Este lugar es un sueño, cada rincón, las vistas, la habitación rodeada de naturaleza con sus ovejas y viñedos. El spa es increíble además de bello. Las piscinas una más bella que otra. Es un lugar con muchos detalles y espacios increíbles. Sentarse en el bar a ver el atardecer con los valles de la Toscana es una experiencia que no debe faltar. Yo sin duda volveré. Gracias, toda la estancia estuvo perfecta. Serán días inolvidables.

Everything about this hotel and property is amazing. The grounds were built on an original land that was used as a farm so the views of the surroundings are 360° of breathtaking views of tuscany! The property offers multiple amenities including their amazing infinity pool and bottega bar overlooking the amazing sunset eveynight!
The service of the employees of the property was amazing. I truly recommend this property and stay if you are looking to relax and enjoy tuscany at it’s full potential!

If you enjoy peace, tranquillity, the Italian countryside, and an ethos that embraces sustainability (without any compromise on a luxury experience) then this is your spirit home away from home.
The facility and surrounding countryside is stunning. The staff are exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable about the produce and the experience on offer. The food was outstanding in both the restaurants, and the fact that all produce used in the restaurants is sourced from no more than 20 miles away (although most is self produced on the property) is testament to the outstanding chefs working there.
The pool was beautiful, the rooms were luxurious without being over the top. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was great and the whole complex was always spotlessly clean.
I cannot speak highly enough about this little piece of heaven on earth. If you like partying this isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a place to wind down and enjoy the peace and some beautiful food, then you won’t be able to help but love it here.

It was perfect accommodations , the staff was extremely kind and helpful for anything needed and the facilities were exceptional .

They took their time to help me with a small explanation when i inquired about my final billing and cleared up any confusions i had in a timely manner without delay via email .

Would love to revisit and will be telling friends and family of our experience .

This is a special and beautiful place. We spent 2 nights in a junior suite.. Breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant is very nice. The spa is beautiful and the services are excellent. We will definitely return.

The gym is a great addition, well-equipped and convenient. The spa is fantastic, though some amenities like the sauna, showers, and relaxation areas aren’t included unless you’re staying in one of the wellness rooms, which is a bit unusual compared to other luxury spas. Still, the overall experience is top-notch, and I’d highly recommend it for a luxurious getaway!\"

We had the most amazing time here. The staff were so helpful and genuine. Rita was very helpful! She booked our transportation and was able to accommodate for us.
The rooms were very clean and updated.
The breakfast was beyond.
We did the wine tasting- the most amazing wine tasting experience I’ve ever had.
We also got a massage- this was amazing too. So relaxing.
The pool was amazing as well. Very clean.
This place is truly magical. Out of a painting. I’ll forever hold a memory of this place in my heart.

Had an amazing time staying here for our honeymoon. Property is stunning. Rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Inifinity pools looking over vineyards are iconic and a dream. The food was incredible and so fresh. I can’t wait to be able to return one day! Perfect romantic destination!

Pros:
- very nice view of the valley in the hotel and beautiful design of the lounge near reception
- Nice trails to walk in the villa
- Friendly staff at checkin to show around
- Welcome gifts in the room
- The free wellness path experience comes with the wellness room we booked is super relaxing
Cons:
- not a very convenient location comparing to other areas in Tuscany, have to drive more than 1 hours if you want to visit Florence or Siena
- water pressure is not high and hot water temperature is not very high in the room
- The mirror light is constantly on in the bathroom, which is quite bothersome when sleeping since we are very sensitive to lights at night, we talked to the staff about that but they said it’s courtesy lights they have no way to turn it off so we have to close the bathroom door to block it, which is still not convenient for nighttime bathroom access. IMO this courtesy light is not necessary since they also have another sound-control light in the bathroom for night use as well.
- The restaurant experience is not great for the first day. The staffs might be busy and forget to serve us the bread and in-house small appetizer, which makes the dining experiences short and awkward. The second day we were in the restaurant we got the bread and in-house appetizer, so first day they must forget about it. Even after mentioning this problem at checkout time, the staffs didn’t do anything (discount/waive coperto charge) about this.

Heaven truly exists. It’s because of this place at villa petriolo. I came solo and had the most amazing, healing time. The spa, gym, fire pit and areas to relax/ decompress was like nothing else. It was a true Tuscany experience. The staff here all made me feel welcome and seeing them everyday for 5 days, was truly so special. Thank you all for making it a place to remember. It felt like home and when I got in the car to leave, tears flooded my eyes. I can’t wait to come back one day again. Top notch experience. Brava.

Stunning experience, stunning villa.

