It was very nice and very wonderful experience. Only thing is wish they would have better breakfast but other then that we had an amazing enjoyable time there. Definitely recommend visiting. Especially if you’re going to holiday world. Very close to the park and just very nice atmosphere.

Stayed the weekend for a softball tournament. Price was good, staff was great, bed was comfortable, tv worked great. Only thing was when I first arrived three police officers showed up and went to hotel side. There is a restaurant attached which seemed busy. There were constant people outside the rooms walking around. One of my bath towels was dirty, and my comforter had two big holes in it.

The bathroom lights in my room were all sensor based, not a physical switch. Throughout the night, several times, the bright lights (one above toilet next to shower and one above sink) would randomly turn on. Since most hotel rooms are small, the light would wake me up every time something set it off. My only remedy was to shut the bathroom door. In a mostly dark room, even with the door shut, light from under the door would still shine through. Hopefully they can figure out a better solution.

We were told that the room would be safe and clean. When we arrived we found a tick on our bed. When we asked for a refund we were told that would come through Expedia. When we contacted Expedia we were told a refund would have to be initiated through the motel. The property was rundown. It was one of the worst hotels I had experienced in my fifty years of professional travel. The room was neither safe not clean. I would have expected better from Expedia.

We booked a two rooms. Both had a serious fly problem we had 3 to 4 flies in my room and around two flies in the other room. I had to buy fly swatters. Plus the pool was nasty . Dead bugs everywhere it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months

Honestly want to give a higher rating because the staff was great, the restaurant was great and it had the amenities of a pool, hot tub and splash pad which is why we stayed here. But I just can't! I don't understand why places don't use chlorine in their pools! There were so many bugs in it! Don't be fooled by anyone's pictures because you can't tell in photos. It really was gross. And the hot tub had cigarette butts all over the ground around it.. in a non smoking area. Definitely will not stay here again, but my kids did have fun.

The place needs a lot of repair. Dim lights in the room. Bathroom Fan sounded like a tractor and a sick tractor at that. I was worried that the peopl up stairs would complain. Another lady when I reported this was report that their door didn't lock on the inside and they had to put a chair against it to feel secure. Overall the place is not kept up. Oh and when we got there the room they sent us to was a mess and not ready. Then it took them a while to get us a room. Just a bad overall experience. Never stay there again.

Ended up getting a room that had not been painted in years. So many issues not just with an older building but dirtiness that could be controlled. Blinds were falling apart. Carpet bad condition. Mold in ice bucket. Rust/ chipped tub. Marks on walls. Got sheets that were melted in some parts. Ended up switching rooms. Had a non-refundable room or I would have found a different hotel. New room was better than original but had issues. Manager never addressed our issues with the first room. Overall would not recommend this hotel and shocked it has a 7+ rating. Bad reviews are probably being watered down from internal submissions.

The motel has been remolded. It is older, however the beds are new and comfortable. Had two large pillows on each bed. It has very hot water;.watch your children. Shower was very good. New towels and plenty of them. Breakfast is OK. Maybe a little pricey?

Hotel is older but pretty well maintained. Pool needed cleaning, hot tub wasn’t hot and our full length mirror in our room had many gross lipgloss kiss marks all over it that were not cleaned by the cleaning crew. Left feeling pretty icky after cleaning them off but the rest of the room and bathroom appeared to be clean.

This hotel is nine miles off the highway, but it was worth the detour! Safe, quiet, large clean well-appointed room. Most of all I enjoyed and appreciated the staff at the hotel and at the excellent family-run Mexican restaurant on site. They treated me like family, and I thank them all for a memorable stay.

Got there they had no power. Couldnt stay because i have a son who is medically dependent on power. Was told not hotel problem , city problem. No refund, you can call city police? Like what? they stole money and refuse to give back. Hotel.com and they are not refunding me , its ridiculous. This was not a me issue. We could not stay with no power! And who would pay that much to stay in the dark anyways? Im fighting this. Contacted better bussiness and will take to court if need be.

