This hotel doesn’t post anywhere that I saw that it has no elevator , tons of stairs to walk up hill to the lobby and then to the rooms. Just imagine how it feels like to do it with luggages . I actually came back home sick and tiered having to spend so much energy in a “vacation” there is no one to help you when you arrive !! . Also, at the check-in they ask for breakfest fee and when we got up late and I asked to cancel the breakfast, the front desk refused to do that. It just hard to believe they can treat guests like that. Also, we were locked out the property at night at no time during check-in did they tell us that the door will be locked and what to do in order to get in.

Very picturesque hotel - great view of the sea when eating breakfast. Nice breakfast. Has a few hotel parking spaces and more free parking on the street right by it. No elevator that I know of...and a flight of steps from the parking. Zikhron Ya'aqov is a lovely little town to visit.

The bathroom smelled moldy. The sink did not drain from the minute we checked in. Towels paper thin. Ehenyou flushed toilet the seat got wet. Old pillows that should have been thrown out because they were lumpy. Just not an appealing place to stay. Hot tub had dead bugs and leaves in it.

The only negative is the lack of easy access. There are many stone steps to reach the hotel and no elevator in the hotel itself. People with heavy luggage or physical problems would find it difficult. It is an easy walk to the shopping and eating area or town. We highly recommend the Tishbi restaurant in town as well as a visit to the winery. The breakfast buffet is lovely and delicious. The staff is very helpful and gracious. This was our second visit and we hope to return.

- From parking to building is a steep climb and there is no elevator inside either, regardless of floor
- We received a less than friendly reception upon arrival.
- The jacuzzi was not heated and the staff showed no willingness to correct the situation

Lovely hotel near main sites in Zichron Yaacov

Lovely family run hotel 15 minute walk from the main street of Zichron Yaacov. Great staff and service. Nice breakfast for 50 shekels per person extra.

There is no elevator, so request lower floor if climbing steps is a problem.

Nice small hotel.We reserved a standard room and it was very comfortable and well eqipped.The bathroom was very smalland included bathtub. Breakfast ws very good, served in the hotel\"s restaurant, with an amazing panorama of the seashore.Breakfast is served only after 8 a.m, which is very unusual ,and inconvenient if you want to leave early. It is a 3-stories building, without lift, and the Reception is in flight upstairs from street level.

Wonderful hotel and location. Incredible breakfast. Short walk to very nice, pedestrian mall centered town. Very convenient to northern Mediterranean locations in Israel such as Acre, Haifa, and Caesaria. This is my second time staying here and have not been extremely pleased both times. The room is extremely comfortable but the only negative is that there are stairs from the street (which has plenty of parking) to the entrance and inside the hotel but staff offers to help with luggage.

Would recommend the hotel to those who are budget conscious - as we were. Please note, there are quite a few steps up to the lobby and then steps up to the rooms. The front desk did send someone to help us. The rooms need some upgrading, but as noted, it was clean. The hotel is located in a neighborhood - not in the heart of town. You will need a car to get to the center of town, the winery, etc. I supposed you can walk, but it is hilly and steep. The view from the dining room is just beautiful and there is an outdoor patio as well.

Would stay again. Located 10 to 15 mins walk from town centre, stunning views towards the coast. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms and beds. Very clean. Everything worked.
No lift, but staff more than happy to help with luggage to our room on 3rd floor
Reception unmanned after 9.30pm with emergency contact number available thereafter.

Great location, not so great service

Hello, the excellent location of the hotel, easy walk to Boulevard by the sea, and lots of little vendors in the area make the hotel an attraction. However, the evening service was not friendly (and very limited English). The AC did not work ... probably like a lot of Israel hotels, when they are \"in transtion\", they don't cool . This made the room too warm to sleep. We lost a valuable night of sleep. :( Also, the toilet had a leak but no one answered phone ...

For a local Israeli hotel, staff were unusually cold. Nothing wrong, but nothing above average either. You get a room that’s clean and reliable, and that’s about it. Given that i paid around $200 a night for a double, that seems insufficient.

Nicely located hotel with easy parkonh

This hotel has a lovely hillside setting. The decor is old fashioned and needs a rethink and update.
Limited English TV stations. The restaurant is NOT recommended for dinner. Breakfast was fine.

Jacuzzi tub not tried but it is there.

