It's not the best but not the worst if you need somewhere to just stay a few days it was nice it was downtown gatlinburg. There was only 1 front desk person we had to wait about 40 mins at the front desk just to check in it was very hot and humid and when you called the number \"for assistance\" it just calls the front desk phone number so that was pointless. Breakfast was good again was like 1 worker doing everything but she kept up with it.

Great location, could walk to the strip and Anakeesta was right next to the hotel. The front desk lady was really very helpful. The WiFi was weak and intermittent, there was a brief water stoppage but otherwise all good. Breakfast was good.

Pros: Check-in was easy, staff was helpful, walking distance to the places we wanted to go, breakfast was fine, was able to park outside our room, there is a pool and ac worked.

Cons: Requested housekeeping and the room wasn't cleaned. We saw them clean the room next to ours but for some reason we were passed up. Normally that would be fine but no clean towels or soap. The shower curtain didn't keep the water in the shower as we had the use the towels to dry the floor so no one slipped. Our room was run down. Stains on the ceiling, the door was peeling in the bathroom, no hooks or towel bars to hang things up, the beds were hard.

We weren't happy with the condition of the room but we were out the majority of the time and only went to the room to sleep. If you can handle a motel environment, it's a cheap place to stay but if you want a hotel environment stay across the street or two blocks down hill for a little extra.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, with decent pillows, although they were too soft and tended to lose shape. The air conditioning worked adequately.

Breakfast was acceptable, but there were some drawbacks. Milk was only available in a shared gallon container with no individual servings, and only whole milk was offered with no alternatives. The coffee was not hot enough.

Cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing. We found long hair under the bed sheets, and the room overall did not feel properly cleaned. The towels were very rough. The shower gel smelled good but was almost empty, and the body lotion had a very nasty smell like an old expired lotion.

The shower design was also awful, there is no curtain and a lot of water spills onto the floor during showers. Lighting in the room was poor.

There were also several cracks in the ceiling, and the popcorn ceiling was visibly falling off in places, adding to the overall sense that the property is run-down and in need of maintenance.

The first room my son was given was actually occupied. There were suitcases, clothes, shoes, toiletries. The second room we were given was not cleaned, there were footprints on the floor; a broom was outside our room.
Water was dripping from the shower all night. You could also hear the pipes running.
The worst part was the construction going on, and the everyday noise pollution.
Breakfast was ok, but not much variety.

The room I reserved had a loud, squealing toilet upon check in. Maintenance worked on the toilet for 45 minutes while I waited in the lobby. Eventually, I was given another room when maintenence was unable to make the repair. The room I was given was dirty. Dust was all over the floors. Alarm clock was broken. USB charging ports were unpowered and useless. The swimming pool was dirty and unheated. The only bright spot in the stay was the continental breakfast. The breakfast had plentiful options. The food was hot and well prepared.

I first would like to say, reviews before booking the room for the weekend were great. And I normally don't leave reviews, but...Parking is tight and not enough. NO towels in the room, never have I had that happen; had to go back to desk (separate attached building outside) for them after checking in. No hooks or towel bars of any sort in bathroom, so nowhere to put towel after use. Not a working clock and most plugs didn't work for electronics. Not enough lighting in room and small desk lamp was broke. Family member found a dirty cup of spit/chew pouches between the mattress and headboard the next morning. (have pictures) Food stain on one fabric chair, wall paper peeling off back wall, soap and lotion pump bottles were not cleaned or wiped down. Iron but no iron board. Neighboring guests, stated that staff member entered there room unannounced. Besides all that, breakfast was great, had alot to choose from. Good location and walking distance. Staff was great, the ones that understood you, or know english.

Room had not been cleaned. The light fixture was hanging loose from the ceiling, hairtie and toys still on the floor from the previous guests, food still in the refrigerator from the previous guest, and worst part was there was no shower curtain. I’ve been waiting a week for the manager to contact me to try to make this right. Previously, we have stayed here every time we came to Gatlinburg. It’s been the highlight of my son‘s summer. Cannot believe how far downhill it’s gone in less than a year.

It is a little dated but the room was clean. The lock on the door was broken but I travel with an extra lock anyway! Breakfast was good. It is a good place to stay for the money. It is very close to downtown Gatlinburg and you could save a ton of money on parking if you were going downtown.

Rooms are VERY dark. We only had 2 small lights at the beds and one was burned out. Called office about 5 times before they answered. Told her how dark it was in room and she told me to turn on lamp - that we did not have!!! She came to room with a bulb that she could not replace bc she couldn’t get to it. She then left and brought back a lamp. Cleanliness was “ehhh”. I will not ever stay there again!!

The hotel lobby, breakfast area was fairly new looking, lots of seating. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were not bad other than there is no place to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom or anywhere to put your soap or shampoo. The tv was a bit confusing to operate and the guide didn't work. Had to flip through to find the channel. Other than that, would definitely stay again.

We didn’t have the breakfast, the room was dirty. The staff was very unfriendly and antisocial, especially at the front desk. The fire extinguishers are not up to code. The cases around them are broke and there’s wasps nest in them. The elevator has no permit or anything from the city where the fire department and it needs to be updated and worked on. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Sooo, for the price…we were satisfied. Here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly!!
THE GOOD
PERFECT, safe location. Super easy to walk the Gatlinburg strip and just far enough away from all the noise. Breakfast was a bit of a mad house but very tasty. Eggs, sausage (I didn’t care for), waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk coffee, tea, juices. Lobby was spacious and clean. Front desk open 24/7
Our room 1098, was extremely spacious and had a jacuzzi in the living room that worked. Shower had great pressure. No bed bugs. The king bed was very comfortable!
THE BAD
The shower curtain was way too short (both ways). The floors were DIRTY. Like a dirty mop had been rolled across the floor’s. I got Clorox clean up and and scrubbed the bathroom floor and the piece of floor between the bed and the bathroom. The nasty, dark areas never came clean but at least I felt better. You have to request for maid service on a daily basis or you won’t get it. We asked all 3 days and only got 1.