This villa was absolutely perfect. From the amazing pool, the views, the spa, the animals, the drinks, the different sitting areas, the amazing rooms and the service of everyone at this villa was incredibly luxurious. We cannot say enough good things about everything and everyone at the hotel, even down to the amazing private driver they arranged for us to go back and forth to Florence, 10/10. Stunning experience. The staff was amazing. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurants was fantastic. The spa and the staff in the spa was also wonderful and the truffle hunting with the dog was fun. Alex, the young man who took us to truffle Hunt was very personable. Naomi and the restaurant remembered how we liked our bread on the second day we were there. The staff here is top-notch and it was a beautiful clean resort. I would absolutely Stay there again

Beautiful hotel and great for couples. Pool was large and had a beautiful view of the farm. Gym was also very equipped with the newest techno gym machines. A few things I would've expected from a 5* hotel would be body lotion to come as a standard in the room - we were told we had to buy this. Water came complimentary the first night but wasn't refilled. Not allowed to eat by the pool and there were not many waiting staff during the day at the pool area so we had to order at the bar several times and take our drinks down. Restaurants were lovely and good selection of options.

The villa is new, secluded, romantic, and has very warm and welcoming employees. The experiences they offer, however, were overpriced. We took the Medici Cooking Class, and while we liked the chef who was very nice and informative, we barely got to actually cook anything (only helped make the pasta dough). We also booked the horse riding experience which happens off the property and goes around a simple field on what is a dirt road, and we had expected to learn at least a little about the property and vineyards but there were no explanations given; however the horseback riding itself was fun and the people were nice and offered us a drink after with them. PS encompasses the ideology of sustainability and the chef takes on the challenge of working only with seasonal and local ingredients masterfully - it was quite an experience but would warn those with more particular / selective palates to review the menu as the flavors are not necessarily for the masses.
Overall, Villa Petriolo was beautiful and very romantic and quiet, but like mentioned, the experiences seemed a bit overpriced.

A dream stay that deserves more than 5 stars! I chose Villa Petriolo for its absolute calm in the heart of Tuscany and its proximity to Florence, but most importantly, as the setting for my marriage proposal. I couldn't have picked a more perfect place.

The estate is breathtaking, the rooms are flawless, and the facilities are of an incredible standard. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade for one night from the manager, a gesture that truly touched us and made our stay even more special.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. I want to give a special thanks to Lucia and Rita, who were so enthusiastic about my proposal plans. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect spot on the property to pop the question at sunset. Their support and kindness made the moment even more magical.

The culinary experience was equally impressive. Having a 1-star Michelin restaurant on-site is a huge plus, and the quality of the breakfast was simply outstanding - one of the best we’ve ever had.

If you are looking for luxury, peace, and world-class service in Tuscany, I cannot recommend Villa Petriolo enough. Thank you to the entire team, the manager, and especially Lucia and Rita for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in der Villa Petriolo. Die Anlage macht auf den ersten Blick wirklich etwas her: Sehr gepflegte Poolbereiche, ein toller Spa-Bereich (wenn man ihn dann nutzen darf) und alles sehr sauber. Auch die Herren an der Bar und Rezeption waren freundlich, leider der einzige Lichtblick im Service.

Leider überwiegt das Negative:

Schon beim Check-in wurde uns nicht einmal die Anlage gezeigt, keine Infos zu Angeboten oder Orientierung, man fühlt sich als Gast irgendwie „abgefertigt“. Besonders enttäuschend: Obwohl das Hotel als Spa-Hotel beworben wird, ist der Spa-Bereich nur gegen hohen Aufpreis nutzbar das ist bei den ohnehin gehobenen Zimmerpreisen nicht nachvollziehbar.

Das Personal (außer Bar/Rezeption) war durchgehend unfreundlich bis genervt, kein Lächeln, keine Gastfreundschaft, schade, denn die Location hätte Potenzial.

Die Poolliegen waren leider verschmutzt und ungepflegt, was den sonst schönen Außenbereich ziemlich abwertet.

Das Restaurant bietet zwar gute Qualität, aber keine Abwechslung: Täglich die gleichen Speisen, wenig Kreativität. Zudem lief der Service dort eher nach dem Motto “schnell abarbeiten statt genießen”, innerhalb kürzester Zeit stand alles auf dem Tisch, kaum Pausen zwischen den Gängen, das fühlte sich leider wie eine Massenabfertigung an.

Schöne Hülle, enttäuschender Kern. Für den Preis hätten wir uns mehr Komfort, besseren Service und echten Wohlfühlfaktor erwartet. Leider hat es sich eher nach Geldmacherei als Ga
