“An unforgettable stay with breathtaking views!”

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Villa Fiorita. The views overlooking the coastline were truly stunning and made every morning feel special. The shuttle service was extremely convenient and made getting to and from town stress-free.

Thank you Giovanni and all the wonderful staff for making our stay so memorable. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations, transportation, and anything we needed throughout our visit.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had an incredible sea view. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was so good that we ended up dining there multiple nights during our stay.

If you are looking for a peaceful place with amazing scenery, friendly staff, and easy access to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, this hotel is a fantastic choice. We would gladly stay again!

This was one of our favorite hotels ever. It’s older but very well maintained and clean. The views are out of this world. The restaurant is very nice for breakfast or dinner. Included breakfast was abundant. Optional dinner was homemade. The staff were amazing. The whole ambiance d of the property is loan from the movie in the 80s. We didn’t mind the shuttle to Sorrento at all and actually enjoyed it. It was quick 15 min ride with beautiful views. Would come back!!!

Before arriving I never fully understood the difference or meaning of balcony vs terrace and or double room. I booked a double, balcony sea view. It was magnificent for the two of us with our own balcony table and chairs. Dreamy view! The room was very clean, water hot, everything worked. I have a bad back, the bed was great. The people at the property were nice and helpful. We had a car. The lot was just far enough where they took you to your car on demand. Breakfast was good enough, but don’t miss having a dinner at the hotel. It’s excellent. I’m a snobby demanding New Yorker type. Villa Fiorita is the best of the 3 Stars.

The view is breathtaking! Lovely accommodations away from the busy town—shuttle bus is a fantastic service. Giovanni is a jewel and oh so accommodating! All staff were lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay again when in Sorrento. Thank you for lasting memories. I miss hearing the donkey already!

The hotel is bright, fresh and clean. The views from all over the property are incredible. The staff was extra accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic. We had several accommodations throughout a 2 week stay in Italy and this was by far our favorite, I hated to leave!

The shuttle was convenient. The views are nice from the pool but we paid to upgrade to a sea view room. You had to go onto the balcony and look over the railing to see the view. Do not take room 1. Guests sitting on the dining balcony can see right into your room.

Hotel Villa Fiorita had the most Beautiful views of Sorrennto!. The Hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. The morning breakfast served such a variety of fresh foods and the dinner menu was Delicious!! If we ever get back to Sorrento Hotel Villa Fiorita is where we will stay!

We booked a gorgeous sea view balcony and had a wonderful trip. The staff were always so nice and friendly. The shuttle bus to town ran about every hour except a lunch break and it was perfect for our family. Breakfast was wonderful with a mixture of hot and cold items like eggs, bacon, fruit, and pastries. We spent one night in the hot tub overlooking Mount Vesuvius. The staff helped us secure an airport transfer and it was worth it. The train to Sorrento gave us quite a few headaches on the trip and I was so glad we had a private transfer to and from the airport. The shuttle into town takes about 15-25 minutes depending on traffic and we pick up a few other hotels along the way. I loved staying on the hillside because it was just so beautiful and different from being in the city. We heard a donkey and roosters outside our room every day too. It just added to the magic!

The staff was amazing and very helpful with planning our excursions (hotel pick-up for excursions was a great surprise). We had a balcony with an amazing view though we didn't spend much time in our room to enjoy it. The hotel is far from the main areas of Sorrento with shopping & dining, but the shuttle bus was very convenient and easy to use. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we're fortunate enough to ever make it back to Sorrento.

If you do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, this is a beautiful retreat up in the hills overlooking Sorrento. A 15 minute complimentary bus takes you to and from the city center. It has a beautiful sundeck with two hot tubs and a small pool. The restaurant prepared the best food of anywhere we ate.

If you like to be away from hustle and bustle of Sorrento, Villa Fiorita is a great option. Beautiful views, great dining and well cared for rooms. Shuttle bus into Sorrento is very handy, just have to time your outings. Be aware that passenger loading is on same side of street as Grand Caesar Augustus. You will see bus drive by but it goes on past you, makes a loop at traffic circle it returns and picks and drops off on Grand Caesar Augustus side of street.

Front desk staff were very rude. We booked a room with a terrace and when we got there they said that we booked the very last room and that there wasn’t a room with a terrace available. They didn’t care, and were very rude and disrespectful. The whole reason we booked here was for the morning view of anmalfi coast.
They also had the hot tub closed the entire time. They said it was because it was windy. The second night there was zero wind, but they still had it closed and said it was because of wind.

Amazing!