The outside of the building was overall very well kept and the landscaping was pretty. The pool was well lit at night as well as clean. The restaurant was wonderful. However, the room was an entirely different story. I wrote down a few notes and planned to give it to the receptionist while checking out. I didn't because he looked as if he would just throw it in the trash.
Notices: There was something really nasty like chewed gum squished in the main door stopper. The sink counter in the room was in need of lifting and setting. Some of the towels were dirty and one of the washcloths had several holes. The bathroom was very dirty. There were hairs in the tub as well as dirt on the bottom of the tub. The toilet paper holder was in need of repair as well as the faucet for the tub. There were some dirty spots on the ceiling as well as on the walls. The drawer to the nightstand could not be opened easily.
I will say that the pillows were fantastic!

We only stayed one night between days at Holiday World. It was a decent price with a fairly short drive! We intended on using the hot tub, then the pool and then drying all the wet clothing for the next day. Hot tub was great, but the pool quickly filled up so even though we got in we didn’t enjoyed it as much. The only real issue we had was when we went to dry our clothes, we spent an hour in the laundry room but the clothes were still wet. The breakfast was good, pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage and more. Check in was wonderful! Lady working the front desk was super sweet and welcoming. She even called our room to let us know it may take a minute for the hot water to reach our facuets due to the end of the building our room was on. Restaurant located on site. Food smelled delicious. Cozy bed. Everything was clean and fresh, unlike mentioned in some reviews. Would definitely stay again!

While this is a very old hotel, they have done a very good job of upgrading it as is possible without total renovation. I have stayed here many times when home visiting family and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The Mexican restaurant on-site is also very good. If you're expecting 5-star, Marriott quality, stay somewhere else. But if you just want a clean, comfortable space at a VERY affordable price, I'd highly recommend.

DO NOT BOOK the facility is not in good shape at all. We stayed 2 nights 2 rooms 7/16-7/17 so we checked this person was awesome. So we go to room dont look it over much just had long day Holiday World. So next day notice the ceiling in sink area was all stained the latch lock was missing. The tub would barely drain. Complained to front desk lady with long gray hair response was \"uhh uhh ok\". So we go to holiday world the next day we get back about 7 eat. Thinking we could then enjoy pool but a bunch kids many unsupervised. They were very unruly diving off the edge of pool head first. They kept bumping splashing my wife with their dangerous behavior. So i went to front desk because when i tried to call is when i realized the phone was broken. When i say broken the phone when picked up whole phone it sounded like a pinball machine inside like the insides were all busted. So i went to desk complained about it and the unruly unsupervised kids whick rules state much have adult supervision and no diving. The front desk lady said same thing \"uhh uhh uhh Ok\" So after all this we go to my moms room WHO is on fixed income. We were watching tv a roach started running around microwave. Didnt both saying anything to the front desk \"uhh uhh lady. So were checking out next day anyways. So my mom went to breakfast came back and a roach was in the bed. When checking out she told different front desk lady they said they would be back in touch later today and of course nothing. I have pictures

In the morning on Saturday at 730 am they decided to start doing work on the roof above us. They started using the drill and hammers this prevented us from sleeping. Also upon checking in the receptionist had snot hanging and dripping from her nose. We brought the construction issue to the front desk.

It was clean, beds were comfy, pool and hot tub were clean. Kid got stung by a wasp, but not quality inns fault. Other than that it was a nice stay. The mexican restaurant connected to the lobby was top notch, honestly some of the best mexican food i've ever had. Had the fajitas texanas, chicken, steak, shrimp and was amazing. So much that i ate leftovers for 2 nights. While the hotel was nice and staff was friendly, that food was so convenient and so good. Hats off to those people. I definitely recommend restaurant and hotel, in that order.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! We stayed there for a softball tournament and it was great! Breakfast was basic continental breakfast nothing special but it did the job! The pool was nice and clean and the hot tub was nice, not as hot as I expected but it felt good and my kiddos loved the splash pad!! We will definitely stay again!!!