THE UGLY
Where the tub met the wall was dark and awful looking. The shower curtain was way too short. A line of rust was noticed under the faucet. The tub faucet dripped non stop. Where the shower head comes out of the wall is a hole. No cover present. The bathroom door looked like it had been propped on its side and had water damage at some point. It was scratched up-stained and was dirt like where you’d pull the door to shut it. I also cleaned that inside and out-didn’t do much good.

First room was dirty and had a used rag and used bars of soap in the tub along with hair and crumbs on and around the bed, and unit smelled of urine. The second room ( which we took because we were tired after driving 8 and a half hours) had no soap, conditioner, or body gel, and very little shampoo. Asked the front desk for some, she said that house keeping would be up the next morning to refill the containers.... That never happened..... Drywall mud covering a water damaged wall (seemed to be covering mold or mildew) water damaged ceiling tiles, warped ceiling tiles which opened up to the open area between floors, crumbs around the bed, door chain broken off and missing, water leaking outside the door from above unit. And the pool was green and full of algae. Room 129 was the second room can't remember the number of the first room

The room was filthy! Hair all in the floor. Mold growing on most surfaces. Couldn’t even see out the window and the smell was damp and horrible. The breaker box was only covered with a piece of vinyl flooring stapled to the wall with breakers exposed. When we went to the front desk immediately after checking in we were told we would be given a full refund. Now they won’t answer any calls from myself or Expedia. We have tried numerous times and I am far beyond dissatisfied!

The pool was in poor condition to the point that I reached out to the front desk 3 times to get an answer why the water was cloudy and if it was safe to use, never got an answer, the common areas had cigarettes butts for days that never got cleaned, we stayed 4 days but the dirty areas remained the same, my final complaint is that the bathroom door could not be closed, this unreported and nothing was done. One positive thing is, the location of the place is convenient to get to many attractions since it is located walking distance to most attraction in the heart of Gatlinburg.

Our stay at Clarion Pointe was a disappointment. Check in was smooth and fairly quick. When we walked into our room at 4 pm, the room was warm. We turned the air down and left for the afternoon. Come back at 9 pm, not much cooler. Turned it down a few more degrees and come back at 11pm. At this point it’s cooler outside than in our room. Call the front desk to notify them and see if there’s anything they could do to help. We were told our unit was blowing cold air, our room wasn’t cool because we had the door open. This wasn’t true, we opened our door so our kids were cool enough to sleep. We asked if they had a fan, no such luck. We were told all rooms were booked so moving rooms wasn’t an option either. He came back 30 minutes later( we kept the door AND bathroom door shut) to say it’s actually not cool in here. We’re(hotel staff) are checking another room to see if that unit is okay and if so you can move to it. When I got my child up that had fallen asleep at this point, I realized there was no flat sheet on the bed she was laying in. There was infant stains on the mattress cover. Electrical outlet by bed also didn’t work. The room we moved to was much cooler and DID have sheets on the bed. The location is ideal, outdoor pool was fine, but next time our group will stay elsewhere. Our ballteam stayed at this location because it was close to RockyTop Sports but next time we will all stay elsewhere.

We came to stay here for one night and I almost left immediately after check in. The room was horrible. There was no dresser or counter, literally just a bed a table and a fridge with a microwave sitting on top. The bathroom was in horrible condition. The shower was filthy, the toilet paper looked like it had been peed on, there was no shower curtain, no soaps, nothing. It was terrible. I will NEVER stay here again. Ever.

Location: Excellent, but that's about it.
I stayed at this hotel for four days with my family, and while the location was excellent—everything in town was within walking distance from the hotel—the rest of the experience was awful.

Cleanliness: Terrible. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, there were used bar soaps, hair everywhere, and the towels were old and stained.

Security: Extremely poor. Due to an error or oversight, I accidentally opened another guest's room with my key card. The person inside woke up scared because the door key cards seem almost generic.

Staffing and service: Minimal. At night, there was only one employee for the entire hotel. I had to personally go find him because the phones in the rooms weren’t even connected to the wall, which was absurd. I had to go down to the front desk myself to get fresh towels and basic cleaning supplies like soap. On top of that, the lock on my room door either wouldn’t lock or wouldn’t open because the batteries were dead, and I had to track down the same employee to address this as well.

Positives: The only saving grace was the location and the kindness of the ladies in the breakfast area in the mornings.

Overall: Beyond the location and the friendly breakfast staff, this hotel is terrible. I would not recommend it.

Good if you just need a place to sleep.

The room was spacious, but had a musty smell to it. I had to buy Febreze to get rid of the smell. The toilet moved when you sat on it and the bathroom floor hadn't been mopped. Housekeeping is only available upon request. There was a closet to hang clothes, but not a dresser. The continental breakfast was the usual fare. It was within walking distance to the attractions, so that was nice.

No bath. No where to Hang things in the bathroom. Towel bar fell off. Hair on the bathroom floor, not ours. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom

The staff is wonderful but the hotel in general is horrible. At check in they put us in a room that smelled of mold, impossible to stay in. We asked to change and the guy at the reception promptly moved us to another room, it didn't have a strong smell but the cleanliness was lacking. Dusty baseboards, dirty grout like mold, poor lighting, dirty doors, walls with holes, in short, I don't recommend it.