We had such an amazing time here for two weeks. The view from our hotel room was incredible. We loved waking up every morning to this view.
Everyone at this hotel was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was a joy to stay here! It is very much a family run business and they were all very helpful. Very clean and great food at breakfast and dinner. It was very difficult for us to leave.
This was a base for us for many trips, including Amalfi, Scala, Ravello, Positano, Capri, Procida and Herculaneum.
Because we were situated so high up on the mountain, it was necessary to take the hotel bus down to the center of town in Sorrento which has so much to offer as well.
The two bus drivers Pasquale and Luca were so friendly and were always on time. Incredible driving as well!! It was a joy to take the bus up and down the mountain. We loved doing this each morning and evening as the views were outstanding.
Highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience!!

We are repeat customers to Villa Fiorita, in Sorrento….we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on this trip to Italy…. we love the magnificent views of this beautiful area from our balcony day and night…the buffet breakfast that is offered is great with lots of choices…it is a family owned hotel and every family member we have come to know has become very special to us….the shuttle bus is great to get you down and back to and from the town center…thank you Giovanni and family!

I could wake up to the view from our hotel room balcony forever. The ideal location and serene setting. The hotel offers convenient free transportation to and from Sorrento. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Giovanni arranged for a wonderful boat tour of the Amalfi Coast that we'll never forget. The hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner and they offer a great breakfast to start the day. I can't wait to return!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The best so fat out of 10 hotels on my trip. Staff created a great atmosphere. Restaurant was excellent. Beautiful view. Not centrally located but has a free shuttle bus. I can’t believe it is listed as 3 only stars.

The hotel is a few minutes away from the center of town which i like, the center is crowded and has lots of traffic. They do provide hourly shuttles to the center of town. The hotel is tastefully decorated and vey clean. They provide a very good breakfast spread. The room has great views of the coast. They do provide parking but not on site, if you need your car you have to let them know in advance which can be a little inconvenient. They do not have a pool which would have been nice, it was very hot. We ate at the restaurant, the food was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely return and recommend it.

Gorgeous views high above Sorrento

Getting up to the hotel was a bit difficult, especially finding the shuttle our first night. We did alot of walking and hunting before we figured out where the shuttle stop was. Then getting our luggage down the long ramp to the hotels entance was tiring. But once there, the view was beautiful overlooking the coast from our large terrace and breakfast was very, very good, in a nice large dining room with glass walls overlooking the bay and Sorrento.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! GORGEOUS VIEW from our balcony! We loved our stay here in Sorrento! Staff is so helpful and accommodating. Room was pretty and so comfortable. The only Con we really had about staying here was how HIGH up the hill it was . . (of course the views were beautiful because of this - can't complain too much) We had to take a tram down and up the hill that sometimes wasn't always so convenient for us/our schedule but it was nice that they provide you with free transportation up and down. It wasn't a deal breaker thought, thats for sure. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you for such a pleasant visit.

Though it's a little outside Sorrento, it's hillside location means the views are superb and there's a regular free bus into town. It's quiet (as long as you don't have noisy room neighbours), the food is great and staff helpful. There's no pool but a couple of hot-tubs to sit in and look over the Bay. Facilities are pretty minimal but then you should be exploring most of the time anyway! Mostly suitable for couples, certainly not a party hotel or for children

Lovely staff but tired hotel

We had some room issues at the start, The simple ones were dealt with swiftly. The more complex ones ( another rooms leaking a/c unit onto our balcony, noisy extractor fan blowing onto balcony) was never dealt with. Apparently we couldn’t be room changed!

Giovanni is the saving grace of the hotel In my opinion. He really cares about his guest and will do what he can to help.

Unfortunately there are just quite a few elements that are in need of an upgrade.

The outside areas where not how the brochure photo looks. And furniture is quite old and worn. The veiw is fantastic although you did feel like the pool in all the photos should be part of this hotel.
Maybe it used to be one hotel and they have split it into two?

The free bus down to town is punctual and the drivers are brilliant.

Breakfast is basic continental, but it is complimentary.

Room sizes and bathrooms are on the small side, if I was a bigger chap maybe getting in and out of the shower would have been difficult.

Something out of the hotels control is the steep hills in the surrounding area, but this in my opinion adds to the romance of sorrento..

Great choice on Amalfi Coast!!

Lovely old villa in Sorrento overlooking the city and the Bay of Naples. Only drawback was distance from town but there was a free shuttle so no need to drive. Excellent onsite restaurant we only ate in once as we were not back in time but highly recommend.

