My stay was okay, but this hotel is nowhere near a 5-star standard.
While we were upgraded to a bigger room, the hotel has too many issues to justify its rating or pricing. The first thing I noticed was holes in the towels, something you would never expect at a so-called 5-star property.
On the first night, there was brown water, followed by no water at all for about four hours, which is completely unacceptable.
I also had an unpleasant experience with staff attempting to charge me for a broken water bottle in the minibar, which was not caused by me. This felt unprofessional and uncomfortable.
Room service was extremely overpriced, lacked flavor, and was overall tasteless. The food was delivered wrapped in aluminum foil, which is not what you expect from 5-star room service.
The room itself was missing basic amenities no coffee machine, only cheap instant coffee, and the bathroom had no soap or shampoo at all as the dispensers were empty.
Overall, while the stay was manageable, this hotel does not meet 5-star expectations in service, amenities, or attention to detail. Very disappointing for the category it claims to be in.

Crazy awsome pool and sauna area as well as gym. Rooms where very comfy and spacious for the price. Would if liked a steam sauna and the elevators where really small. But still a great hotel. Definitely would stay there next time i go to Dnipro

Surprisingly nice Spa-and sauna complex

Innovative and beautiful Spa-complex with sauna and steam room amenities reflective of 4 countries/regions (Finland, Russia, Slavic region, Japan). Both a fun and educational experience. Hotel Lobby improvements were under construction at the time of visit. The restaurant can benefit from an interior design upgrade to emerge from from its current communist-era look&feel.

The Hotel Spa is one of the best in Ukraine. The Apartment room has 2 levels and provides great space and atmosphere. The gym is enormous and very well equipped. The spa is good and offer great services. One of my favorite parts of the property is the little alleys in the spa. It feels like an treasure hunt, maize, adventure course. So do explore this excellent hotel with great service. This was my 4th stay and my choice accommodation where I go to Dnipro.

Huge spa & gym area, but usually full with non-hotel guests. The hotel has one small restaurant, which is good enough for breakfast, but not okay to spend long evening there. In the spa there`s better restaurant but you have to be in swimming suit to use it. The suite I had was facing the square and from very early morning was very noisy: 1. From the tramway 2. Music from the hotel ( I suppose from the gym on the lower floor ).

The problem I found in the hotel and City is that it's not touristic friendly which means everything is in Ukraine nothing in English. Including the TV.

Good for short staying

The room was cleaned and prepared when I've entered the room. So, I had to wait 30 minutes to have it cleaned. Hence, the hotel offered a plate with oranges and apples as an excuse.
The breakfast was very poor. However, the WiFi worked.

Great hotel. I think this one is the best in Dnepropetrovsk. Rooms are great, staff very helpful
The restaurant has to work on the variety of the menu but the food is OK.

Great location fantastic spa

I have been here many times so it is good to see some positive improvements. Very friendly staff and the combination of Bartolomeo compliments the fascilities wonderfully. Free shuttle to the airport and Bartolomeo.

4/5 - great place to stay but with couple of cons

Stayed for 4 nights in luxury suite with my gf. Let's start from negative.
1) Conditioner was turned off and it was extremely hot the first 2 days. Explanation - it was too cold outside in the beginning of April and some guests asked to turn condi off because it was too cold. It was turned back on eventually but then it became too cold and only on the final night it worked properly so we could sleep comfortably. In luxury suites, bed is located very close to the ceiling so even if you open the window it won't help much because cold air remains on the first floor of the suite.
2) No large trash bin in this huge room. Only one small bin in each of two bathrooms.
3) We turned jacuzzi on and the water was yellow. Eventually, we waited like 10-15 mins and clean water appeared.
4) This one is a big one. No way to take a shower without holding it in your hand. Very uncomfortable. There are so many nice showers in spa area, why they couldn't make it properly in the most expensive room ? I was confused.

Now, the positive.
1) This is the best spa I've ever been. It's located on 3 floors and the number of saunas, all kinds of them, was just amazing. Nice pool. nice warm jacuzzi. Everything works properly, nothing is broken. You can sit down and enjoy some tea with your partner.
2) Bang for a buck. Prices are so low comparing to similar hotels/spa in Western/Central Europe. Both the hotel room and spa itself is a huge value.
3 and 4) Perfect service and delicious food

Nice boutique hotel near Dnipro center

Very good value for money, exceptional food (especially breakfast), nothing comes close here in US in any 4stars hotels, very spacious rooms, Deluxe are two -levels with 1 and 1/2 baths, 2 TVs and do not forget about complementary spa. Overall - very good experience.

Very nice hotel and spa.

The hotel room was very nice, with hard wood flooring, looking to have been recently renovated. Breakfast was very good but is not a buffet style, you are required to prefill an order for each person dining, but this was not a big problem. The only negative, spa is open to the public, and not just hotel guests, so it can be quite busy. You are real close to the city center, walking distance, so do not expect great vistas from the hotel room windows. A number of restaurants are near by if you prefer dining out.

Spa Hotel on a budget

Tsunami is a spa hotel, where spa is much better than hotel. Parking during daytime impossible, rooms spacious, older style, but renovations have begun. I booked a deluxe suite, which advertises as double bed, but us two single beds together, a pet hate of mine. Shower leaked everywhere, which is also annoying.

Kickin' it in Dnipro

This hotel was really lovely. We had a 'cave' room, or one of the big rooms on the top floor. our room was 2 stories. Very clean, very nice. It had an Egyptian theme. Great views of the city. massive windows. Breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was great, so many choices. Checked out the spa, and that also was amazing. Down endless caves and tunnels underground, it was fantastic. Great access to the city. Strongly recommend.

Great hotel, with a catch

Not the first time I have stayed here, nor will be the last. This is a great hotel, many rooms recently renovated, making this a great stay. However, spa is men only on Wednesday, women only on Thursday. So when you book with your wife, expecting to have a nice relaxing day at spa, make sure you remember this ;)
Is a silly rule. Half day single sex maybe, but a whole day is crazy.

They were refreshing the walls while we were there. Only one person at the hotel spoke English well, but with the free WiFi you can use Google Translate. The spa was amazing and free for paying guests. There were a couple of naked guys running around, but family friendly for the most part. The free breakfast was amazing. Much better than anything you would get in the US at a normal hotel. Would like to go back, actually.

Good spa hotel in Dnipro

Tsunami is a well run, well located hotel in Dnipro with spa facilities and fitness centra attached.
We didnt visit the spa this time, but have in the past, its Ukraine style, not luxurious, but adeuqate and again, staff are pleasant and helpful.
Tsunami is a good alternative when in Dnipro

Get rid of the receptionist,

The hotel in general was good, however,.........I have travelled a few times now to former CIS countries and regions and appreciate they have their own idiocincrisies one of which is paying for your room on arrival.
I arrived at the hotel at 7:30 pm and greated by Anna on reception. She has a good understanding of English and requested full payment for the room and breakfast. The following morning during check out, again being processed by Anna, she told me I had not paid for the room and demanded I provide my credit card and pay for the room and breakfast. I produced the copy of my invoice and credit card receipt of the payment from the night before. Anna did not apologise, but did accept that I had paid. She then demended I pay for the second cup of coffee I had with my breakfast, explaining that I had only paid for one cup....

Super spa, 2 star hotel without spa

The hotel is not in family with 4 start hotel. There is not any bar. Just some bottles between the kitchen and a small cold restaurant with a lot of cold draft from the aisle. No bar/lounge environment.

However, the spa area is number 1. Best one I have seen, but that does not make the hotel itself to a 4 star class.
