The rooms are incredibly antiquated and not very comfortable. The floors need to be replaced. The decades old carpet is nasty and could use an LVT Upgrade. Nothing expensive, but it would add a lot to the decor and the cleanliness.

The noise in this place was ungodly. Not so much from the traffic on the road, but the other guests made it miserable.

The room was either way too cold or way too warm, the air conditioning system is way out of date.

The room was clean, however, we had to summon the front desk clerk to program the remote for our TV. It would not function to turn on or navigate the menu.

This is actually a GOOD review, given the price point.
Staff was excellent and friendly.
PROS: had iron, fridge, hair dryer, microwave and coffee maker!
CONS: Trash outside was overflowing.
NEUTRAL: It is an older property, and thus shows some wear and tear.
CONCLUSION: Well, I stayed there once, and came back a second time, so that is a good sign. For a cheap, quiet, one-night stay, it is a bargain!

Price was very low so not much complaint but: The entrance door had a 1/4 inch gap under it, leaking air and who knows what could come in. The room and shower were poorly lit. A great place to get some sleep and shower but don't expect it to be perfect. Shower was hot, towels good and bed clean and sundries provided like shampoo , soap and even coffee.

The stay at Road way inn was rather great as far as Clean, nice and neat. This place has it going on! Staying here was like a flash back to the 80's only well preserved and kept was my seller on leaving a comment on this place. They have done well with keeping this place up and nice with everything still giving me the feeling as if I was at home and not away or in some cheap drug place but the opposite. If your looking for something cheap and affordable but don't want the cheap stay with local drug investment loud disturbances then this is the quite place your looking for. So come join the throw back into the 1986 and see what I mean and maybe you will enjoy your stay and see exactly what I mean and trying to say. thanks Road way inn

It was a cheap motel so i didn’t expect much more, but the peeling wallpaper and scuffed everything and a door that’s locks seemed like a good push would open…. The whole room felt dirty, even if it wasn’t and then when i ask for a first floor room i’m given the only one that you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to. There was clearly very few guests but i was put in a room on the side of the building where i had to listen to semi trucks pulling in and backing up and pumping their breaks all night. It was a pretty miserable night. But the staff was nice.

This was more secluded as there were no restaurants at this exit but the room was very clean and inexpensive. There was no road noise or bright lights through the windows even though it was just off the exit from I75. Restaurants were just 1 exit up and easy to get to.

It's like staying in a third world prison! No-go!

DO NOT STAY HERE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Bugs on the counter! The room STANK! Linens were old and gross. Floor boards were so warped you stub your toes! And they charge crazy pet fees and watch you like a hawk on the camera system to make sure you have as many as you say you do! Prison lights and cameras outside everywhere, too bright even with curtains drawn. Lobby smelled disgusting too! Absolute worst hotel stay we ever had and were only there 6 hours to crash and take a shower. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Save your sanity and find a better place up the road and pay a little more. This place is like being in a third world country with big brother watching your every move!!! I wouldn't be surprised if there was cameras in the rooms too!! Keep away from this place!!

There were two of us staying for 4 Nights,, the sink was dirty with hair, the two outlets that did work were barely functional. We had one roll of toilet paper so had to Walk to the office in the freezing cold to request more and more pillows bc there were only two. The Card KEY didn't work when I had hot to go food in my hand trying to get into the room so instead I had to walk back to the office for the fourth time as an inconvenience. The first night we were there, I had to again walk to the office in the freezing cold to request more batteries for the remote control for the TV because it didn't work. When I checked out, there was nobody in the office and I had questions to ask. Everything in the room is
outdated, dirty, or doesn't work. The front desk lady was very kind. After all of the inconveniences and disappointments, I would only stay here again if they gave me two complementary nights to make up for the first stay. Now I know to pay a little extra simply for convenience and cleanliness at hotels/motels. The location was great though because it was the only Hotel on the exit in the interstate is 30 seconds away and one exit away from Dalton

I have to say that this hotel was actually quit decent. I'm usually very picky and was worried that it would be loud, unsafe, and disgusting, but it was not. The rooms didn't have a horrible odor, and were very quiet besides when a family got in late and was unloading.

The surroundings could use some work, and updates could be made in the rooms (like showers and office). They also don't do breakfast and the parking is a little crammed.

We weren't in our room but to sleep so this was OK.

Overall, I was happy with the stay and it didn't cost an arm and leg!

Not worth the “discounted” $70 + $20 in taxes/fees

The advertisement pictures did not represent the property and condition of this hotel/room. The entrance driveway was obscure and there was not a designated turn lane. The lobby was pitiful/closed off, so no refreshments, breakfast or snacks were offered. The door to the room was old with chipped paint. As I walked in the door the “fresh linen”smell was overwhelming, the small recliner had soiled arms and the bed cover had stains. The tile grout in the bathroom looked very dirty and the shower curtain was too long, so that it folded down onto the bottom of the tub. I could here the neighboring guest talk, cough and television on as if they were behind a thin door. The comfort of the bed was the only consolation.

