The location of the hotel is good, close to Malioboro Street (the main shopping area). The staff welcomed us with a cool and refreshing drink. However, the condition of our bathroom does not match the 5-star \"luxury\" rating. The vanity and the bathroom door are basically covered by some adhesive materials. It feels like a 2-star hotel!

The buffet breakfast is decent, offering a variety of choices. Nevertheless, I did expect more since it's a 5-star hotel.

Overall, the hotel did not live up to my 5-star expectations!

Check-in with Wawan was excellent and very welcoming. Our room (512) was spacious and had access to a balcony. While both the room and the hotel overall could benefit from an upgrade, everything was clean and well maintained. In-room amenities were fairly minimal, and complimentary bottled water was quite limited.

We tried the weekend dinner buffet, which was okay, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of choices. However, breakfast was very busy on the weekend and difficult to navigate—I’d recommend going early to avoid the crowds. On one morning when we had an early tour, the hotel thoughtfully provided us with a boxed breakfast, which we appreciated.

The gym was dated but sufficient for a basic workout. The spa was also older, though the service itself was good. Food options within the hotel were somewhat limited, but the Chinese restaurant was excellent and definitely a highlight.

The hotel’s location was also very convenient, with Malioboro Street within easy walking distance.

The property was fine and the gardens are lovely but I had 2 of the water bottles in my room during my 3 night stay had broken seals so may have been refilled. Also, I would not recommend the weekend BBQ dinner. Despite having a reservation that I confirmed twice there was no table for me. The food was very bland and much better food exists outside of the hotel.

The street noise never stops, dont pay extra for a balcony on street side, i was there for 5 nights and they gave the street side and a street musician with amplifier playes the same song from 0730 to midnight 7 days a week , he has a crew of panhandlers shift through the traffic at the light immediately in front the hotel begging for money the hotel will do squat about it do not stay in this hotel.. its literally one guy with an electric guitar and amplifiers playing the same song over and over it wont matter how many times you complain the hotel will do nothing untill you ask for another room but you wont get a balcony you paid for .. easier just to not stay here

たったのニ泊でしたが、とても快適に過ごせました。朝食も美味しいし、スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで親切でした。
部屋にはバルコニーが付いていて、プールのある中庭を眺めることができました。バスタブとシャワールームが独立していて、日本人にはとても快適な環境でした。
場所もマリオボロ通りに歩いていけますし、grabでどこにでも連れて行ってもらえました。
またジョグジャカルタを訪れたら必ず泊まりたいと思います。

We were in Yogyakarta to visit Prambanan. about 50mins away by taxi - Fantastic.. Centrally located and designed for Indonesian tourists and business guests, the hotel was a pleasant stay, and only 5 minutes walk from the main shopping area along Maliboro street. 10 minutes via rickshaw from Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat, the royal palace, although a little disappointing. n.b n.b n.b. There are two airports in Yogyakarta, one 20 mins away and one 1.5 hours away, depending on traffic. Make sure you know which one you're flying out from......

My husband and I stayed in a \"Level\" room at Melia and absolutely loved our stay. Access to the \"Level\" lounge in the early evening was excellent and the included snacks and drinks were a very welcome treat after touring all day. The lounge itself, though small, was comfortable, relaxing and never very busy during our stay. The staff were also wonderful! The location of the Melia was amazing and very close to the action! Breakfast was buffet and had plenty of choices. Finally, the pool was clean, quiet and refreshing in such a hot climate. We would definitely recommend Melia Purosani and would stay again!

Pleasant oasis in a busy city

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, especially the pool area. The breakfast buffet was very good with fresh fruit, and egg station and plenty of Asian food options. There are 3 restaurants to choose from, Chinese, Italian and the main restaurant. Dinners were a little below expectations m, we did enjoy the Chinese restaurant but the pizza in the Italian restaurant was quite good. I ordered the chicken breast in the main and was served a chicken leg that was definitely reheated.

The hotel is an older hotel but the room was well maintained and comfortable. We slept well.

The pool was the main reason we chose the hotel and it was great to cool down after a long day of sightseeing. Towels are provided and you can order drinks and snacks poolside. Some of the planting is a bit sparse and could use a refresh but overall it is a pleasant place to relax.

There is an onsite tour office that can organize your airport transportation and sightseeing, but be prepared to pay a premium. We used grab to get around and found it efficient and very reasonably priced.

