blue Line) also within walking distance, offering a direct connection to Linate Airport. The area is quiet and feels safe. Breakfast offered a good spread with plenty of choice, and the hotel also has a good on-site restaurant. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and quite spacious. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the daily complimentary snacks, bottled water, and canned soda, as well as the in-room facilities for making coffee and other hot drinks. Overall, highly recommended.

The hotel was very good, situated a short walk from the Duomo which was fantastic to visit and go up on the terraces. It was easy to walk to other places we wanted to see. Breakfast was good with a wide range of foods. The room was spacious, pleasant and well equipped and was extremely clean with fresh bedding and towels each day. There was some loud noise in the middle of the night on two nights of banging and people shouting, waking me up so I ended up closing the outer window. The noise was coming from a nightclub across the road which we did not know about.

The location of this hotel is fantastic if you’re staying in Milan. You’re within walking distance of all the main attractions in the core, including just a five-minute walk to Piazza del Duomo.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I speak and understand Italian, but it’s worth noting that the staff also speak English quite well. Makes the experience even more comfortable for international travellers.

The included breakfast was excellent. A great way to start the day. I also appreciated that they didn’t rush guests. One morning I arrived a bit later and there was no pressure at all, which was greatly appreciated.

While the rooms are slightly dated, they are still very comfortable and most importantly clean. I had no complaints whatsoever. Overall, I would absolutely consider staying here again on a future trip to Milan and would recommend it to others visiting the city.

My stay was wonderful . It’s not the most modern but it was clean and that’s all that matters . Staff very friendly and helpful. I have mention our house keepers Lucia and Nimfah, they did a wonderful job keeping our room clean. Breakfast was great with wide variety to choose from and included with our booking . What I love most about this hotel is the location . It’s located right in the central area in Milan walking distance to everything . The Milan cathedral located right around the corner from hotel not even five minutes walk. Various restaurants , night club , shopping mall and a lot of stores to shop. I would definitely stay here again .

The hotel photos truly don’t do this place justice. Our room was spotless, and the property as a whole is well-maintained. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo and surrounded by great restaurants and convenient metro access. Breakfast was great and a huge plus that it was included in the room rate.
I visited during the Olympics and booked last minute, and even then I was able to extend my stay twice and keep the same room, which I really appreciated.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the temperature in the hallways and rooms,. The heating felt too high, so we had to sleep with the windows open. Thankfully we had earplugs, as the street noise outside is quite loud. It also would have been helpful if the cleaning staff left the windows open after servicing the room to keep it cooler.
Overall, a great stay and I would return.

I stayed here during the Olympics so was quite expensive (circa £220/night for a double plus €10/night tax) - and room seemed basic for that price. However have to expect it to be dearer then. I found the room FAR TOO hot, 25c when I arrived - slept with the window open as far as it would go so would caution a summer stay. The room had amenities like toothbrush, free mini bar (didn’t know that!) and really all I needed. Seemed clean enough though not 100% on bathroom floor - but I used the complimentary slippers. The staff were friendly - receptionist always seemed to be on duty & quickly recognised me. The hotel is so convenient, 7mins walk to Duomo and Duomo Metro, less to Missori metro. Breakfast was perfect too. I’d not hesitate to recommend this hotel, just be aware of the heat. Oh and the sound proofing - when someone flushes the toilet/ runs a shower the plumbing is really noisy. I didn’t hear TVs or anything though. (Star off because he never spent so much on a hotel where the room felt basic and yet did admittedly have all I needed).

Well when you pay Olympic prices, you get the best the hotel has to offer! So on the first floor above reception area, we had a large suite facing street with large windows and a sofa bed with accessible table/chair nearby! Bathtub is rather dangerous with very steep sides, but gentle jets! But the best was Marco, who could be an excellent concierge in any hotel! Very smart and helpful! The other draw should certainly be the enormous breakfast-spread arranged for guests! Absolutely loved it with caring staff keeping everything spic and span! Room cleaned daily and clean sheets provided during our ten day stay for Olympics 2026. No complaints, but we like hotels with character! Jean Short

Bed was comfortable and water pressure good. The room was very hot, I turned down the temp as much as possible. Didn't help much so opened the window. The room was facing the street so it was pretty noisy early morning however there is a nightclub up the street so lots of noise 2-4am on the weekend. Staff not overly friendly but professional.

Only complaints were that overall the hotel is dated and in need of renovation, hallways and some of the rooms smelled smokey (we had to ask to change rooms because of the smoke smell and were accommodated immediately), and breakfast is too \"intense\" with the staff watching your every move and picking up your plates the second you lift your last bite.
