Really expensive hotel in a lovely area but the rooms were dreadful. One had a boiler in ut which made it so hot you couldnt breathe. The other was freezing cold with a old thin blanket and one sheet. Advertised breakfast but didnt exist. The picture on the site suggests a breakfast room it doesnt exist. We booked the family room as it was supposed to be two interconnecting rooms. It wasnt there was a unlockable bifold door to the outside corridor for two rooms next to each other. This meant my husband and i each had to sleep in a room with one of pur children each to ensure it was safe. Rooms were tiny, tvs didnt work. Truly the worst hotel ive stayed in. Shower room so small you coukd barely turn around to shower and my knees touched the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet. Avoid avoid avoid. 2 nights cost £1300 for this shambles.

This hotel had the three C's, comfortable clean and convenient. The staff were great. The only thing I thought could improve their service was there was no milk for the coffee in the morning in the room and the usb adaptor would only work if the light was on in the bathroom. And did not work at all in the main room. But overall a very nice experience.

This was a very enjoyable stay as this hotel is walking distance to main attractions such as Eiffel Tower. Our only surprise was that the rooms and bathrooms were much smaller than as advertised in photos. It felt crowded for 2 people, but if you’re looking to just come and sleep after all day sightseeing, it is very convenient price wise, and distance wise. We were pleased with the staff and manager who are very friendly and accommodating. And a plus is that they have universal outlets in case you forgot to bring an adapter.

This was a great location for my family of four (two adults and two teens) to stay. We were given 2 rooms on the top floor which were connecting. This was great as we had two bathrooms. It is close to the Eiffel Tower but a little distant from other Paris attractions. There is a metro station close by and an RER line by the river(which was closed for repair). We often ate breakfast at one of the local boulangeries and dinner at nearby restaurants. Our favorites were La Fontaine de Mars and Les Bistrot des Fables. The desk staff were always helpful with our needs. And the rooms were clean but cramped. If you are planning on being out touring most of your time the room size is manageable. Also the had AC which was nice in the August heat.

Great Staff, New Owners Doing Great Work

At first we were not pleased with the state of our room, however when it was mentioned to the front desk they did switch/upgrade us to something that was acceptable, and the next day we saw work being done to improve the room we had originally booked. Sounds like the hotel is recently under new ownership and being actively improved as such. Great location near the Eiffel Tower, friendly and accommodating staff, good relative pricing, and I expect the hotel itself will continue to be upgraded, would stay again should we revisit Paris.
The staff was also helpful in finding us transportation to the airport when our original plans did not work out, and were happy to help whenever we had requests or questions.

We stayed at hotel de la tour for two nights with our three little kids. We got two rooms on the top floor with a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower, which was a nice surprise.
Rooms were small as expected but very cozy and clean! We were there during the most warmest days recorded for France and the A/C worked perfectly. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and courteous.
Hotel surrounding is calm yet just walking distance to many bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Eiffel Tower was about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We had the perfect Paris experience and will stay at the same place if we come back!

The hotel was nice and easy to get around the area of the Eiffel Tower. The A/C in our home wasn’t working property and dripped all night. We were lucky however for nice weather and having the window open was fine. Room was cleaned daily, sheets and fresh towels also replaced. Location is great for walking to the Eiffel Tower or grabbing a taxi, ride share or public transport. The big red bus tour also passes through this area.

Unfortunately, the room we got had mold in the shower. When we advise the front desk, they tried to tell us that they would clean it. We said it was not a matter of cleaning it, mold needs to be be removed and it would take more than that. They switched us to another room, where the AC was dripping water.

We got cold since they leave the window open after cleaning and we got back late so the room was super cold and gave my husband issues when asked to him an extra blanket and then up the heat. If you are looking for an affordable, charming, walkable place to stay in Paris this is a great option. We are a family of 3 so I decided to book two rooms, keep in mind the rooms are small but very clean. The service they provided was excellent.
The Tour Effiel was 2 blocks away, there was restaurants, vins, supermarkets, pharmacies just steps away. My family and I enjoyed are stay. I definitely recommend this hotel! Merci !

Uncomfortable Room and Misleading Photos

I booked a stay at Hôtel de la Tour Eiffel but left on the first night due to an issue with the room temperature. The AC wasn’t working because the hotel uses a system where only heating works in winter, and with winter almost over, the room was too hot to sleep in. The front desk suggested opening the windows, but that wasn’t an option due to the street noise outside. As a result, we couldn’t sleep and decided to leave.