The stay was comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel needs refurbishing as it is showing its age but the rooms importantly is clean and comfortable. Location is central but as it is near the road it can get noisy at night and weekends. The pool is also small and not easy to swim more like wade around. But still one of the better hotels in the atea.

Je rejoins par contre d'autres commentaires concernant la chambre la salle de bain aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement et l'odeur de remontée est bien présente. 冷房がきつくて、オフにしても寒くて寝れなかったので毛布をもらった。
ホテル自体は快適だが、ミネラルウォーターが無い日やハンドタオルがない日があったので星4つ。

I spent 4 nights with my kid to visit Jogyakarta and have some relax time in this kind of hotel. The location is excellent, at walking distance to Malioboro street and short time by taxi to other city highlights. Room was big with plenty of space to store lugagge/clothes, comfortable twin beds and view to the nice pool area. Pool may need more lying beds as they get full fast. Breakfast needs improvement as there are not many options. We had dinner a couple of times in El Patio and Chinese restaurant, which has excellent food. Service is friendly and efficient. I would come back.

I have stayed here a few times when visiting Yogya with friends. It’s comfortable and fine. But I’m noticing it’s not as nice as it was previously. The food options are not as good and not as fresh. It’s hard to get a good cup of tea. The service was slow. I used to think it was a great hotel in the middle of the city, it’s not as great an option any more but it is fine.

Needs Maintenance and AC that works

Spend a lot of nights in Hotels and understand sometimes things go wrong! That said on night 1 we tried 3 rooms and all were hot with the room temperature hovering around 25 when the thermostat had been at 18.5 for hours. Never got to a cool room. On my last morning had a cool shower (seemed they were out of hot water)…guess that helps to offset the no working AC!
Staff are nice and friendly but a good percentage seem to need training, particularly at the front desk where everyday hotel transactions are a challenge and require multiple people.

Pool area is nice, food is average hotel food.

The service was very good, but a few things were not, ie:
1. The wi-fi service did not work on the first floor of the junior suite. That was a big problem for my husband who had to do some work remotely.
2. The bed linen and towels were white at some point, but it was a very long time ago.
3. The water pressure in the shower cabin was very low.
4. The breakfast and dinner buffet were average.

Hotel that had it’s glories times, with really bad maintenance, looks dirty in común areas and also in rooms. Bathrooms are very old and need a remodelación, giving a horrible perception to guess.
Have to mention that personal is very NICE and their service is GREAT , this is the only difference at hotel
Guess type are people with really bad manners in all areas including restaurants as some of them with the feet on the chairs and eating horrible, (Sales department at hotel, you need to look for the kind of guess that you want at your hotel )
Breakfast is good but will be better if there is people NOT having cleanliness when serving food . My humble comment is “not to have buffet because of guess dirty”
Have to mention that is hotel is well ranked in Hotel.com and others places but for me should be a 6. For a little bit of the price better you can get a Better ranking hotel , because is not a cheap hotel in the city , comparing to other hotels there. Choose this one because of the Brand , but not worth it
Melia corporate area in Madrid need to check the standards for this hotel .

Location is great, 5 mins walking distance from Marioboro. Lots of good food around the hotel, or just a short drive in grab. The hotel itself has good food too!! Great hotel breakfast, lots of options. We also tried the hotel food for dinner (steak, soto and carbornonara) , also amazing and it was so good.

In terms of service, their staff gave us 5 star service, always helpful, always polite. Amazing. I have nothing bad to say abt this hotel. Will be back again some day, soon.

Relaxing and well located

Very good and relaxing time at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and competent.
Small hiccup, the shower door was not closing perfectly leading the water to leak out

The GOOD:
The room was clean and tidy.
The service by all hotel staff was excellent.
The BAD:
None
The MEDIOCRE:
The shower in the shower room only gives water.
(But I can take a warm shower near bathtub)

about ASTRINDO Travel services(in the hotel)
The GOOD:
The service by front staff was excellent.
During my tour,the driver was professional and he also entertained me all the way.
The BAD:
I was charged a fare 150000 RUPIAH from hotel to Adisutjipto airport by the company's driver (diffrent driver from above).
It was early morning (5:30 am),but to think about the distance (10km,30min) It's expensive.There must be his car Ferrari with Toyota emblem.