This is the best hotel that you can image. The staff are amazing and the cleanliness of the property astonishing. Very helpful people. When we arrived we by car we didn't know that they had parking which is included. They explained everything that we had questions about. Hotel is located 30 min from Sorrento city but there is a free shuttle bus going every hour from the hotel. The view from the room is amazing. Breakfast is delicious, house wine is the best. We stayed there for 6 nights and enjoyed every second of this hotel and the Sorrento. Highly recommended.

Old, tired hotel with old, tired staff. Cramped room, even more cramped bathroom (I had to turn sideways to get to either the shower or toilet).
Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. No offer to help with my luggage, only a demand that I move my motorcycle because where I had parked was 'reserved for cars'. Not one small smile from any of them in two days.
Restaurant food poor, as was the service. Perhaps they didn’t want to bother with a solo traveller.
Staff sitting around in reception chatting to each other left the impression that they weren’t interested in doing anything else.
WiFi didn’t work at all in my room

Beautiful room with fantastic view of the ocean, free shuttles to and from the center of Sorrento and delicious food in the restaurant (my favorite was the gnocchi). The best thing about the hotel was how friendly and helpful the staff were, giving us transport advice and calling on our behalf to confirm activities. We will always look back on our stay here fondly.

Nice hotel offering excellent value for money

We stayed here for a week just after Easter, on a walking holiday around the Sorrento peninsular and Amalfi coast. We thought the hotel offered excellent value. It's a bit out of the centre up on top of the hill (with lovely views down into the bay) but the hourly free shuttle bus does not make this a problem. The staff were all really helpful and courteous. The buffet breakfast (included) was excellent. We only ate in the hotel restaurant twice in the evenings but again found it to be excellent quality and value at 18 euros for a lovely 3-course set menu and only 9 euros for a nice bottle of wine. May have eaten there more times if we'd tried it earlier! All in all, a great base to explore a beautiful area. Would definitely go back.

Cant go on foot anywhere because of it's location on the hill.
Room was clean enough.

The flat screen tv is a 16 inch pc monitor with poor satellite reception.

Great view away from the bustle of Sorrento

In the hills above Sorrento Hotel Villa Fiorita is a small, quiet family run place with a great view. The shuttle bus makes it very convenient for getting to Sorrento and back. An excellent base for touring the area; Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant but the included breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent value for money.

I loved it even though no elevator

I did not have the ocean view, but you can enjoy it from dinning room or roof top. Clean and nice hotel. Manager and staff were so friendly and nice. They provided private tour with boat to Capri, which was fantastic. Breakfast was perfect for every taste very complete. Dinner is made right after you place the order, it is fresh and tasty. Location is a little far from city center, but it was worthed, because the road was beautiful and enjoyable. The only problem I had was stairs and no elevator.

Comfortable, quiet with excelent restaurant

The hotel offers a fabulous view on the Bay of Naples and has a shuttle to Sorrento's centre. It is a simple but comfortable hotel. We had a disappointement with the air conditioning which did not work in our room, despite 2 complaints to staff. This seamed to be a problem only with our room (#1), as other clients had no problems.
An another disappointment was with bed sheets and towels which had little holes in them (didn't keep us from sleeping!) and with absence of replacement of small soap daily in bathroom.
On the other hand, restaurant was excellent - we ate some of our best meals there.

Room with a view

Excellent choice of hotel, particularly for the views it affords from both bedrooms and dining/bar areas. Rooms were very clean and towels were changed every day. Tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge were an added bonus. All staff were helpful and friendly. Courtesy bus to and from Sorrento Town worked well and clear instructions where to pick the bus up from in Sorrento Town were provided. Thank you to Nico for arranging taxi and advising on ideas for how best to enjoy the sights of Sorrento and surrounding area.

Villa Fiorita is a friendly place to stay. We had dinner the night we arrive, by the way... kind of late for the restaurant, and they manage to prepare an excellent dinner for us. People are very friendly and the service is excellent.

Amazing views!

Just returned from a week at Hotel Villa Fiorita and overall very happy with our stay. We managed to get the last room in the hotel for the dates we wanted and expected just a garden view but as our room was on the end and L shaped we also got a fabulous view across the bay with Vesuvius in the background.

This is a lovely family-run hotel. The room had air con and was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Fridge, TV etc. Bed very comfy. Our son had his own adjoining part of the room with own ensuite and bunk beds. Only downside was no pool but we knew this before we went - they have a few jacuzzis and terrace area but we never got time to try this out. Excellent restaurant and very reasonably priced, also good buffet breakfast. Staff very friendly too.