I contacted Hotels.com to report the issue, but the hotel refused to refund, claiming the booking was non-refundable. This wasn’t a problem on my end, as the hotel advertises AC, but it wasn’t available until summer, and this was not disclosed on their website. The hotel’s website also does not mention the heating system or the potential issues with room temperature during transitional seasons.

Furthermore, the rooms were much more deteriorated than in the pictures on their website. The bathroom was incredibly small, and the photos provided create false expectations, showing angles that make the rooms look larger than they are. Some photos even show the exterior of the hotel in two different colors, which adds to the confusion.

Given these issues, I strongly advise against staying here. The lack of transparency and the uncomfortable room conditions made this a highly disappointing experience. I left after the first night, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They demand to leave the key before leaving the hotel, noticed they went thru our stuff (wife’s underwear)

Not only that but their doors aren’t to proto call because I got stuck in their restroom , the lock wouldn’t open it took nearly 1 hr to break myself out nearly gasping for air.

I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE LOOK ELSE WHERE .
I was not the only one with these issues, they have other reviews saying similar.
Unfortunately we booked thru Expedia and which I didn’t see there reviews.

After calling them out on why wife’s underwear was moved this guy in the video that’s the manager/owner pretends to be an employee and all he said was it is mandatory to go thru the room to “clean” when we clearly asked for our privacy.

We stayed here for only one night, we had to stay in Paris overnight and this was a last minute booking (we did it from the airport). I am familiar with other hotels in the area.
Hotel is a bit rundown. The family suite is big however not recommended for families with young children as the rooms are separated, it’s a unique setup. This is more ideal for a group of adults. Few amenities ( none really, other than soap and towels) in the room and hotel.
The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Many restaurants in the area.
The price we paid for a hotel in the area was decent. If you get a good rate, this hotel
Is ideal for those on a tight budget but still want to be close to main attractions.

Sadly this wasn’t great. The room couldn’t fit both me and my suitcase at the same time! Upon entering, I was hit with the smell of mold. The bedding was stained, the bathroom was covered in hair (of all types), the shower backed up and overflowed (front desk says “it’s ok, not your fault”. You think? The walls were dirty. Power plugs in the bathroom were over the 6’ mark, and the bathroom door was some DIY disaster. The location is great, and was very walkable to all the “must see” destinations. Staff was friendly even if the guy who checked me in didn’t know how to turn off the lights in my room (the switches didn’t work). Has the potential to be great, just needs to be cleaner.

This is a very convenient hotel for visiting the Eiffel Tower. It is also about 10-15 minutes walk from the Metro. I had a nice, quiet ground floor room. The one major issue was that the receptionist didn't speak any English and my French is limited. Every other hotel I've stayed in in Paris, even budget hotels such as this have a receptionist who speaks even low level English. The bed was nice and comfy though.

Cons: There is a sign in room claiming electrical outlets are universal and compatible with USA connection. Yes you can connect but it will burnout your electronics. My clothe steamer and blow dryer were burned and completely stopped working. When I would charge my iPhone I would have to keep an eye on it since it made my phone extremely hot! Over all hotel is old and run down. I’ve stayed in old hotels in Italy before but they are well kept up and smell good. This one not so much. “Housekeeping” would go in everyday and moved my things around which I didn’t like,and there wasn’t a sign available to put in door to keep housekeeping away from my room. Staff was average not super friendly.

Avoid this place. Room was smaller than our walk-in closet at home. One has to sit on bed for other to walk around. Pictures of quaint garden were clearly not taken there. No amenities in the room. One glass in bathroom. Asked at desk about coffee and told to go down the street to cafe. Because we had our own tea we had to ask for a tea kettle, no mugs but handed another glass. We were told putting boiling water in a glass wouldn’t be a problem.

Very very bad room first night water leaking from air conditioner I get filmed from leak and show film to reception and report leaking water to my room when I came back to my room afternoon for pick up my room key they said we fix the leak second night leak water from same place and a filmed game and showed reception. At night 3 Paris was raining and was coold. I did spoke with Reception and I told him my room is cold. Please turn on the heater last night. I couldn’t sleep because it was really cold. My room. I wake up early to go to airport. I returned reception and I said my heater doesn’t work the person on the air or heater for you another persan sad we turn off because leaking . I have a plan when I return to United States. I want to call my credit card company and refund this money. (I have both film in my phon)
