Will, the concierge at the front desk, was amazing! He went above and beyond to help us make our daughters bucket list trip awesome! The valet was awesome as well! We arrived tired and irritated, and the valet, I wish I could remember his name, put our minds at ease and took care of us and our vehicle with the greatest understanding. Monica and Charles in the restaurant, pure angels! The bartender at Bar Vin, awesome cannot rememher name but she's only there Wednesday and Thursday! If I was going to say anything negative, it would be the music at the clubs surrounding the hotel, going until early morning on Thursday night into Friday. This really is an awesome hotel! We will book it again!

I had a FANTASTIC stay!! Lovely front desk staff, very nice hotel. The room was beautiful and quiet and clean. Loved the location. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping I wanted. Around the corner from Bourbon Street as well, but NEVER heard any of the noise from there at night. Spacious bathroom. Plenty of towels, the bed was super comfy. Loved the robe!! And the BEST THING FOR ME WAS: the shower!! Excellent!! Great water pressure and nice and hot just the way I like it! Just wonderful!! Most definitely will stay here again when I come back to NOLA later in the year. Never felt so right at home.

If I had one thing to improve on, it would be to make the lighting in the elevator a bit brighter. But other than that, I had an excellent time!! The hotel is beautiful!!

This was my first trip back to New Orleans in 30 years. I can’t even remember where I stayed last time, but I know that I will never forget my stay here.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing and did not meet expectations. The property feels outdated, the carpets were noticeably dirty, and the Wi‑Fi did not work at any point during our three‑day stay.
The front desk area also had a strong chemical odor, which made the experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the valet service was concerning, one of the attendants returned our car with sweat left on the console and a strong smell of what seemed like weed. Although the front office said they would report it to the valet company, no follow‑up or gesture of goodwill was offered, despite the condition in which our car was returned.
Overall, the hotel feels overrated for the price, and the lack of attention to cleanliness and guest experience was disappointing.

We were a little disappointed as this hotel was advertised through Expedia for having a restaurant and 2 bars. The restaurant, which was really a bar was not open for the days we were there. The other bar didnt open until 4pm. The room was very musty. The TV only had local stations and the front desk didnt have a channel guide. The chamber maids kept the room tidy and replenished as needed. But the main lobby looked like it could use a good cleaning. The furniture in the room was lovely as was the beautiful courtyard. It seemed to be quiet and in a good area to the French Quarter.

This was an ok hotel The grounds needed cleaning better. The garden beside the wine bar was really worn down and not unkept. The main courtyard had a covering that was absolutely filthy. The breakfast room was nice and clean but they were too busy chit chatting to come out to see if there were customers. The bar itself was nice. The rooms were nice but a little weathered and could use fresh paint. The maintenance room on the second floor stayed open so you could see the clutter at all times which is really an eye sore. The staff was nice at the front desk and helpful. I will post photos.

We arrived at 11:30 pm and were very exhausted. The room was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our needs. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast, and it was delicious and the waitress was very accommodating.
We were able to get a spot on Bienville which made it easy for us, and we were very excited not to have to walk far so late in the evening.
Thank you all very much. We are from Hammond Louisiana and decided after a cancelled flight to stay in New Orleans and we were happy with the Hotel.

Delighted to discover Hotel Mazarin! We live in Louisiana and have been coming to New Orleans for decades for theater, weddings, or shopping. Located a 5-minute walk from Saenger Theater, across the street from John Foltse's Revolution, a block from Arnaud's, GW Fins, 1 block off Bourbon Street, a 2-3 minute walk from Galatoire's and Antoine's. Rooms are clean, tastefully decorated, roomy and relaxing. Doors open to a beautiful spacious courtyard below. A quaint bar on property and The Old Absinthe Bar steps away. Pleasant and attentive staff. Bravo!

