Very short business trip. This hotel was centrally located. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. lots of restaurants, shops, etc. and the very from the room was nice. It is an old building that is a bit worn are the seams, but otherwise just fine.

Very well positioned hotel for exploring Pau on foot and also very close to an underground car park. A little tricky to navigate to on the first visit but very convenient for sites and restaurants.
Room wasn't huge but it is the kind of hotel you use for a base and don't otherwise spend time in it. The Le Bourbon was clean and the staff, as far as we needed to deal with them, were friendly and effiicint.

We went to Pau for the Historique Grand Prix racing weekend and as we had flown we wanted a hotel which was central. It was in walking distance from the shops, cafes and restaurants and also not far from where the event was held. We had a room overlooking the square and although the windows weren't double glazed we didn't experience much noise. The room was clean and comfortable, the furnishings were functional and tasteful and the bathroom fittings were adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. We would definitely stay there again as it was good value and a good location.

Our room on the third floor was recently refurbished and very much better than we would have expected for a 2 star hotel. Lift access was a bonus. The location is very central to the squares, old town, Boulevard des Pyrenees, the Castle and to many restaurants.
The continental breakfast was very adequate but there are many cafes nearby where a more interesting breakfast could probably be had for the same money.
The manager was very courteous and hard working and very helpful on reception, as a porter and as concierge.
Would recommend others staying there.
Car parking rates in the public car park were also very reasonable for overnight parking.

Es handelt sich hier um ein sehr altes Haus, welches durch seine Lage und Atmosphäre besticht. Der Empfang ist sehr herzlich, die Zimmer einfach, aber gemütlich und mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den grossen Platz davor sowie über die Stadt (4.Stock), das Frühstück ist typisch französisch, also recht einfach aber ausreichend. Wir würden hier gern wieder übernachten.

Par contre pas apprécié le commentaire du gardien de nuit, à notre arrivée tardive, nous disant que nous étions les derniers et idem le matin, en allant rendre la clé \"vous êtes arrivés à 3 h...\"; déjà il n'était pas 3 h et en quoi ça les regarde; nous avons passé l'âge d'être chaperonné ! À 8 h du matin, les portes qui claquent, les gens qui parlent fort et la femme de ménage qui passe l'aspirateur...Bref, nous n'y repartirons pas.

L’hôtel est bien situé et le personnel très agréable.
La chambre bien qu’un peu vilellotte avec sa moquette bleue à motifs, disposait d’un volet roulant (En plus de rideaux occultants) pour couper de l’éclairage et accessoirement du son de la place.
Le rapport qualité prix est bien là et j’y retournerai sans hésiter.

Emplacement central,proche des restaurants etc...et malgré cela trés calme, les fenêtres sont bien insonorisées. Je me suis garé gratuit prés de la gare,un funiculaire permet de rejoint le centre. Impec.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt an der Place Clemenceau. In der darunter gelegenen Tiefgarage kann man problemlos parken (8€ bis zum nächsten Morgen). Die Stadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants etc. sind leicht zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber und für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung, der Service korrekt. Frühstück haben wir nicht genommen ( direkt um die Ecke sind mehrere schöne Cafés mit Frühstücksangebot.)