The shuttle bus starts at 7.45 every morning from hotel to Sorrento and runs on the hour with break in the middle of the day. Unfortunately when we arrived the Curreri bus dropped us at the station around lunchtime so no shuttle bus available. We were quoted 35 Euros for a taxi so decided against this. The hotel though were very good and gave lots of info re buses etc so we got the Sita Sud bus for only 3,90 Euros. Giovanni and Nino were excellent in providing information and responding quickly to emails.

Cannot fault this hotel - for the price a good choice.

Fantastic views and holiday

Just returned from the villa Fiorita and we has a fantastic time. The views are amazing, the rooms comfortable. Sara and Giovanni very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This is a family run hotel. The only downside is that you have to use the free shuttle bus service as it is over a 45 minute walk down to Sorrento and also not having a proper swimming pool. However after talking to Sara and Giovanni this will be rectified next year.

An Italian Oasis

In the hill's over Sorrento amongst the fruit and olive trees, surrounded by the call of sikada's where the air is as full of live and warmth as the locals that breath it. We found an oasis called Hotel Villa Fiorita. From the moment we stepped into the main lobby we were greeted with the instant feeling of being welcomed not into a hotel but into a home. A family run establishment where the attention to detail is evident at every turn, from the beautiful dining room where wonderful dinner meals are made from scratch in the kitchen for a very reasonable price. Breakfast is on the house with the best cappuccino I have ever had. The front deck is more then willing to share their vast knowledge of the region and just how to make the best of it for their guests including an all day free shuttle service to the heart of Sorrento and back again.

The relaxed feeling combined with the beautiful vista's of the city and bay below mixed with exceptional service provided by the entire family from grand mother to grand daughter, we would highly recommend you to experience this for yourself. This beautiful secret away from the chaos of the region's tourist traps were the true experience of Italy awaits.

Nice hotel, staff / owners all very accomodating and friendly, although offered free shuttle bus, for us was a little further out than would have liked. Restricted times for us returning at night from Sorrento, and when out all day found it hard to return to hotel get changed and rerun for evening out, lost too much time by having 2 hours turn around time, so stopped out all day and night.
The hotel itself is ok and great views, would have liked to spend more time at hotel to relax but unfortunately this did not happen due to the distance out.
The hotel however was far cheaper and reasonably priced from staying in the centre of Serrento for the time of year we stayed, so can't have the best of both worlds unless you pay well over the rates to stay more central.

GREAT VIEW !

If you need a place where the view is fantastic, that's the place. Very disappointed about the food though. Thank God for the restaurants around. For literally the same price, you eat gastrononic meals down the hill.

The hotel is just above a great inground pool and sun terrace ... which is not the hotel's. The one the guests get to have is one kiddy pool. But it has 2 hottubs. But considering the price difference for the one with the great pool below, at almost 50% more, I guess it's ok.

Good free shuttle system to get downtown Sorrento and close proximity to Positano on the other coast. Free parking.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They speak English. The rooms are clean and spacious and have a balcony where you can sit at and enjoy the morning sunrise and if you go on the upper deck, you can admire a great sunset on the Mediterranean Sea.

Overall, we loved our experience and would have stayed a few more days but our reservation in Rome made it impossible to change.

Would definitely go back for the view, for the price and for the proximity to all ... but not for the food.

Loved this Villa. The views spectacular and service and restaurant excellent. The food is divine fit fora king. But the pool isn't truly shown. It's the picture of the adjacent Villas pool in their pics, misleading. They have 3 small pools/ jacuzzis on the side and don't show that detail. Also taxi is 40€ from the train but there's a free bus service they don't tell you about until you arrive. It's all good.
Overall excellent but it would be nice if they made agreements to use the other Villas pools vs there small above ground jacuzzis.
Stay here, it's restful, relaxing and solidly nice on a budget.

Perfect stay, amazing hotel. You wont regret it!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first half of our dream vacation in Italy, and I must say please don't hesitate to pick this hotel for your stay. I don't even know where to begin.The view of course is spectacular, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean/comfortable, the a/c works great, the bathroom water pressure is awesome, the hotel restaurant is delicious, the shuttle is punctual, wifi is strong without issues, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. I cant thank them enough for the experience we had while staying there, it truly made our trip memorable. We later stayed at a \"4 star\" hotel in Rome which didn't hold a candle compared to this place. If I HAD to say something negative about this place it would only be the shower size, which was small. Very minor detail in my opinion. I know some reviews read as if the owner themselves wrote them, take my word for it, this place is AWESOME!! A huge thank you once again to this hotel and its staff, bravo!!