From the moment we checked in until we checked out two days later, this was an outstanding experience. The rooms were excellent, clean and well stocked, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the on-site bar and restaurant were quite good, and they made parking a breeze (via valet). Convenient to everything you’d want to do in New Orleans, the Mazarin is a great place to rest and refresh. We will definitely be staying there again; highly recommended!

Plan ahead for the pain if you park your vehicle with them and I hope the staff is more pleasant

On Friday and Saturday nights you will absolutely be woken up till 4am by loud music passing on the streets and drunken partyers in the courtyard. However if that’s your thing it’s proximity to bourbon street is probably a huge plus.

Hotel Mazarin is a NOLA gem inside of the French Quarter. It was resonably priced, even for the Jazz Fest 2nd weekend. The location is perfect for walking to everywhere; one street off of Bourbon and only a few blocks from Jackson Square or Canal Street. There are so many shopping venues, bars and restauarants all within walking distance. The hotel has a lovely inside courtyard where you can relax, meet with friends or pop in to the wine bar for a quick drink. Even though this is an older hotel, the rooms were nicely updated with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. It has a work out room that is functional. There is no onsite parking so valet is a must. It was only a few blocks to the buses and cable cars, so no need to have the car out for anything during the stay. This was the perfect hotel for an authentic NOLA weekend, and we would defintiely stay again.

The door was defective and didn’t open the time after we got our stuff inside. Went out to dinner and came back and we could not get in our door. Hotel Mazarin exceeded our expectations. Every staff person we met was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and very quiet considering how close we were to Bourbon Street. We were there four nights, and the only night we heard outside noise was on Friday. That had died down by midnight, so we were able to sleep peacefully even with a street view on the second floor. This place is like an oasis in a desert. You can be surrounded by all the high energy sights and sounds and yet escape to the quiet of the hotel. I would recommend this place for its convenience, cleanliness, and old-world feel.

The hotel is located nicely in the French Quarter and has a charming courtyard. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Unfortunately the condition of our room had us spending as much time as possible in the open-air courtyard. Dusty/dirty floors, dirty/smudgy door, well-worn furnishings. The air filter for the A/C in our room was caked with dirt and dust. As a result, the air quality in the room was poor, leaving the smell from the partially-cleaned bathroom lingering. The shower had a slow drain, and the sink drain was even slower, eventually not draining at all. In the middle of our stay, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. There was no explanation from staff as to what happened or why, which was surprising. I have pics, but they probably will not be well received.

So, so noisy! Around 11pm our room would literally vibrate from ridiculous bass coming from somewhere. Every night. Lots of noise from Bourbon Street, which is very close.
The shower design is bad, the bathroom floor would get pretty wet.
We weren’t really informed about anything about the property. We weren’t sure what the property had, nor how to access those amenities, so I actually am disappointed in the service as well. We were always acknowledged when we came in, but I wouldn’t call it a welcome.

The room was clean.
Bourbon street noise aside, it’s a decent location. Easy to walk anywhere in the French Quarter from there.
The courtyard is beautiful.
Having said that, it’s covered by a big, dirty tarp that looks a little bit crooked.
The bed was very comfy.
The air conditioning worked well, thank goodness!

I’m not sure if I would stay here again.

Great location a half a block from Bourbon Street and Canal Street with many excellent restaurants nearby to choose from. Property was very European feeling with the architecture and outside courtyard. The deduction in stars was for an odd smell in our room..kind of an oily musty small but the nose adjusted and it wasn't a problem for me. The other is the the connected bar was closed at 930 pm when we got back from dinner. I needed to have my drink certificate taken off my bill from earlier. Hopefully accounting will do that without me having to call. Overall a very positive experience and I would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. William was very helpful checking us in and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. Last night of our stay the fire alarms went off which woke us up at 2:30 in the morning but it was handled very quickly and professionally. I would recommend Hotel Mazarin to anyone. My room was very nice, but the rugs need a good vacuum. The showers great, lots of hot ware and good spray. Parking in town is very expensive, forget the car. You can walk, take a bus or street car most places.
