Great Stay in Semarang

The property is a bit old, however there are benefits with older ones. Room was larger than newer hotels, but most importantly it was clean, staff were very polite and friendly, and the location is best.
The lobby was also spacious and very welcoming.

I didnot realize this hotel condition is very old and dirty now. This hotel used to be my favorite hotel before covid. Time changed. Not anymore. I would rather stay at Tentrem Hotel if I know there is Tentrem nearby. So sorry. Lobby staff are very friendly. Some staff in breakfast area seemed not happy to be there. Room ran down. Bathroom is very dirty and old. Good thing is in the mall. Not very secure because public can in and out from shopping entrance door and very shock when elevator not secured from that side. I dont know it’s only that night or always been like that without none pay attention. Unfortunately will not come back even for free. So sorry.

My opinion.

hospitality up front was good. I'm a bit disappointed cause I've asked twice for extra pillows and they still never came to my room to give them to me. In the past, before Covid, during breakfast, someone would always ask me if I'd like coffee or tea, unfortunately this time, no one did. The towels they have in our room looked like it was from 20 yrs ago. but overall, for the money i paid to stay there, it was 'Ok\"

Check in was very efficient, room was on the small side. Temperature control for the AC was through fan speed, could not find a thermostat. The hotel is somewhat dated and in need of a update. Elevators (3 only) are quite small and on weekends make for crowded conditions and long waits. On checkout had to wait 45 minutes for luggage to be brought down to the lobby. Hotel is connected to a mall which is convenient.

This hotel has great quality with value for money. Upon arrival they ensured my family were treated well with a free drink and free afternoon tea. This was welcome after a day of travelling. Within the room there were free snacks ready for us. The room was classy style and clean. Nice to have a bath tub. Breakfast was also great, and included with the room, thank you to the hotel for offering breakfast to our third guest at half price.

The property had all the necessities, although the location was ultra busy and it was centrally located.
Did not like:
The swimming pool needs some sort of overhead cover (mesh. etc), the sun is directly overhead most of the day and the temperature averages in the 30s degree Celcius year round.

Staff are friendly . Room is good . Only the gym equipments are too old . Swimming pool is not big enough . Location is very good with shopping mall just next to it with easy access to the mall right from the hotel door .. breakfast is good . Service at the Restaurent is also v good .

Convenient to go to local shopping mall.room itself is clean enough.but the area near hotel is dirty and loud, so outdoor swiming pool is not enjoyable due to the car sound, air pollution and smell from out of hotel. wifi and Breakfast is good. Service is soso, I asked where I can do money exchange and the front desk guy answered quickly, ' I don't know'...! That is it. I stayed 2nights here and moved to wimarion hotel for another 2nights. wimarion front desk tried to help me to find the answer for my questions and very much helpful. I appreciate. Wimarion is mordern and new, very fast WiFi, well decorated and peaceful swimming pool and clean neighborhood in wimarion hotel. I strongly recommend to go to hotel wimarion than hotel ciputra

It was a huge disappointment. The hotel, the room was so outdated and depressing. The condition of the room was kind of miserable and not very clean so there were things that I didnt even want to touch. It’s hard to believe this is a 4 star hotel..

A few positive things were the location and staff.
The location is perfectly convenient and staff were very polite and helpful.

Not great but not many good choices around

There aren’t many good choices in Semarang. After the Crowne Plaza changed hands, it went immediately downhill fast. I am still searching for another go to hotel as I travel here regularly. My room at the Ciputra this time was infested with roaches. Still looking.

Over rated in overall. 1 issue about the restaurant for breakfast that insufficient during the peak time (07:30 - 08:30). Facilities for smoker on the restaurant is also disturbing. It might be better if it would be full non-smoking area.

Dirty hotel :(

Smoking is allowed throughout the hotel, even in the restaurant so this was really unpleasant, even though they tried to divide it, it was still smelly and uncomfortable. My room was dirty, food on the floor from previous guests, bath tub was dirty, towels were grubby and lots of stains on the bed sheets. Also, no iron available in the hotel!

Good location, integrated with modern shopping mall. Average breakfast without a large selection but still OK. Pool open from 0600-2100, about 20m/10m, depth from 1.2m to 1.4m approx. Delicious 24hr room service. A little jaded hotel but OK overall. A safe choice for first time travelers to the city.

The location is right in the center and is ALSO Attached to a big mall. Very convenient. Check in check out without hassle and very quick, employees are friendly, well-maintained facilities. The bed is so-so (I've had better for its stars). Tv channels are varied from hbo to cartoon network.

\"FREE WIFI\" in room

I could only use this for less than 10 minutes and on the first day of my four day stay. To be fair, a staff member came to my room on a number of occasions and problem could not be solved. The message I got was \"cannot connect to sever\". I believe this \"free wifi\" is used as a marketing ploy to entice customers. The wifi at the lobby and restaurant met my requirements.

Great Location

Hotel staff were exceedingly helpful. Their English was quite good as well. Everyone was ready to serve the hotel guests. Breakfast selections were plentiful and wifi was strong. Attached to a shopping mall. This gave ample restaurant selections in the food court. Hotel was across the street from a huge square/park where there were family activities in the evening like bicycles built for 2 or 3 rentals. Fun! The first room we got had an amazing view but had a strong musty odor. We asked to be moved and were sent from the 7th to the 6th floor. The 6th floor was better but was still musty smelling.

Hotel Ciputra in the heart of Jakarta was a good position for shopping but the hotel , especially the rooms were a little tired and need updating. Wanted to upgrade my room and the rack rate diference was $25 but reception wanted $80 so didnt do that. Hotel conveinent but you can get better for a lot less

Accomodatie is prima en van goed niveau. Helaas was de badkamer vies en slecht onderhouden. Na een klacht hierover kregen we een upgrade naar een mooie ruime kamer. Daar was de badkamer erg ruim en heel schoon. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en betrokken. Ontbijt op niveau maar vooral op lokale reizigers gericht. Beperkt aanbid voor internationale reizigers. Zwembad is schoon en goed onderhouden. Fitness ziet er ruik en professioneel uit.

스마랑에서 가격 대비해서 이만한 호텔은 없다고 생각합니다. 보안도 잘 되어 있고 청결하며 일을 보기에는 최고입니다. 앞에 있는 공원도 시각적으로 매우 힐링이 되고 또 산책하기에도 최고입니다. 헬스시설과 수영장 등도 작지만 아담하고 활용하기에는 최고입니다. 주위 편의시설도 좋구요. 지금은 코로나 때문에 주변 시설이 많이 문을 닫았지만, 그래도 필요한 시설들은 문을 열었어요. 그냥 편하고 좋습니다.
