This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Smelled like urine. I found a pair of urinated boxers under the foot of the bed. Black hair was all over the bed. Stains on the sheets. The smell was horrible. The guy kept my deposit after saying he would return it. I will be reporting him to the city because there is no way this is ok especially after my foot touched soiled underwear from a complete stranger

We were never told it was a smoking room and as soon as we walked in , I immediately went outside to vomit , not before noticing the stains on the comforter , the thick air in the room and the numerous boot prints on the door as if several people have tried to bust it down , immediately took the key back to the attendant and said No TY! I wouldn’t let my dog stay there

I was here looking for a house. This was one of the least expensive hotels I could find that had decent reviews so guess I shouldn't have expected too much. The staff was fine but the place was dated but seemed clean enough. Maybe just maybe not nice enough for my tastes. I would prefer to spend a little more money and get a nicer place. If dollars are most important, then this place would be ok.

This property has wrong address on google map. On google map it says 6 min walk to George college. It’s pins on map one block from Georgia College. If you follow directions it will not take you there. The real address is 10 minutes drive from college. Very disappointed stay.

The place was chosen out of tiredness from driving. I needed a pet friendly hotel. I should have read the reviews before I booked the room! The picture from the website DID NOT depict the room my sister and I stay in. The bathroom had mold on the caulking, cigarette burns on the ironing board, the bed spreads and bed headboards on both queen beds. It was disgusting. Unfortunately the reservation was not available for cancellation after seeing the room. Hotel.com should remove Welcome Inn from your website. It’s going to give your company a bad review or reputation. I paid $100 for that room that was horrible and I had to pay an extra $20, non-refundable, on top of the $100. My dog could not have hurt anything in that room. My sister and I refused to shower or sleep under the covers! No coffee in the room or continental breakfast. Place is a dump!!!

There's nothing unique about this property welcome in is the worst hotel in Milledgeville please do not go again you will definitely be not happy no husband and wife there are rude they feel like you owe them something and not the other way around they have no customer service and they charge and probably too much for pets. It is an old motel and showing its age, however it was very clean -- at least our room was. Some things need to be addressed such as the door into the room was secure but there was a noticeable gap at the bottom between the door and door jam. The inside door between the sinks and shower should either be replaced or at least repainted. For the price paid it was fair value.

This hotel is extremely outdated. The units need to be renovated and brought up to date. At first glance the unit appeared to be clean but upon more inspection only a topical clean had been done. Dried urine and feces were under the toilet seat. Hairs were on the lip surrounding the tub. At least the bed linens were fresh and clean. Also no one was in the office and the lobby was locked at 9:30 in the morning when we went to checkout. A note said ring bell for service, which I did, but I didn't have time to wait for someone to show. I had to leave after waiting for at least five minutes. I will not stay here again. The hotel is in an ideal spot for access to dining and shopping. It's a shame it's so run down.

This was a last minute one-night stay for me while on business, and almost every other hotel in town was sold out. (move-in week at the college)
About the only nice thing I can say about this stay was the bed was comfortable. Other than that, this was the most run-down, dirty hotel I've ever stayed in. I didn't even want to dry off with their towels after my shower, as they were so stained and threadbare. Next time, I'll drive the extra 30+ miles to Macon if I have to, but I definitely would not stay here again.

This hotel is located close to the road. Traffic noise could be heard. There is a Walmart directly across the street and a package store that is walkable from hotel. I’m traveling solo on a motorcycle so this place is ok for me. There is no breakfast here or hot coffee. However no shortage of typical fast food chains and restaurants. My room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Dirty stained rooms. Stains all over the room including the fabric headboard, the cloth chairs and the carpet. No food on the property whatsoever, not even hot coffee. Charged $40/night extra for pets for rooms not fit for humans. Do not stay here unless like me you have to get your pets out of the cold and have no other local options.

AWFUL PLACE - FIND ANOTHER HOTEL
I booked a room, but when I got there, the hotel was in total disrepair, unsafe, smelled awful and no one was at the front desk when I walked into the lobby. My sister and I both said there was no way we were staying there for a single night. I canceled the room through the hotels.com site and then i cakes the hotel office to tell them I wouldn't be staying there. I was still charged for the stay. I called the hotel and they told me to call hotels.com, which I did. Their only solution was to call the hotel manager and ask them if they would refund the money since I didn't stay there and the manager said no, he wouldn't refund the money so hotels.com told me I have to pay even though they could see I stayed at another hotel in another town that night because this place was beyond awful. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is certainly a no frills property. It was clean but that’s about it. Door would not completely shut which made the traffic outside seem as if it was inside. No I’m room coffee pot or cable tv, pretty sure it was over the air along with threadbare towels.

Not worth it worse place I ever stayed
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone there were electrical tape around the door connecting to the room next door carpet was coming up at threshold between bedroom and bathroom looks like a dog messed it up, shower wand was tied in knots, weather stripping at entrance to the room coming off, the chair in room had all kinds of stains was scared to sit on the chair, drawer on desk was falling off, bathroom floor was filthy and there were extension cords with lamps plugged into them, the furniture looked like it has not been taken care of, mattress pad was stained, carpet was in need of a deep cleaning, smoke detector was not mounted to the ceiling

I liked that the check-in and check-out processes were very quick and easy. The staff members were also pleasant. The worst thing about this visit was that there were hooligans outside banging on everyone’s doors at 2am, but that is not the fault of the inn, in my opinion.

If I would have had the time in between the reunion to camp out till they woke up I would have gotten as refund or changed rooms.

This was the most Disgusting hotel that I have ever stayed in. I could hear conversations outside of my door, there wasn't a plate in the microwave, so that I could microwave my food. The bathroom had someone elses hair in it and still had water from the last shower taken. I could smell someone smoking in another room as if they were in mine. This hotel needs some major TLC and I wouldn't recommend staying there. My socks were dirty from the nasty carpet
