Never take a room for 4 people
The room was not so bad, even if a few things were not really perfect (see below). Our main point is that we had booked a family room for 4 people (2 adults/2 kids), and, at our arrival 3 hours or so after booking on Expedia, we had no option but to take two near rooms, supposed to welcome 2 people each. When you travel with adults, this may be a nice solution, but with tired kids? Not so easy. A few more comments about the two rooms: the massage feature of the shower was not working, and when my son tried to use it, the water came out from the (well closed) cabine. A hair was found in the bidet, this is irritating especially when discovered by a woman. A fun point: the small \"do not disturb\" for the room door had a hole that did not match with the size of the (too big) handle! Good point: the coffee was good, and no problem to ask for more during breakfast hours.

Perfect place
We looked for a quiet place between Florence and Pisa, with good access, and a feeling of the countryside. This was the perfect place. Everyone was friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. Unsolicited advice for travel to both cities, tips for parking, getting around, and highlights- it was simply perfect. The owner/ manager was always attentive, and the breakfast was fantastic. We'd love to return!

A lovely hotel, modern and clean - very friendly staff. Our room had a wonderful balcony although a very limited view of the surrounding countryside. Underground car park is a test for your manoeuvring in tight spots! Don't be fooled - it's not in Empoli, so you really need a car.

When we drove up I was a little disappointed with the outside of the hotel but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice with a patio and lovely bathroom. There was a lot of variety for breakfast - just don't expect the normal heavy American breakfast. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. I plan to practice my Italian and come back just as soon as I can. You do need a car or plan to use the public transportation.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July exploring the beautiful Tuscany region. Compare to the bigger cities in the area such as Florence, the hotel rate is much more reasonable. Owner will go a long way to help with their customers, we try to book some tickets by phone but as we do not speak Italian, it was difficult. In the end, the owner kindly called for us.

After the dump we booked in Rome this was a refreshing stay. I would not hesitate to book this hotel. It is run by a nice couple and they go out of their way to make sure that the guest have a good healthy breakfast and a good nights rest. Also we stopped at a little pizza/pasta/bar on the way into town for dinner, it was on the corner in the small downtown area. The food was wonderful and after being ripped off for food in Rome it was nice to have a big special prepared meal for half the price and the bottle of vino was only $3.Fun Stay.

This was a stop-over for us between southern Italy and traveling north. About 30mins outside of Florence out in the country. All you can eat breakfast was nice with warm Italian bakery treats, yogurt, fresh fruit, mixed applesauces, Italian bar (espresso, cappuccino, etc), hot teas with lovely choices of honeys. We'd stay again (and was sorry we didn't in the way back down going home)!

Do yourself a favour and visit this moddest, yet wonderfull family hotel. It is not ferfectly located for Firenze tour but highly recommended if you are on route between Firenze to Lucca or Pisa. It is a family small hotel with all you need. Don't miss the Agritorismo in the neighborhood for very good dinner. They will direct you there.

The staff at this hotel absolutely make it- they are lovely people and they will do anything to help you. A good hotel for exploring Tuscany however a taxi ride is needed to get to any train station. The hotel room was adequate with good air conditioning although there is very limited seating area to sit outside. The hotel appears to be going through some redocration still so may have plans to improve this. Breakfast was nice with gorgeous coffee served!

We were there for a nearby wedding and the hotel provided everything you would want (air conditioned rooms that we're clean and the owners can not do enough for you). There is however nothing to do within walking distance from the hotel apart from a truck stop opposite so do not book if you do not have transport or expect to be entertained nearby.

Great place to use as a base
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights whilst on a driving trip around Tuscany. It was the perfect place to base yourself (if you have a car) to visit Pisa, Florence, Siena & surrounds. The hotel is slightly out of town but still close to the motorway & only a few kilometres to the train station (train easier to visit Florence). The hotel owners (husband & wife team) were very welcoming & the wife speaks perfect English which was great for us. The hotel itself was modern & rooms well appointed with everything you could ever need. Although I do agreed with a previous review, the one negative is the lighting in the rooms is inadequate. We had a back room which was very quiet. The free carpark downstairs is a bonus as is the free internet. The continental breakfast was more than enough to set us up for the day & the owners make great cappuccinos! I would highly this hotel if you are visiting the area. It is good value for money!

Questa era la seconda volta che andavo all’Hotel Empoli la prima volta e stato circa 2 anni fa ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa tutto è stato perfetto. Il Sig. Marco il titolare impeccabile, colazione eccellente, pulizia ottima, nulla da dire insomma. Questo soggiorno invece sono rimasto molto scontento dalla colazione… non c’era molta varietà di brioche c’erano solo cornetti contati e merendine confezionate. Un’altra cosa che veramente non mi è andata giù è stata la misera quantità di latte servita credo dalla moglie del titolare ordinando un latte bianco freddo per me e caldo per mia madre si è presentata con 2 bicchieri mezzi pieni. Una miseria. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia e il resto del personale, tutto è astato impeccabile.

Albergo conosciuto. Adatto a chi si muove in auto. Garage contenuto e nelle vicinanze per mangiare c'è solo un Agriturismo dove si mangia bene ma è molto limitato come scelta. Alla mattina faceva un po' freddino soprattutto per accedere alla sala della colazione. Vantaggio: massima autonomia fuori da controlli, svantaggio: passare per l'esterno se vai a colazione.

Die geografische Lage des Hotel ist sehr gut, da von dort die Städte Florenz, Pisa, Siena und auch einige sehr schöne Ausfligsziele im Hinterland gut zu erreichen sind.
Leider befindet sich das Hotel an einer stark befahrenen Durchgangsstraße, was zu einem erheblichen Lärmbelästigung führt. Das Hotel selbst hat einen erheblichen Renovierungsstau aufzuweisen, so müssten wir in unserem Zimmer erst einmal selbst das Fenster reparieren, damit es einigermaßen geschlossen hat. Bei der Ankunft war das Zimmer nicht sauber, im Bereich des Fensters lag abgeblätterter Putz auf dem Boden, das Bad haben wir dann selbst nochmals gereinigt. Im Außenbereich fallen erhebliche Feuchtigkeitsschäden an der Fassade auf, das Haus bedarf auch hier einer dringenden Grundsanierung.
Das Frühstück bestand überwiegend aus abgepackten, überwiegend süßen Nahrungsmitteln, die einzige frische Ware bestand aus Obst. Insgesamt war das Frühstück eine einzige Enttäuschung, kein Naturjoghurt, die Wurst offensichtlich abgepackte Wäre, keine frische Ware, schade eigentlich, da der Frühstücksraum eine sehr ansprechende Athmospäre hatte.

Albergo tranquillo!
abbiamo usato, assieme a mia moglie, la camera solo la sera per dormire e ci siamo trovati bene. Il parcheggio interno all'albergo è molto scomodo: c'è poco spazio per fare manovra e arrivare giù e non trovare posto è un problema tornare su. Per fortuna che a pochi metri c'è un ampio spazio da utilizzare a parcheggio.

Un petit hôtel sympathique idéalement situé entre Pise et Florence. Le parking est très exigus et nous avons parqué la voiture dans la rue (l'endroit est très tranquille et la rue voisine contient un parking géant totalement gratuit).