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the view and the afternoon manager. He was awesome. The rest of the staff got their customer service training from Lurch off the Adam's Family. The internet didn't work well. I was just told to log off and then log back on. Tried numerous times and finally the afternoon manager got it fixed. Our A/C only worked part of the time. Asked about it several times. Was told to turn it off and let it rest and then turn it back on. Great answer for the heat at the end of July. The breakfast was lacking. The hotel is by nothing else. It is up the mountain which gives the nice view but there is nothing to do. There is a shuttle in to town which was nice. We had a room with a nice patio overlooking the deck and the pool. Problem was...the pool belonged to the hotel next to it so we could not use it. I could have jumped from my patio into it but couldn't swim in it. A lot of the things I could have lived with but the total lack of customer service was the straw that broke the camel's back. When we checked out, the day man shoved the bill across the desk to us. We paid and he said NOTHING. Not have a nice day, did you enjoy your stay, have a safe trip home. Nothing. Sat and watched as we drug three suitcases up the hill to our car service.

Shower is on bathroom floor, water runs all over the bathroom. Staff are stiff,
Breakfast was good, and there's a free shuttle to Sorrento - it takes at least 15 minutes to get there. Not convenient.

Great hotel with a great view

Had a great stay at the hotel. It was a 20 minute drive to get into the main touristy spots in Sorrento (i.e. train station, beaches, ferry port) but this was never an inconvenience as the hotel shuttle bus runs every hour and drops you off within walking distance of all the above. Room was comfy and the air con (free) worked very well. The advantage of the distance from town was you had a cracking view over Sorrento as you were quite high up. The sights you could see out of our bedroom window as well as the sun terrace were amazing, was great for a drink in the evening once you were back at the hotel. Breakfast come with the meal, had an assortment of Italian breakfast items, thick crusty bread with spreaded cheese, mozzarella, ham, yogurts, was a very nice breakfast and different to the full English I was used to!

Overall I'd highly recommend it, especially if you were planning on spending entire days out away from the hotel, the shuttle bus makes things convenient enough and you get a great view that you wouldn't get if you were in a hotel in the middle of town.

Beautiful hotel, really friendly staff and very helpful, lovely views across the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, free shuttle bus to town every hour as your quite high up the mountain, absolutely beautiful place, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast so picturesque can't wait to go back.🙂🙂

what a veiw

Fantastic veiws especially in the evening over the whole Bay of Naples . Restaurant good with similar veiws, romance possible. Tidy and comfortable accomodation but being on a hillside it seems quite small and confining in your room, but the rooftop terrace helps in this regard. Also seems strange to be looking out on a pool that seems to belong to another operation in the same building. Maybe confused with something being lost in translation, but meet a couple from an hotel up the hill who had used the pool. Great shuttle service

Great Views from the Hills overlooking Sorrento

The location and views were fabulous, the Hotel is located abut 15 mins from the centre of Sorrento and you can use either the complimentary shuttle or the local bus which ranges in price from euro 1:30 to 2 depending on the time of day.
We only ate in the restaurant once but the food was good and everything was fresh. The only downside no pool but everything else was very satisfactory.
Would certainly stay again.

What a lovely stay I had there! Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the neighbours lemon trees and could even see a bit of the ocean. My favourite part was the morning breakfast which I ate out on the terrace. What an amazing view! Also all the shuttle drivers were super friendly! I would stay again.

Dont Be Fool. There Is No Pool !

Do not be fooled and go some where else and get your money worth !!! Photos of people (owner's people perhaps) or travellers posted various photos of the neighbouring hotel's amenity which is conjoined with their facility and claim that is their pool. As we arrived thinking that the single pool is hotel Villa Fiorita but it's not. We were humiliated by the staff from the hotel next door Le Terrazle Residence. We confronted the owner and he said an email was issue to me April 20th declaring that they are not equipped with a pool. Of course I did not receive that email nor did I get a correspondent follow up call.
The photo with 2 Jacuzzi and the personal size pool are part of their hotel amenity. My question is why was there not a single photo posted on line? I wonder ?! I would definitely be escalating this issue further with expedia and my credit card company with this shameful and deceitful act of business marketing. I hope my future travel friends will take this matter into consideration and not be fooled like us.

We stayed for five days and truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very nice. Would of loved to of been able to have lunch or dinner up on the roof top terrace. The view from there was incredible.
