The hotel is in a busy area of the city and near a metro station which is good if you will be using the metro to get around.
The food options around the hotel were alright.
It is near all the attractions in the city.
One thing that I didn’t love were the rooms. I am used to bigger and more modern rooms.
Also, I love cleanliness and the rooms there were not to my standards
Otherwise it was a pleasant stay and the staff made up for the missing pieces.

Hotel Barocco is a quaint boutique hotel with Italian flair and located in the center of everything we all want to experience while in Rome. Fabio is fabulous, as is the entire staff. Its a quaint boutique hotel with Italian flair and felt like a home away from home staying there. The location was perfect too. An incredible stay at Barroco Hotel in Rome! The service was exceptional — every staff member was courteous, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. Our room was incredibly clean, spacious, and had an excellent view of the fountain. The hotel is perfectly located in a very central area, making it easy to explore all of Rome. Truly an amazing experience and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

Don’t even know where to begin. This place was a dream! The room was beautiful and clean. The view (sea view) was perfect. The staff was the highlight from David and Lucia at the pool bar where service was so attentive yet not overbearing. To the staff at Franchino restaurant that walked us through the menu and we let them surprise us with most of our meals which did not disappoint. Overall incredible stay and will be recommending this hotel to anyone interested in the Amalfi coast. Being out of the chaos of Positano tucked away in the most perfect spot, But easy access by water taxi. We will be back that is for sure.

The staff was amazing, the breakfast they offer in the morning was phenomenal and the wait staff was so friendly. The location is centralized and next to a metro station which makes it ideal for travelers.

I’m not sure if the previous guest smoked in our room but it did smell like cigarettes the staff was very kind and sent someone to clean the room for us. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain, Hotel Barocco is a great place to stay if you’re looking for that downtown convenience. Close to many shops and restaurants, and never more than a half hour walk from Rome’s big ticket places, we never had to worry about a taxi or transport. The staff were highly attentive and very warm and welcoming. They always made sure we had everything we needed, even when we missed our breakfast time, they still offered us a table. Speaking of breakfast, not having to worry about going out to eat for breakfast and spending more money in an already expensive city, was such a great weight taken off our shoulders. The rooms were very clean and bright, with housekeeping coming by daily. It is an old building so it tended to be a bit on the warm side at night and we couldn’t quite figure out how to keep the A/C from blowing hot air in the middle of the night (probably user error as we never asked the front desk about it). If coming from the airport, I suggest your own transportation (uber or car service) as the taxi service the hotel provides runs on the more expensive side. This hotel was such a gem of our time in Rome and would be back in a heartbeat.

The staff at Hotel Barocco were the real highlight. Incredibly attentive and friendly. From those on the front desk, to the breakfast and bar staff, they were all lovely.
The location of the hotel was great and very convenient for getting around the city centre. The included breakfast was fab.
We’d 100% stay here again when back in Rome.

Very welcoming staff! Cheery smiles especially from Fabio and Stefano were really warm. Breakfast was amazing and gave us energy for all of our explorations of Roma. We enjoyed tea in the evenings. Front desk staff helped us arrange our easy travel to airport. Nice recommendations for dinner and shopping. Our rooms were very clean, especially the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The hotel was conveniently located to many of our top sites to visit. When I come back to Roma, I will stay here again and I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Overall, best part of this hotel is all of the staff that we got to meet, very positive vibes!

While this hotel is 4 stars, it should be 5! First off-the staff is very friendly and there to help with anything that you need. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was so kind which made every morning a real treat. The room was cleaned every single day and was spotless. The breakfast and breakfast service were a highlight of our stay and indeed the trip. The location is great as it is close to several key areas and within walking distance to most of things we wanted to see. It is also within walking distance of the main train terminal. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. We stayed 9 days at Hotel Barocco. When we return to Rome it will be at the top of our list to stay at.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Barocco. The breakfast was excellent every single morning, and the entire staff was incredibly accommodating—always friendly and willing to help. Our room was kept spotless throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated.

The only challenge we experienced was accessing the building and our room. We were given three different keys, and opening the main door and the second door often took a bit of time. It would be much more convenient if the hotel could consider switching to a key fob or a more modern entry system.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

An amazing boutique hotel in an excellent central location with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. The reception staff Lisa and Alma are fantastic, nothing is any trouble. The breakfast staff also can’t do enough and we didn’t come across any staff who would not go out of their way to help.
Rooms are immaculate, breakfast is so classy as its table service. I honestly can’t find fault and I have recommended it to all my friends.

Hotel Barocco was a great stay in Rome. At check-in, the concierge noticed that my birthday was the day before and my husband's was the following day. We told her it was a birthday/honeymoon trip and the next day, we had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the room- such a nice surprise! The breakfast was great- you order from the menu like at a restaurant, but it's all included! The service was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient.