Piped music everywhere which spoils the peaceful pretty countryside ambience.

a very warm family hotel - needs a face lifet

it's a mix review - there are a number of wonderful things and a few things that need improvements. As people wrote before me, the small hotel is family owned , lovely people very accommodating as the staff in the restaurant. Hotel it has 25 rooms, separated into 3 floors, as far as I could see only one room is facing west - to the Mediterranean sea!
so basically you can see the amazing view only from the hotel restaurant. the room is clean, small, decorated in a very simple way, and the bathroom was very clean - a bit small and needs a soap dish and a face lift of the tiles into one color.
We had breakfast there as well, nice variety to choose from - bread basket could improve on the quality of the bread and needs a cover to prevent the bread from drying out.

charming, lots of character, very warm staff

if you can do the stairs - one full flight from the road and then a 3 storey inn with no elevator - then you will love this place. very clean, very warm staff, full of character, sit on the covered verandah in front and gaze at the mediterranean, short drive to the main drag in the quaint town.

Fantastic Stay in Zichron yaa'kov.

Really enjoyed it, could have stayed there a week easily. Was so relaxing to wake up and sip coffee on the balcony overlooking the mediterranean and the coastal plain. And the cafes and wine shops in town were great to visit at night.

Disappointing Hotel - Poor Service

My stay at the hotel was mediocre at best. The room was fine but had ants by the refrigerator. The hotel is run down and has no lobby. The owner who works at the front desk had no manners and was uninterested in providing any service.

hotel stay was fine. property appears nice, although dated. Extremely loud with the wind. Disappointed that hotel did not honor the rate quoted by expedia. will be disputing charge with my credit card against what should ahve been charged. showed up with 3 people, had booked double room with extra guest fee showing. hotel put third person in second room, and then charged for an entire room on top of additional charge. Felt like we were cheated. makes me question what other corners the hotel may be cutting. disappointing. Not within walking distance of the main area of zichron ya'akov.

did not bring up extra charge until morning after, should have brought up at the least the night before to give us the option to pursue other options at that time. felt manipulated.

Great Hotel !!!

The Beit Maimon hotel is one of this unique boutique hotel that have all what in needs to make your stay perfect , great hospitality and atmosphere from family that own the place , great location with a view all the way to the mediterenian sea, Great Israeli breakfast on a lovely balcony, great rooms, and what's not less important short proximity to the great old town of Zichron with great resturant and capture , and to the Med sea.
I repeatedly come to this hotel every time I visit Israel , and the quality is consistent. Highly recommend it for both business and pleasure visit.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived very late at night, and the front desk person was waiting for us. He was extremely helpful. The hotel had beautiful views of the sea, and we enjoyed eating breakfast outside. Restaurants and pubs were in easy walking distance. We would definitely go back to this hotel again.

The description of the hotel was 'boutique ' hotel. I think it would be better described as a Motel not a hotel!!!! It was shabby and one had to be extremely fit to climb all the stairs as there wasn't a lift which was not stated in their description. The outdoor pool was a joke!!!! Having said all that the view from the front veranda was lovely and breakfast was adequate.

Didn't feel comfortable or able to chill at the hotel so spent our time walking Haifa. Wifi is free in the lobby but the lobby closes at 9.30pm so unless you pay for wifi after hours, it's not available (unless you sit on the stairs or outside). The TV channels are very limited, as is the sound.

Overall very average and somewhat disappointing - looks so much nicer on the website.

Beautiful place but no security at night

The place was very pretty. There are a lot of stairs at the entrance and to the rooms so not handicap accessible if that's a necessity. The garden is a nice place to sit and have coffee. Cute, small pool was clean and perfect to play in with our little one. Wished there were chairs to lay and sun in. Only a few seats around the pool in the shade. The rooms were clean and arranged very nicely. I loved the bed. Very comfortable, and there was an extra cot for our child that pushed up against our bed to made one very big family bed which I loved. The free breakfast was awesome with tons of cheeses, omelettes and even a basket of oranges and a juice press to squeeze your own fresh juice. Very nice touch. There was only one but very serious issue with the place. There was no security or staff on call after 9:30pm. There was an incident in the room adjacent to us, a domestic situation that went on for hours in the middle of the night in which a man was beating up and yelling at his female companion. It was very upsetting, kept us up the entire night and really ruined our stay. It made us feel very unsafe once we realized that there was no one in the building to handle a situation like this or to make sure that guests are safe.