This was a solo trip to be at a convention first thing Saturday morning so I didn't need anything fancy. Rate was good, so I decided to give it a shot. It was a typical motel with outdoor entrances, nothing special. The interior of the room was clean, with a table in the corner with two chairs and a 32\" (estimated) TV. The outlets were behind the bed, so I had to charge my phone at the sink. Bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. My only surprise was that the bathroom door had numerous scratches where paint was missing. Didn't deter from my stay but maintenance could be better.

If you're looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head, I'd recommend this.

The room was just what we needed for that night and the bed was comfortable. It was really quiet outside the room. Would definitely book a room at this location again.

This hotel was not at all as advertised. I should’ve known to leave when the lobby was locked and you had to use a window to check in. They had what looked like a health inspection report next to the window with a score of 99. When I was checking out I realized it wasn’t even filled out someone just wrote in the score but nothing else was filled out. The room was falling apart. My wife used her own blow dryer because the one in the room was disgusting. When she was done the prongs on her cord were super hot. So something was up with the wiring. Needless to say we didn’t plug our phones in. The shower sprayed water everywhere and there was obvious water damage. We slept with the lights on because we were nervous about what may crawl out in the dark. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

This place was all that at a great price. The room is dated, however, is in great shape. It smelled clean and there were no functional issue within the room. Check out was quick and easy. Just off the I75 exit so easy on/off. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

This was certainly nicer on the inside than it was on the outside. The pictures posted painted a much nicer motel than it actually is. It was pricey compared to other national brand motels with the same amenities. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Traveling home on Easter weekend, we found it hard to find a place to stop for the night. We were able to find a place to stay here & thankful we had a place to rest. The night staff was super friendly, switched our rooms to the lower level to make it easier to get the kids in since it was so late. The room was clean & tidy.

The hotel is a older property with exterior doors to enter the rooms, which belies the nightly rate so I didn’t expect a 4 star experience. Initially found the room musty smelling but turned on ac and the odor dissipated quickly. The Front window curtain doesn’t quite cover the entire window. I found the bed to be very comfortable and the best part of the visit. A coffee maker is in the room. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure. In the lobby a Small breakfast area is located with a waffle maker, some packaged danish, oj, cereals. One important point -The hotel is located within 500 feet of interstate 75 so if your gps takes you much farther down the road you have gone too far. My gps took me on a whirlwind 10 mile travel down dark winding roads before bringing me back to the hotel. Front desk clerk told me that situation happens often. As to security they have a camera system that covers the entire property And is visible by the front desk clerk.

When I was getting close to the area I was skeptical BUT this property had over a 3 rating and I was driving for 12 hours after being on a two week road trip so I took a chance. I looked at the photos and they seemed decent. It said full breakfast and pets ok. It was also a property you paid for right then and no cancellation. When I got there it looked awful on the outside and when I pulled up to check in the lights were dim and it had a little window for check in. I did notice a lady inside so I opened the door. Immediately I was hit with an awful smell and questioned about my dog. Then I asked about breakfast and was told there is a waffle maker, muffins and coffee and that the orange juice machine was broken. Once going to my room when opening the door it was so hot that the heat along with the stuffy smell was enough to knock you out. Some of the lights didn't work and when I finally got one to work I was horrified. I have been in some seedy places in my younger days but never anything like this. I was scared to even get on the bed and started inspecting for bed bugs. There were barely any plug ins and there were iron burns all over the carpet. It had an old rusty chain lock on the door and wallpaper part on and part off. I went to sit in the chair and it was falling apart. At this point if it wasn't for my dog I would've left and went across the street to the Pilot and slept in my car. I decided to take my dog out and noticed the place looked deserted. Horrible experie

Parking was very tight for a pickup truck. I would not count this as breakfast included. The lamp was broken, the sheets were dirty. We stayed here as a halfway point stop driving to FL from OH, it was a bed to sleep in but nothing more!

Deceiving, not nice at all. The front desk clerk was not very inviting. When got to the room it smelled musty. The pictures on this website ARE NOT AT ALL WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE IN REAL TIME!!! OUTDATED!!! The key card doors did not work 3 differnet card 3 times for us plus thier from the 90's. The 2 good things the air conditioner worked great and the mini fridge worked great. The bathroom was ok but paint chipping from the ceiling. The towels were very hard scratchy and not enough in the room. Location was ok. The hotel itself is oddly shaped and parking is a pain in the neck.
